Hello,

Blades are a casual guild looking to bring some new faces in. We currently have 176 members (as of June 2019), we've been around since Early Access and have a pretty cohesive group of regulars.
We have a discord server for your chatting needs when offline. ;)

We are a friendly bunch, always joking around, but we keep it mature and help each other out. B)

We're not looking to get a very big guild, will probably stop around 200 members so the guild feels like a family and not like an overpacked tavern. We have some events from time to time and we help out new players daily with information and group content. Management is active and helpful and 100% composed of vets who have been in the game for over 5 years so knowledge of the game, be it the best build or the latest lore, is always being shared. Also @Coldfreeze can help you by explaining the Argonian mating rituals! Can't get any better than that right?

Just sheer nothing for miles. I had this grand vision of emptiness for the zone when I first heard of it before actually getting there. I had thought the zone would be this vast empty desert of rolling dunes with player hubs scattered around, and it would take you like 10 to 15 real minutes of riding to span the distance, with some quest content in between like a pillaged caravan or a sunken cavern. Instead the Alik'r is very rocky and full of ruins and towns and mines and just, really full.

By the way this screenshot was from when I got out of bounds in Anequina, hence why there's nothing there.

Hi there, dear ZoS team,

How you guys going to manage the fact that Xbox EU server is a dead pvp one ?

There is only one faction that got 2 bars everyday : EP.
I dont care about which one is winning or whatever, the fact is there is between 0 & 1 bar for AD & DC everyday. No faction reached 3 bars since Elsweyr update.

Cyrodiil performances are crap since Xbox One release so many players left because of that, but now : what the point playing if you are alone against guards in a pvp arena ?

Im not that kind of guy which leave Cyro when he get killed or when his faction is loosing, idc i only want to play the game & fight people.
But every evening i log into cyrodiil... i need to leave after 45min of walk-alone-adventure because i feel lonely on earth : you see the exact same 50 people in an hour of PvP when the map is designed for more than 500 people.

This is like a snowball you know : there is no fight at all, so i leave, but the next guy is going to get the same reflection "map is empty", and he's going to leave, until the moment there will be only 10 EP guys online in the main PvP campain.

Are you going to merge NA & EU one day ? Is cross platforming something you think about ?
I have a 900CP account on PC too, but i played for 4 years now on Xbox & dont want to let this server dies like i should do.

Please, do something for this empty server. PvP is such a good thing on your game, dont let this server dies.

The Ram Ranch - Newbie Guild for Newbie Players

Hello all, we aren't actually a bunch of ranchers. We are just a bunch of newer players who are trying to learn the game together. Everyone is welcome to join, whether you want to help newer players understand dungeons/trials/etc, or if you are the newer player who is struggling to find a group to do these PvE/achievements. We've run many dungeons together already, and have around 20 players at the moment. We aren't the typically strict guild that demands donations and what not. Our only real rule is to be a decent person, and don't rag newer players who are trying to learn the role they are playing. Prior to this guild, I've run dungeons where someone is getting completely ragged on by another player because they aren't doing their role 100% efficiently. Instead of suggesting what to do, they just trash talk the player for being "trash".

So why should you join The Ram Ranch?

- We are just a bunch of schmucks learning the game, and wanting to learn it with other players.
- We have a guild bank that everyone can access, that we try to keep full of foods/potions/recipes/materials/etc.
- We have vampires/werewolfs ready to share their bites with you
- Out of the 20 players we have so far, many of them are tank roles, and run dungeons constantly.
- We run achievements together. So if you need help clearing a dungeon/delve/world boss/etc, we can help.
- We are active and growing. The guild just started actively recruiting and we are already at 20 players. (at 50 we unlock the guild store).
- You want to learn the dungeons/trials/veteran modes with other players who want to learn it.
- It's also a social guild, so come make some friends.
- You're a solo player who just needs help with X, Y, and Z. We don't mind helping solo players who only need help for certain activities.
- You want to learn different roles/play different classes, but don't know where to even begin.
- You want to level up fast while having fun, instead of just grinding 1 piece of content for 10 hours.


Reasons you should avoid The Ram Ranch?

- You will complain if the dungeon wipes and we have to start the boss over.
- Someone from the group spends 30 extra seconds looting the dungeon.
- The role isn't being played to its maximum efficiency.
- If you are the type of person who needs help the instant you ask for it.

Hello, my level 50 necromancer : champion level 28, has been locked and i cannot access him. I was screwing around in glenumbra and i ran into a bone goliath bug. Ive been waiting 3 days for a ticket to be taken care of. Is there any way i can speak to a human being to get this sorted? Thanks.

I've done close to 30 runs and i have yet to even see it drop. Not just for me, but for anyone in the group. I've heard people mention they have done over 100 runs and nothing.

There was absolutely no reason for them to lower the drop rate so much.

Mystic Siphon: Increase magicka restore to be higher than the cost.

