We’ve said multiple times both prior & after “one Tamriel”, or was it the “see other factions in your zone”, or maybe that was the same patch...
But point still stands,

“If you’re going to have invisible/instanced players grabbing nodes as you approach them, you need to increase the number of nodes players can gather or make each node instanced as well.”

Gathering resources for crafting was not an issue before but has been an issue ever since this change was made, especially when you do events such as this latest one for thieves guild & dark brotherhood zones.

Why is there no counter to Major Mending?

Or minor mending for that matter. I mean the "increase healing done" passive. For example,

Protection has Vulnerability
Maim has Berserk
Vitality has Defile

But nothing for Mending? Tanky players can stack stars into both Blessed and Quick Recovery, and DK can get both mending and vitality from fragmented shield + lingering health pots, but the only reply to this is defile?

Is it meant to be Heal Absorption? Because that is not a viable or functional "debuff" atm, limited to a gimmicky set or expensive potions. There should be a counter to Vitality, something like Major/Minor Suppression that reduces target's healing done by 10-25%. Better yet, put it on Incap / Soul Harvest so NBs actually have a role in group fights, targeting and crippling the squishy back line healers. Right now healing is double stacked without adequate counters.

Give Entropy Minor Force instead of Major Sorcery.

Stamina classes already have a damaging ability that gives them minor force "Rearming Trap"

For Magicka users to have minor force, they either have to use Rearming Trap (a stamina ability, thus it scales poorly) or use a non-damaging ability "Accelerate"

We already get major sorcery with potions, I think giving minor force to a magicka dot would HELP close the gap between magicka and stamina, especially now that bar space will be even MORE of a premium with the additional dots we will need to use.

does ANYONE run ANYTHING ESLE? (and have success)

I refuse to run that combo, its been the same thing for like 2 years. if anyone can point me towards some competitive stam DK builds that work well and are not super niche im all for it. I tend to play all forms of pvp (BG's, CP, no CP) so the more areas it can perform the better.

seriously though I say nerf that *** at this point just so we get some new builds.

How much speed bonus do you have / aim for?

Just curious, what everybodys standard are, since all the nerfs to speed? Are you satisfied with regular speed and then just major expedition on/off?

I mainly play BG’s where mobility truly is king. And i like the playstyle. So i often aim for very high to extreme speeds. My current build is a StamNB with 93% speed bonus. Could take it to cap with minor expedition just for the laugh. That is also the most i have ever achieved to date. Friggin fun.

Anyways, just curious what you guys feel is the “meta” for speed?

What rank is the top 2%?

I play on the 30-day CP Campaign. I wonder if anyone knows what rank (position) on the leaderboard you need to be at the very least in order to get the top 2% gold jewelry rewards?
I assume if you reach maybe rank 50, this is possible for gold jewelry? I don't know how to tell how many people are in the campaign, so I cannot mathematically figure the answer out.

"Seventh Legion is both proccing and not proccing in areas it shouldn’t be. These will be fixed in a future PTS patch. Note that passives that proc are not considered “Ability casts”."

RIP for stambaldes and stamsorcs. Still a good set for the other classes.

Stamblades: can not proc this set off of the Shadow Barrier passive.
Stamsorcs: Hurricane is a 15 second buff with ramping damage, hitting the hardest the last 5 seconds. This does not synergize with this class as they have to give up Hurrican's highest damage window as well as cast the ability 33% more often resulting in more stamina drain.

What backbar damage set's are left for these classes?

Do you like Cast times?

How can they possibly charge $130-$150 for a house

The new house - Princely Dawnlight Palace - costs 17,500 crowns to buy furnished.

Who can justify such a large price? I don’t see how the seller OR the buyer can reasonably defend these prices.

What planet are they on? And who is buying these homes?

If you’ve spent anywhere near this price on a house please explain the justification you made to do so. I just DONT get it. Even as a guild house, the game devs really shouldn’t be asking more than $15-$30 tops for these. They’re selling houses at 7x-8x the value of the base game plus dlc. It’s mind boggling to me.

