Vampire + bodymarkings

Rant : make tats show, not fade.

There are several threds of complaints about tats not showing on vamps.
I bought (with Crowns) the bodymarking pack. Many to choose on my non-vamp toon.
Nothing looks good on my vamp alts.
Was there a good reason why this is mechanically imposible to fix?
I would even purchase a "remedy.'

BUG: Dragons

Dragons are bugging out at 1% health leaving them in a frozen animation and unlootable. This happened upon level up so I did get xp credit.

No Meaningful (Gear) Progression

Something that really bothers me about this game is that there is very little meaningful progression past CP 160. The gear you get when you are 160 could very well be the same gear you are using at 660 months later.

This is a problem. All we have is horizontal progression, but little to no vertical progression. Another problem is legendary gear doesn’t feel legendary for the most part. I could upgrade one of my items and make it yellow and give it a bit more base stats but that is all it does. I don’t know that I have ever had a yellow item drop for me (not even sure they do).

Is there anything being done on the gear front to bring back a sense of progression or do I look forward to using my same gear months from now?

Official Player-Khajiit Furstock?

With the release of Elsweyr, new light has been cast on a topic of still some debate.
An old official article of ZOS had stated officially: All Khajiit NPCs and Players are Suthay-raht.
However, with Elsweyr we have at least two Khajiit sharing the same model as the player who both are named to be Cathay/Cathay-raht.
I was told by trustworthy source that on the PAX, ZOS staff has told Player Khajiit are now Cathay(-raht) - dropping the old statement from 2013 in favour for more consistency.

The question I now pose is, simply to have it "offically written down" (hopefully by an answer by ZOS staff):
Are Player Khajiit and most of the default Khajiit NPCs we see truly officially Cathay(-raht?) now (referring to in-game dialoge and the PAX statement)?

How long do people have to talk about the furnishing plan grind before it’s changed? It’s outrageous

Ok this is getting absolutely ridiculous. The grind to get some of these higher end purple furnishing plans is way to much. It is literally the hardest grind in this game by far in terms of time it takes. The drop rates suck, there is no other way to put it. There is literally no reason why anyone should have to farm for HOURS on end to maybe pull 1 purple furnishing plan. There was a slight improvement with summerset last year in terms of drop rates but honestly it’s not enough. Not to mention dwarven wasn’t even touched in terms of better drop rates for the area you are farming. Why are you making it take hundreds of hours opening containers to complete one area worth of plans? I have spent at least 20 hours farming dwarven and in that time I’ve pulled 1 purple dwarven plan. Is that not an issue? I want to complete the plan collection on my crafter but honestly this grind is what is making me not want to play this game lately. It’s an absolute waste of time with the current drop rates. I know people that have only needed 1 or 2 plans to be done for months now and can’t finish because the drop rate is crazy. I personally need less then 20 and I can’t find any of the ones I need in traders or myself unless they are prices in the millions. Seriously ZoS this needs to be fixed. I get it’s meant to be a grind but it has been taken to far. When it gets to the point of constant un-enjoyment, something needs to be done. But sure, keep doing pointless character rebalances and keep ignore your housing player base.

Solution:
When farming a specific area make the drops at least 75% from the area you are farming. If you are farming Alinor, CWC, Murk, Dwarven, etc you should at the very least make it so you get plans that you are farming for. It is very frustrating to be putting in countless hours farming only to get vials, gibbets, and other garbage.

Seriously, this needs to be fixed. You are losing a large player base because of this grind. I used to really enjoy this game, but I just don’t anymore and I know plenty of others that fell the same. Please do something about it.

Also my current username has parts of my surname in it which I am not comfortable with so I really need to change the forum username

Against my better judgment, I will give this one last go. I believe that, for the most part, the discussions have been fun and enjoyable. I feel that I've gotten to know some people on other factions a bit, and it is cool being killed by someone you recognize! :) Anyway, let's stick to talks of builds, funny stories (like the time I got jumped by 8 AD as I rode across the bridge and they bashed me to death as I fell out of my chair laughing), map strategy, which in game snacks you prefer, and of course... Ice trebs.

Bug: Quest: Beware the Purring Lair

This quest requires you to steal 3 items.

When I tried to pickup ANY of the three items I get the red popup to "steal" the item by pressing "E" (as normal) but pressing E does nothing. I can't pickup the items so the quest will not advance.