This skill requires corpse to target and deals good amount of damage around the corpse and between the corpse and your character. The skill costs ~3100 magicka and restores ~2800 magicka over 12 seconds. If the leash is cut early damage and magicka restore stops.
While this is not completely useless skill, the morph effect is not very special. Basically it just reduces the skill cost to 300 magicka, providing you can keep it up the whole 12 seconds.

I'd suggest increasing the magicka restore to ~4100 magicka over 12 seconds so Magicka necros would not only do damage with this but they would also restore some resources if they can keep it up for the full duration, which would be much greater reward and help with magicka necromancer's poor sustain. In addition to that, NecroTank could also use it for extra magicka recovery. Tank would have Mortal Coil for Health and Stamina recovery and Mystic Siphon for magicka recovery.

I am starting to feel a bit stagnate. I don't have the feeling that i am progressing in strength anymore and consequently i am beginning to look around for other forms of gaming. I only reached the cap a month or so ago so I cant imagine how others who have been stuck at 810 for years must feel.

People have mentioned a new system but i don't see that in the near or mid term future. So how about it ZOS a nice big CP increase so i have something to work toward.

ESO for Older Than Average Players

As I recently retired and myself being an older than most gamers... I started wondering... if ESO (or on-line gaming in general) has considered the benefit (and market share) of developing a niche in their games for the OTAG (Older Than Average Gamer) community... these are Players not so interested in gaming for Glory or Esteem... but a slower based, repetitive experience to satisfy a casual player, yet immersive enough to keep them engaged and interactive... The one example I can think of off the top of my head.. Fishing... my own father, now dead for 8 years was an avid Fisherman... if the developers could make a fishing pool "furnishing item"... capable of being placed in a Home with some rewards for harvesting (in a limited fashion, of course)... where those wishing peace and quiet, could game away, fishing and collecting some resources... well, it would be cool... I ask this as a question to those who have a father, perhaps with declining health (perhaps with some developing dementia), unable to go out in their fishing boat anymore... who could log on and fish the day away... Just a thought... interested in peeps thoughts and perhaps tweek a developers creativity... :)

Some Idea for Magicka Necro

We all know Magicka Necro is not in the best spot, which of course always prompts the question. " What should be different? " We all have ideas and thoughts. Well I got two idea concerning two abilities, those being Stalking Blastbones, and Skeletal Arcanist.

Stalking Blastbones: So we are all aware of the issues with this ability, most A.I. so obviously the first suggestion is to fix that, but aside from that, I was thinking how not just the fans, but even ZoS thinks magicka necro should be a "Baleful Summoner" Which they describe as having any "ARMY" of undead. Thats what they call it on the skill advisory. But I mean, we only got one real pet, and it does nothing but run forward and explode, which is cool, I was hoping necro would have exploding minions. But it still feeling lacking. What is, instead of damage just scaling with one summon as it travels, we get two? One normal Blast Bones, then a stalking one that does 50% of the oprignals damage that scales up based on how long it chases? Could be ***, could be OP I don't know I can't test it, i just think it seems more summonery and necromancer like.

Now, another idea is to make the second summon a melee fighter that explodes on death, and or when re-summoned/times out. Mostly cause I think its cool, not cause it will fix anything.

Skeletal Arcanist: So, weak, is the best way to describe this ability, not only is it not a real summon, it also does not do any damage or add any utility. It basically just gives you a sucky dot. Now, I got a few ideas for this, the first being simple to add a extra effect to it. Minor Breach/Fracture... Not too many sorces of this, it's a debuff and necros should be known for debuffs if you ask me. Or, maybe minor vulnerability. Either or works for me, I think it would add some much needed utility without putting in the work to completely rework the ability. Now on top of this, it should stay on targets. Going after your first target and staying n it till you target something else, or just make it a real pet and give it a hit box. I know some people would hate that though. given how sorc is treated.

Now I am gonna add one more to this, and that Mending Spirit, I can't help but feel like this guy should put a small shield on us, that could easily be over tuned, but I honestly feel like, since we have no wya to kite people, we could really use a class shield on magicka.

So, pick it apart as you will, just some thoughts I had on the subject.

Wings nerf is a game breaker!

I want to bring to the attention of the devs the fallacy of the wings change(NERF). This change was a horrible one. I don't think that it is understood how important the reflect on wings was for mag dk.

First point:
-Magicka DK is a slow turtle like class with hardly any mobility except from chains and leap. Any other mobility that we would use would come via vampire, a couple different sets, or the psijic skill line.
-Vampire is a horrible line in pvp in my opinion due to the strength of Dawnbreaker and now multen whip, not to mention horrible health recovery. The sub par extra sustain and horrible skill line just isn't worth the damage you take.
-Using a 5 piece set solely for mobility on a magicka class will make you lack in other areas so poorly that it just isn't viable.
-The psijic skill line is a pretty good line compared to many other guild or world skill lines, race against time is a great skill all in all, but using this skill means I will have to use volatile armor and makes the use of Mighty chudan unrealistic with some builds. This can cause problems when trying to get access to the Burning Heart passive which is arguably one of the best passives in the game. Trying to gain access to that passive with the use of other skills in the Dragon tree can be difficult to put it lightly. Wings and Volatile are the 2 most relative ways to gain access to this passive other than coagulating blood, but ideally you already want the passive active when hitting coag, or you are shooting yourself in the foot.

