Revert Faction Locks. We've Been Through This Already

I've been playing this game for five years now. In that time, I've developed a lot of relationships and friendships with many players.

Don't force me to abandon those friendships.

I have multiple guilds that I play with. My AD guild plays twice a week. My pals on DC play on two different nights. Both groups play the same server, because that's where the fights are.

Your re-introduction of faction locks will force me to choose one of those two groups to outright abandon and no longer play with. *** that. *** that so much.

Several years ago we had this debate. Your team elected to remove faction locks after recognizing that they didn't accomplish much beyond artificially preventing people from playing with their friends.

Since that time, many players have taken advantage of the freedom you chose to give back to us to make alts, play with new people, and join groups on different alliances.

Don't fragment your community even more than it already is. I can't believe you had to bring this back up, when the issue was settled years ago for the better.

Edit:

Lock rewards to the first faction you log in on, fine. I'll live with that. But don't outright block me from logging on and playing with my friends.

2H Forward Momentum/Rally

I’m not too sure I understand why this skill now has two major buffs. Evasion is supposed to be unique to medium armor and some class skills. Even with the slight nerfs to heavy sets and snb, adding evasion will make 2H heavy builds even harder to kill. I suggest the removal of major evasion. What are y’alls suggestions/thoughts?

Can We Just Rework Sorcerers Already?

People don’t like the way sorcerer plays, I for one don’t like playing sorcerer in its current state and the shields aren’t a good enough defense especially after the new patch. The whole class should be overhauled to be the “mobile shock mage” and not be a walking Jurassic Park. Maybe add some kind of class heal and some healing passives, some stam morphs, maybe a shock damage spammable. Just some ideas for the class to fit the theme of the shock mage.

Grim focus/Shade nerfs

Do not have access to pts, so im wondering how are these abilities doing? Since snb nerfed, grim focus' importance took a hit and now the mitigation also nerfed, how does it feel? There is still that huge bow damage to take in consideration too.

Shade had a big dps boost but now cost got higher and damage got lower, how is it? Im guessing it still worth to slot because it cost magicka anyway and caltrops got nerfed.

I have a question after 4+ years of playing this game Flurry is still useless in PvP.

3 years ago people were not as mobile as they are today. And you maybe had a chance of hitting them with the full 0.6 seconds. You'd get maybe 1 or 2 hits but today it's impossible.

Suggestion: Maybe adding a 1 sec hard snare to the ability so you can actually hit them with the full 0.6sec channel time.

Other things have not worked in the past such as stuns or poison immobilized becuase ppl instantly roll dodge out making it nearly impossible to hit even 1 hit from flurry.

Pve it's really good but PvP it's doesn't make no kind of impact and a useless skill to have on the bar.


Plus it's been a burst meta for 3+ years when will full dot builds get some love again ?

Any suggestions, constructive criticism or positive feedback is welcome in the community.

Hey Adventurers!

I was wondering if there were still any Singaporeans playing ESO. Keen to connect with a group, maybe even build a Guild to play together.

I've been playing ESO since One Tamriel came out, but i have to admit i have yet to explore a lot of the end game content like trials and arenas. I've always been an elder scrolls fan but not a fan of MMO, which was why I've been treating my ESO experience like a story driven adventure and I've not been one to concern myself over numbers and min-maxing (I hate this kind of game mentality anyway)

Either way, hoping to find some like minded, PvE oriented people to connect with. I have a small group (like 3 other) who I know personally that plays somewhat regularly. Hopefully we can expand this number to something that we can tackle end game content together with :D

Or if anyone has any avenues to a Singapore community for ESO that i could hop too it would be great as well :P

Charged or Infused + Disease Enchant for Dueling and small scale pvp?

Reconsider the immobilization change of Trap Beast

As a player who has been running Veteran Maelstrom Arena competitively for over three years, I can easily say that the reduction of the immobilization effect of Trap Beast to 2 from 6 seconds will completely annihilate all Stamina builds in vMA, as far as competitive score pushing is concerned. It is a change that nobody asked for and a change that is not needed at all.