Is Flawless Dawnbreaker overused?

I know we all love the 5% increase to weapon damage plus another 3% from the Slayer passive but many times I try slotting another ultimate and end up reslotting flawless db. Did they purposely make it bis for stam dps? It seems like the utility of lesser ultimates dont make up for the raw damage increase. Where do you submit nerf requests? Like 96% of every build that's out there uses it. I think its over the top. Maybe like a -43% damage reduction?

Hi guys and gals,
Is there some character page that I am missing? Where are all the stats like fire/shock/frost resistance? Your items (not to mention your passives) have various interesting stats that are not listed in the inventory basic character sheet. Pls tell there is some hidden button to reveal full stats sheet... or are we supposed to remember all items/passives/etc. effects or write them down on paper? Thx for your help

So I've been contributing to and following some of the threads that list out the results of quest choices, but they're spread all over, and look like they're no longer being maintained. So I thought I'd create one thread where people can post, maintain, and track the long-term consequences.

I will be updating quest choices here going forward rather than posting to each of the individual threads. Eventually I'll try to consolidate all the posts into the beginning here. I join every night and never see anything in zone chat. I head to the front keeps (if we have any to begin with) and look for any activity and see none. In the off chance I see someone type something in zone chat, I instantly invite them to a group but they never accept.

Any tips for me? Should I join another campaign? The sheogorath one is non-cp also but there looks to be even less players on it? Do I just suck it up and join the CP campaigns and get crushed?

I'm desperate here. I make lfg posts on xbox and everything and never get responses. Does anyone have any tips at all?

Hi there

Stendarr's Merchantry is a growing trading guild which currently has a trader in Evermore, Bangkorai. We have a lot of friendly members who are always willing to help each other.
We have a weekly lottery and regular guild auctions to raise some gold for the trader bid. We are looking for active members, it doesn't matter if you are a new player, a returning player or an experienced one.
Our guildhouse is still a work in progress but already has a training skeleton, all basic crafting tables and some set tables.
Our requirements are low and easily reachable for players of all levels. We only ask for 3k sales or 1k donation every week. Everything extra is ofcourse greatly appreciated ^^

the issues on these clips are NOT the only bugs, there is at least 4 other breaking bugs for the class.
not to mention the rest of the class bugs that deny total gameplay on some classes ( see my post on bug forums )
how the actual hell, are you able to get away with something like this?
You tell us you know about it, but wont fix it untill next patch?

are you joking? this company should be raided by angry bosmer and get incapped silenced to be sued by nords and be stripped of asking people money for the crap you release.

and yes i am ranting, because these issues were listed on pts forums long before the release of elsewhyr, and you pushed it live anyway giving people something that you know is broken, but dont care about.

i used to be pretty good with it, but they nerfed what i used. The initial burst of Vampire's Bane, gutted Dark Flare (wasn't using it, but still), gutted Total Dark. I am still pretty good, but i am noticeably weaker.

i am playing ranged single target, meaning fire staff front, resto backbar, light armor bright, jewels rattlecage, and skoria/pirate helm. I don't want to play melee with shock staff even if that would be better, but the gap closer sucks cuz the target can simply outrun it since this gap closer doesn't stick us to the target, it only flies to target's current position in the moment of usage. Also sweeps is hard to land. Crescent is good but hard to land.

what advice can you give for this patch? should i drop Total Dark for Flame Clench? Should i start wearing shield, for whatever reason? i can acquire anything in the game but i am not sure how should i play magplar ranged dd, not even Soul Assault ultimate isn't enough anymore.

EDIT: forgot to mention, i am veteran to pvping and ESO, don't come with useless advice for beginners, and avoid bloat posting. I am talking here about noCP pvp, both Cryodill and BGs.

I will be returning to ESO at the launch of Elsweyr and need a solid guild to play with. My plan is to create a utility necro for pvp and pve. Stuck between either tank or mage support styled but that's what I will be focusing on is a support role. I have a couple friends who are playing with me as well. My GT is ThaRocPile, please message me if you have space. I'm hardcore into pvping and wanting to learn more about pve as well. Please do not message me if you are a startup guild. Im not expecting to join the biggest guild right away but I don't want to join a guild with 4 members who just started, I'd like to join an experienced established guild.

Also I'm 29 years old, I've been playing MMOs for the better half of my life, and I swear a lot. Warning....