Second point:
-Wings wasn't just a reflect but also a way to save crucial stam in pvp as a mag dk. Wings had a second more important thing to do than just reflect ranged abilities back at the caster, and that was to keep a class with no way to avoid incoming damage from getting cc'd over and over again from range. For a class with no purify, streak, cloak, or other forms of damage avoiding, and mobility skills, not getting cc'd from range even for 1 to 2 abilities made all the difference. 1 ranged knock back, knock down, or stun when stuck in a pitched battle with nothing to do but hold your ground, is the end of that battle, especially with how high damage is now.
-I don't think that ranged cc stun and knock back abilities were taken into effect when looking at this change. I understand that reflect made some ranged abilities obsolete in mainly 1v1s, and it was really only magicka nightblade. This is due to the fact that every ability a MNB uses is a ranged projectile. Now as for sorcs complaining, only 1 ability in their kit was effected by reflect and that was crystal frag. Force pulse was made un-reflect able years ago, curse was made an unblock able source of direct damage also years ago, and lets not forget the most over powered execute in the game. We will leave the issues of the sorc execute for a later time on a different post.
(Unblock able direct damage is ridiculous in its own right, because the way you counter direct damage is by blocking it. That is why dots are even a thing, because dots are how you counter block.)
-Oh destructive reach, how abused you are. Let me just say this when you removed the most reliable reflect from the game, you just opened the gate for some of the most cc abusive game play I have ever seen. I know that most people wouldn't think that one skill on only one class had the ability to keep most ranged cc's from being abused, but it did. I would say the majority of the ranged player base didn't use draining shot or destructive reach near as much as it is being used now, because it could just as easily get them killed as the person they hit with it, if they targeted the wrong person.

3rd point:
-There were better ways to fix the wing issue, you could have used any of the following and it would have been better for both sides, make light attacks un-reflect able, and/or make class spam ables' un-relectable. Another possible change is adding RANGED hard cc immunity to both morphs of wings for 6 seconds or 4 different ranged hard cc abilities.
-Ranged cc spam is completely out of control with little to no counter play to it at least for mag dk. Personally I dont think there should be any ranged hard cc's in the game, not to mention a ranged hard cc that becomes a hard hitting spam able when you equip a master staff. This wouldn't be such an issue if block didn't get nerfed into the ground, which hit mag dk harder than anything else, due to block being the best way to mitigate damage on a dk due to our class passives.
-Being in light armor and getting range cc spammed is almost game breaking and sometimes it is game breaking if you're not in a group especially considering how solo magicka DK in heavy armor is non existent if you want to kill anything on the battlefield.

My Conclusion:
The wings change was game breaking. 50% multiplicative ranged projectile damage reduction is a massive joke. With wings up, cap resits, and 2500 crit resist and still get slammed by 7k frags and 12k killers blades just goes to show there is an issue with the damage reduction. What makes this game changing is you are getting hard cc spammed from 30 to 40 meters out taking this kind of damage. Wings were so crucial to the kit of a mag dk because we are penguin knights and have to waddle across the battlefield to get anywhere. With the nerf to wings you took away my ability to essentially dodge an incoming ranged hard cc that was going to get me killed. Without being able to dodge roll a lot, purify, streak, or cloak incoming ranged hard cc's you have essentially made me a sitting duck if I am out numbered and being spammed. We need this fixed, either give us back our reflect, or at the very least immunity to ranged hard cc for the duration. As for balance changes please don't ever make balance changes based off of 1v1 counters. It is very simple if wings counter your class don't fight them. I main mag dk, so I don't just go try to fight every Templar or purge spamming healer I see. I play a dot class and that would just be asking for a bad time. You removing my reflect is the same as me asking you to remove the purify from templar. It would break the class and multiple builds. minor adjustments are fine but completely gutting a classes only ability to get out of a sticky situation just makes it miserable to play solo or even out numbered for that matter!

I hope you will listen to the points I have made and really make up for this hit to mag dk.

does ANYONE run ANYTHING ESLE? (and have success)

I refuse to run that combo, its been the same thing for like 2 years. if anyone can point me towards some competitive stam DK builds that work well and are not super niche im all for it. I tend to play all forms of pvp (BG's, CP, no CP) so the more areas it can perform the better.

seriously though I say nerf that *** at this point just so we get some new builds.

What the? I was waiting to port into the battleground and it kicked me out to summerset. Top it off i was in the inn when i accepted the battlegrounds and when i was forced out with a 20 minute ban no less, i'm now in the bank? WHat the what?

Does lag consist of no text being active in-game including npc descriptions, quests, inventory, maps, Everything. Above each npc it says Offline. Am i experiencing an isolated issue or are others experiencing this? My internet is working fine so that is not the issue. Any insight would be appreciated!
