Why are we always hitting AD, even when they're in 2nd or last place? Why aren't we hitting the faction that's in first place? Doesn't seem like good strategy or very smart to me.

Can we get a PTS server for Console already?

This would be costly. However, I’d pay extra just to have this capability. This would be beneficial on so many levels.

1. Console and PC do not play the same.
2. We have to pour way more resources into trying out different builds, such as Mats, gold, and time farming.
3. My favorite part of the game is theory crafting and I know a bunch of people on console feel the same
4. Doesn’t it make sense to test on console for any defects as well?
5. Give me a PTS server!!!!! Lol please🥰

Create a queue for buying carries

Since it looks like officially the game developers don't care about this, why not make it simpler for the game players?
Create a queue where someone can offer services and where customers of those services are allowed to queue for that run with a $ amount deposited and where the customer will get how many drops the operator is willing to give?

I mean if this isn't PAY TO WIN like most people have said, there wouldn't be any problem with something like this right?

Why a lot of these changes are BAD for pvp

The changes to most of the heavy armor sets are good and were long needed, only one i don't underetand is veiled heritance which never overperformed and will now be completely useless.
There were some other good changes but a lot of the patch notes made me smh.

1. The nerf to offensive S&B playstyle, is really bad. Im not saying it didn't need a slight nerf, slash was indeed overtuned and it shouldve lost a bit of dmg and one effect per morph, but the rest was completely fine, especially after you already nerfed s&b bash dmg, s&b was fine! To the people saying that a shield should not be for dmg but only for tanking, have you never seen a war movie or played Mordhau? A sword and shield was always a viable offense weapon.
There is a thing that makes this nerf really bad news and that is the fact that there will be 4 classes now that lost their only viable spammables and will now be forced to use either dizzying or be a bleed dot build, yay for less options! I imagine pvp being a way bigger pain now with dizzying and bleed spammers everywhere.

2. Bleeds just got buffed, they wont ignore resistances anymore but you buffed their dmg by 35% and made the passives tick each second instead of 2, this will more or less make up for the calculation of resistence and actually deal more dmg to low resist players and less to high resist players, the exact opposite of what people wanted, plus stamdks with corrosive and pretty much every stam with the new op onslught ult will be able to ignore resistance anyway and deal insane bleed dmg like we never seen before.

3. Cast time on some ultis...why? People aleady tested them and say it feels horrible and clunky, nobody wants cast times just stop!

4. Destructive clench, the only reliable stun and spammable that magden and magcro have, loses a lot of damage, loses all of its dot, loses a lot of range and if its not with the fire staff it loses the stun...this is a terrible change for magdens and magcros who now have no good option for a stun OR spammable.

5. Vigor buff is insane, it's too much, and on the other hand the loss of healing others sucks and uncalled for, why even touch this skill that was perfectly fine??

6. Major evasion on rally/fm now, which means 100% of stam will have the buff now, this will be a big dmg loss for templars, magdens and magcros and just further the tank meta we are in, shuffle was rightfully buffed but will feel kinda redundent when you already get the same buff from rally/fm/blade cloak.

7. This emphasis on trying to make interrupt a thing with skills and sets when there are barely any fricking things to interrupt in this game, certaintly not nearly enough to deticate whole sets and morphs for. Just so stupid.

8. Nerfed magdens again and didnt address the horible flaws of the class design, magdens are still offensively slow af and boring and now lost dmg and their only good stun. There is no hope for magdens anymore.


Off-meta healer identity crisis

I will attempt to do your job ZoS and give some good ideas for adding class heals to each of the non-meta healing classes!

Sorcerer:
Lightning form - have one morph give you an AoE HoT (balance it with the current buffs), and the other be what hurricane is currently

Dragonknight:
Cinder storm should add something else to the heal or increase the radius for it to be competitive with templar's ritual

My Tel Galen

Finally it is here, the presentation of my Tel Galen home. True to the concept, I have decorated this as a fungal Telvanni tower, complete with mystical mushroom garden and impressive interiors.

In this home, the majority of the housing slots have been used on the exterior. A vast collection of mushroom and fungi have been placed in a tasteful manner, along with a host of other exotic and dangerous plants. I have especially used a lot of the carnivorous plants such as sundew and pitcher plants. Why oh why don't we have access to the venus flytrap plants yet? I need those for this home, and the model is already in the game!

A special blue corner with blue glowing plants has been made under some rocky outcroppings, and down towards the seashore is an impressive coral garden with various clams, starfish and corals. Under one of the huge mushrooms, an outdoor Velothi shrine has been placed to honor the ancestors.