Stamina builds already have to face enough nerfs in the next update, such as damage reduction of Volley, Caltrops, Poison Arrow and Silver Leash, as well as the removal of the rearming effect of Trap Beast. While these changes will have a negative impact in Maelstrom score pushing, they are changes that one can definitely live with and adapt. But the reduced immobilization effect of Trap Beast will mean the end of Stamina builds in Maelstrom. Again, as far as top scoring is concerned. The reason for that is that with just a 2 second immobilization duration, mobs will simply walk out of your (already weakened) Area of Effect abilities right after they spawn. This will result in a significant time loss, as you will now have to focus down almost every single mob, instead of locking them in your AOEs and move the the next one/s. This change pretty much kills all the fun of playing Stamina in Maelstrom altogether.

So please, do this one a favor and reconsider the change.

I think there is something wrong with the the way I view fun, looking at the patch.

I'm the kind of person that prefer to rather be master at one thing than good at many.

This applies in gaming aswell. Hence my disappointment 2 years ago when I returned to the game after a long break and started a Warden to be main. I mostly PvE so that's one of the biggest mistakes in gaming I've done, clinging on to the hope of warden magica dps. I just can't play a class I know isn't the best at anything.

So I started a sorcerer and leveld everything again, researching traits and what not.
Most magica DPS classes have been close, except for warden.
But now the nerfhammer hits sorcerer PvE hard. The homogenization is real.

And I've just lost interest in logging in, I don't want 15 characters, I want 1 good, stable character. Not being in fear of always getting nerfed.

So I thought "well I've always liked tanking in other mmo, so maybe I should roll a DK and always have my no 1 spot".

But then it hit me, passives are getting a rework the patch after this. So everything can change. Again.

I've lost hope since my warden still is bottom tier. That's why I have no real fait in anything being fixed soon.

PUG will be harder with the changes to dps, it's not the 80k dps players that suffers it's the middleman who struggle to reach 30-40k. Or the ones that hit low will hit lower, it's a loss you feel more from 25k down to 15k, compared to 80k down to +70k.

I'm just unhappy with the way this game is being cared for.

I just want 1 character that I can do achievements with and all. And not fearing that my DD(if that's what I choose to play) will turn into a healer 1 year from now because it gets gutted or that homogenization becomes worse, so every class runs around with skills outside of their class skills, because they are better. A little likr it is becoming now.

Anyone share my frustration in this?

Ravager

* OLD: When you deal melee damage, you have an 8% chance to increase your Weapon Damage by 645 for 10 seconds. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds.

* NEW: Each time you attempt to reduce the target’s Physical or Spell Resistance, you gain a stack of Ravager for 5 seconds, increasing your Weapon Damage by 125. You can gain a stack every 1 second. At 4 stacks, the duration doubles but cannot be refreshed.

What methods of proccing the stack exist in a reasonable rotation? Do the stacks only occur if you hit the same target each time? Are we meant to spam breach skills or is this set only useful if pared with Night Mother's Gaze? Who has tested this on the PTS?

I liked that this set was an option for PvE stamplars and now it seems beyond meh. Along with the 7th legion and veiled heritance there were niche options for stam dps in PvE and now we are just funnelled back to the meta.

We need more options not less. Bad Zos no biscuit.

Also I PvP and I don't care what other people wear. You aren't dying because of what other people are wearing. That's like people thinking a meta set will suddenly make them parse 90k+ dps.

Zenimax Consistently Blanket-Nerfing rather then addressing specific issues.

This seriously needs to stop. With the Patch today, that was supposed to address Goliath Ultimate, ZOS decides to nerf the SnB passive from 100% increased bash damage to 500 WD for Bash damage. This has been tested and an effective overall DPS nerf of about 10% on la/heroic-ransack/bash builds on PC. On console....lol. We give up stam regen to bash(we have to block to do it), and bash weaving with a controller takes much more skill. Bash weaving for SnB builds is now dead, when already less then 5% of the playerbase even ran SnB on console.

Seriously, this HAS TO STOP, rather then nerfing just swift when it was the problem, speed pots get gutted.

Rather then just nerfing Dual Wield enchants when it was the problem, SnB enchants got gutted.

Rather then just nerfing THE GOLIATH ITSELF, SnB bash weaving got gutted.

Is this another bad patch?

I don't play ESO nearly as much anymore as I used to. Elsweyr didn't interest me much and I've been playing other things.

From what I've read in the notes and some posts, this is YET ANOTHER terrible patch? Color me surprised.

What are some of the biggest things you hate about this patch so far?

Is there something wrong with DKs tooltips or are they this pathetically weak?