This also means that the interior is somewhat lacking in decoration. You guessed it, that infernal item cap. Everything on the inside has been furnished with Telvanni furnishings, and lights, banners, carpets and such have been placed, but all the clutter, all the smaller items that make up a nice home, unfortunately didn't make it. Eventually I may have to just scrap the Velothi shrine and the Coral garden in order to fully decorate the interior, though I think that would be a real shame.

For now, the main interior room has been split up into parts, separated by dividers. Some are sitting arrangements, dinner areas, reading areas and so on. There are three side rooms, Vivec's, Almalexia's and Sotha Sil's. Sotha's is supposed to eventually be a workshop/magical lab area, Vivec's leads to a room with two beds and some bedroom furnishings, Almalexia's leads to a women's parlor with bed and sleeping area, a bath and some beauty parlor furnishings.

Upstairs we have the master wizard's chambers, with a grand table and throne, various paintings, shelves and candelabras. A good place to overlook the entire abode.

ZOS shoud just make:
- 30 days CP locked
- 30 days CP unlocked
- 30 days noCP locked
- 30 days noCP unlocked
- 7 days CP locked
- 7 days CP unlocked
- 7 days noCP locked
- 7 days noCP unlocked

That way everyone would be happy.

But im affraid that then everyone would see how few PvPers are in ESO community.

Right now population cap for each faction is about 100, maybe 150. At prime time queue in both 30 days camps are max for few minutes.

Any News on Future Writ Events This Quarter?

Given that we only have a single berry (unless it changed in the second week and I missed that), when will the other 3 berries for this quarter's mount come?

I looked all over and cannot find anything. Is it still not announced or can someone point me to the known plan?

Cast times on ultimates should not go live

Death Stroke & morphs: Added a 400ms cast time to these abilities to sync up with their animations.
Dawnbreaker & morphs: Added a 400ms cast time to these abilities.
Berserker Strike & morphs: Added a 400ms cast time to these abilities.
Soul Shred & morphs: Added a 500ms cast time to these abilities.
Lacerate & morphs: Added a 500ms cast time to these abilities, rather than the 500ms delay they had before.


These changes should not be allowed to go live. ESO combat is fast paced, and creating burst combos in 2019 takes more precision timing and player skill than it EVER has. Adding a cast time to some of the only instant-damage ults, after YEARS of players adapting their playstyles and honing their animation cancelling skills to better use these ults, is a terrible idea.

On live currently, the unmorphed version of dawn breaker has a short cast time. It feels terrible. The animation feels clunky and delayed, the cone targeting does not feel accurate at all as the damage itself doesn't register in line with the ability use, and it is all around a worthless skill. This change is on par with the ward cast-time change we ALMOST had several patches ago. Dawnbreaker is already an ability that seems to suffer from severe targeting issues with an instant usage on console, and I foresee this cast time making it near impossible to consistently land in actual PVP encounters. Additionally, with soul harvest/incap and berserker strike being SINGLE TARGET+DODGEABLE, having a cast time on them is going to make avoiding them a joke. Soul tether is another ability with a strange hitbox, that will likely suffer severely from this change. Nobody uses lacerate, but now nobody will either.

There isn't even a developer note explaining why this change was made or what the justification was, other than "This change is to help high impact abilities sync up better with their animations". The animation is the LAST THING that pvp players care about, hence the only practice that separates lower skilled players from higher skilled ones. ANIMATION CANCELLING. The counterplay to instant damage burst ultimates is to AVOID letting yourself get into burst range, which has already been made as easy as it ever has been with the ridiculous amount of CP, mitigation, and health available in this game. This is a silly, hand-holding, noob-catering change that has no place at all in the fast paced environment that is ESO pvp.

The painting that takes over the game

Some of you may have heard about the bug where the Aldmeri Painting, Refined replicates itself in player homes, replacing other paintings with itself and even pushing items over the 700 limit. (I'm serious). But my guildies @AONomad and Khajiitdotcom have a new idea for Bethesda...

Picture it:

E3 2020: Todd Howard walks onto the stage, says Bethesda has the biggest announcement of the past decade. Everyone holds their breath. Elder Scrolls music starts playing as the lights dim and a giant screen turns on.

"Bethesda Game Studios presents..."

"The Elder Scrolls Online: Provinces of Skyrim"

Trailer goes on to showcase spellcrafting, new throwable spears, the final chapter of the Year of the Dragon saga, and actually finally fixed Cyrodiil performance.

Then they show a teaser of the new 12 person trial.

"I think players will definitely find that defeating Painting of Aldmeri Ruins, Refined is the hardest challenge we've ever introduced in any Elder Scrolls game, ever."

And then he transforms into the refined painting and wobbles off the stage.

I'm ded.

Serously it was fun to use, I know some people used it to pile on some level of ridicule but we are all adults, it really was not that offensive and alot of posts deserve credit for showing a good natured humor.

Magplar - the "safest" class for pve?

I want to talk about magplar in the context of pve above all vet content. Writing "save" i mean build which is nerf-proof, easy to learn and desired for groups. Extra feature should be being nice in solo content like Worldbosses, solo dungeons and vMA. I have thought so far magsorc is that build because pets, shield and ranged playstyle, but sustain is terrible, pets and shields are going nerf next patch, lack of buffs for group and weak execute. Is this build magplar? Very good since Summerset, good survivability, good healing, ranged playstyle, good buff for the group, next patch also good. What do you think?

Buying completed skill trees makes the under-level-50 PvP campaign pay-to-win

Personally, I think it is real-wrong to allow players to use real money to buy skyshard skill points and completed skill trees. But it's in the game or soon will be, so it is a done-deal. However, Dear ZOS, please consider adding a "flag" to characters such that if a player buys skyshard skill points or any completed skill tree at the Crown Store that character CANNOT enter the under-level-50 PvP campaign. Being able to use a credit card to buy skill points and completed skill trees for a new character clearly makes the under-level-50 campaign Pay-to-Win. There are some players who spend most of their game-time in that campaign and won't mind spending the real money to dominate other (poorer) players. I have enjoyed playing this campaign in the past; but I shudder to think how this campaign will play with big-spenders able to buy advanced character abilities for their new characters. I am very sad to see the game go down this path.

[Warning] RIP Bleeds? Why? DId we asked to remove bleeds at all? Not to adjust to not be OP?

I'm wondered to have no here any discussion to defend the bleeds...They are too strong on LIve, for a very long time.
They strongly deserve to be nerfed...
But.
Now they going to "respect Physical resists"...

Lets talk about Tank Meta here, which was few years ago...do u remember that cases, guys?
Permablockers, extremly big % of all players running in heavy, with less than require damage but slowly died.
Or sometimes with a very high damage to do it when attacker spend tonn of resourses to do a damage because it was very highly mitigated.
Zergs with almost every player tank inside. Or Manatemplars with 60k health and spammed on being exloded Blazing shield...

If there are no Bleeds - new tank Meta coming...
33k+ resists (with health recovery, Major and Minor Protection, Major Evasion added with brainless someone to Momentum...hallo Hell).
And we should remember about no Major Defile on new Reverberation bash here...It's a very huge change.

I can except Bleeds to be scaled with target's resists proportionally to it's resist's Mitigation.
Like when person with 10k phys resists will get small % of damage coming increase from Bleeds, because of ignored resists only for same small mitigation it have in this case.
But tank with 33k resists - to have same Ignored resists as now...Bleeds have right to exist in game. They have a Function.

Because it's counter. It's a strong requirement to have general balance. I can predict that u will not get enouch feedback during PTS on this.
But later...
@ZOS_BrianWheeler , @ZOS_Gilliam Don't u think so? Guys, its obvious, please don't do this mistake. It will cost u many month of critics = company's and game's reputation lost. Don't act like Wrobel. Please.

Master Writs Need to be Easier to Track

I know have one master writ clogging my quest log because I accepted it and only then realized I didn't have the proper trait researched on for that item. I tried pre-crafting a bunch of stuff today and boy is it easy to mess that up.

It would be really nice if the writ would tell us if we can make what it desires, all the parts. Yes, I can look that up, but the interface on the PS4 makes that quite challenging. I am sure you PC players all have an addon that does that, but it really should be part of the game and not require an addon, especially since we can only accept a single Master Writ at a time (in each category).

I'm tired.

Fighting in Cyrodiil is nothing but exhausting. Several years of the same back and forth, same farming, same defending BRK and Arrius from Team Green. Scrolls get taken and no one cares. Gate Keeps get taken and no one cares. This "War" shouldn't have been attached to the main storyline to begin with if it was just going to be left as a never ending slugfest of bomb groups, faction swappers and AP farmers. There's no point in trying to immerse yourself and play like you're a soldier in a War with a Mission and an end goal. There is no Mission, no goal, no sense of purpose to the fighting. I dont even care about the rank Achievements ive yet to earn anymore, nor "Emperor", cause in order to achieve that, you need a popular backing in your Alliance AND some shady gameplay to stay at the top. Its a pipe dream for a player like myself.

I just want to see Cyrodiil know peace for once. To see the City rebuilt and lived in. I want my efforts in the White Gold Tower to have actually meant something permanent, my actions on relighting the Brazier beneath the city to have meant something.

...maybe it really is getting near time for an ESO 2.