Okay, so I have created lots of characters in this game. I’ve got a Magplar, Magwarden, Magblade, Magcro, Magsorc, Stamwarden, and Stamsorc. And now I’m trying to create a MagDK. I’ve only put a couple hours into him, so MagDK is currently very low level (level 11). But I just feel like there’s something wrong here. The tooltips on his abilities are just unbelievably low. And I’m not comparing his tooltips to tooltips of fully decked out characters I’ve got. I mean in comparison to other characters I’ve leveled this early. It honestly looks like a MagDK is only about half as strong as every other Magicka class in the game. Is there something wrong with the tooltip or are they really just this weak?

The tooltip on the class AOE DoTs (such as Fiery Breath and Volatile Armor—I am not sure what Eruption looks like in terms of damage) is notably lower than I’m used to seeing on any other class AOE DoT.

The tooltip on the class single-target DoTs seems low too. Inferno’s overall damage per second seems to only be about half that of abilities like Vampire’s Bane (yes, Inferno lasts longer and is cheaper, but still). I won’t complain here about Burning Embers because, while it’s damage is a bit low, it’s super cheap and has an amazing heal—it seems like the best ability a MagDK has.

Obsidian Shield literally only provides a damage shield that is 8% of your health, with a base cost of 4050 Magicka. It’s obviously useless in solo content.

Dragon Blood seems like a shockingly weak heal unless you’re literally basically at zero health or are a health-based tank. Maybe Coagulated Blood is better?

And so many of the other abilities are just insanely expensive. 8 of the 10 class abilities in the Draconic Power and Earthen Heart skill lines have base costs over 4000 Magicka. And while some seem good, it just feels like other classes have similarly good abilities for cheaper.

What’s the deal here? I’m sure I’m wrong and missing something. I want to level this guy up and use him as a tank. But it just feels like the process of leveling him will be super painful.

We offer a steady trader in the Alik'r Desert that has no requirements for using. If you choose you could never post a thing on the trader but many of our members have been known to make hundreds of thousands of gold using her so why not! Although, in addition to being funded by weekly guild fundraisers and donations from leadership and guild members we now have Weekly Dues of 2k per week.. We try to make paying your dues as easy and painless as possible. We count raffle ticket purchases, auction bids, and any other way that gold is given to the guild counts toward the dues. This excludes item donations, only gold can count towards the dues. The only exception to this rule is by sending a set amount of the Mat of the Week, for example, this week's Mat of the Week is 50 Mundane Runes to meet your dues. We also allow you to pay up to 4 weeks in advance and give up to three weeks grace period for those who have trouble paying or are leaving town.The System for dues enforcement is as follows:
  1. Week One: Receive Warning Mail
  2. Week Two Rank Change and loss of Guild Chat, Guild Bank, and Invite Privileges
  3. Week Three Removal From Guild without Prejudice

We host Normal Trial events every Tuesday at 10pm EST. If you would like to join our trial team all guild members who are at least cp160 or higher can sign-up on the weekly sign-up sheets posted in our discord server. All trial members must listen in on discord, mic is not required though.

We have other events of every type imaginable hosted daily by our all-star group of officers/event runners, making sure there is something for you to do every single day of the week!

We have a very active Discord and a Website that contain every piece of knowledge you could ever need to succeed in ESO and thrive in our guild. Our Discord contains custom handmade walkthroughs complete with text and images for every single step made up for everything from installing addons to using the guild trader!

In addition, we also have the Most Wild, Active, and Uncensored Chat in all of Tamriel! Our chat is not filtered by our officers, so you can say anything you like Except for ABSOLUTELY NO HATESPEECH!!

We offer a free trait service, providing free research pieces with no mats required for everything except jewelry or nirnhoned traits. Our guild has many Master Crafters who are happy to make anything your heart desires for only the mats required to craft it. (tips are appreciated, but not expected). We also provide an open guild bank policy for all long-term, active members to provide recipes, mats, and other useful items for those who need them.

Rapid Regeneration?

Been hearing a lot about rapid regen only healing one ally of lowest health, which means you may occasionally not get your own heal. I do not have pts and was curious if this is true or not. The way I read it on the p notes was you still get a self heal and only one other player healed, instead of two other players (like it was before). I would appreciate some feedback on this before I get too excited for this new "magic vigor" because this ability would solve a lot of problems for non pet sorcs. Thank you and I appreciate your attention.