Any other games lag as bad as ESO ?

PC - EU - No CP

Cant play for love nor money today, cant swap bar, can't doge, getting CC'd 3 times in a row, hammering the same skil 20 times and it still wont fire.
Its so bad and, now i've logged out cuz' its done my head in.

Anyone know of any other games / "premium games" that Lag like this? i mean, this is seriously detrimental to the health of the game and i've never seen anything like it,
Is this an acceptable standard ?

If i didn't have so many achievements and rl money invested into this server i would move to NA.

Is there something wrong with DKs tooltips or are they this pathetically weak?

Okay, so I have created lots of characters in this game. I’ve got a Magplar, Magwarden, Magblade, Magcro, Magsorc, Stamwarden, and Stamsorc. And now I’m trying to create a MagDK. I’ve only put a couple hours into him, so MagDK is currently very low level (level 11). But I just feel like there’s something wrong here. The tooltips on his abilities are just unbelievably low. And I’m not comparing his tooltips to tooltips of fully decked out characters I’ve got. I mean in comparison to other characters I’ve leveled this early. It honestly looks like a MagDK is only about half as strong as every other Magicka class in the game. Is there something wrong with the tooltip or are they really just this weak?

The tooltip on the class AOE DoTs (such as Fiery Breath and Volatile Armor—I am not sure what Eruption looks like in terms of damage) is notably lower than I’m used to seeing on any other class AOE DoT.

The tooltip on the class single-target DoTs seems low too. Inferno’s overall damage per second seems to only be about half that of abilities like Vampire’s Bane (yes, Inferno lasts longer and is cheaper, but still). I won’t complain here about Burning Embers because, while it’s damage is a bit low, it’s super cheap and has an amazing heal—it seems like the best ability a MagDK has.

Obsidian Shield literally only provides a damage shield that is 8% of your health, with a base cost of 4050 Magicka. It’s obviously useless in solo content.

Dragon Blood seems like a shockingly weak heal unless you’re literally basically at zero health or are a health-based tank. Maybe Coagulated Blood is better?

And so many of the other abilities are just insanely expensive. 8 of the 10 class abilities in the Draconic Power and Earthen Heart skill lines have base costs over 4000 Magicka. And while some seem good, it just feels like other classes have similarly good abilities for cheaper.

What’s the deal here? I’m sure I’m wrong and missing something. I want to level this guy up and use him as a tank. But it just feels like the process of leveling him will be super painful.

Serously it was fun to use, I know some people used it to pile on some level of ridicule but we are all adults, it really was not that offensive and alot of posts deserve credit for showing a good natured humor.

It's too easy to run from the guards and murder wantonly, so I feel we really need to toughen things up a bit:

(1) Bounty does not tick down when you are offline on the character
(2) If you are wanted for murder, Heat does not go away AND bounty does not tick down. You will need to bribe your way out of it in an Outlaw's Den or use a leniency writ.
(3) Being in werewolf form turns Heat on even if you are just loitering.
(4) Transforming into a Werewolf is a Criminal Act.
(5) Eating a man or mer corpse as a Werewolf counts as murder. If you "murder" the right sorts of people this way there is no bounty.
(6) Drinking blood from a person counts as murder. Some places like Rivenspire do tolerate civilized behaviour, but even the Count of Rivenspire does that stuff indoors with willing participants.
(7) Having your daedra or bear in town is a Criminal Act but there is no Heat. You will just be accosted.

As a consolation, if you have a stack of leniency writs and the like in inventory, being accosted by a guard also lets you pay off your bounty with stacks of those writs first.

Sorcerer - High spell damage or 55k Magika build?

Used to be that maxing out Magika as much as possible was the way to go. For sustain, damage and shields.

But now with Hardened ward being nerfed and applying a set amount of protection.. I am wondering If its better to focus more on getting spell damage higher instead?

Currently running a build that focuses on maxing out magika 55k currently with 1800 regen and have less then 3k spell damage. Should I switch it over to high spell damage?

I picked up a master worm cult writ to make a battle axe, but i cant find the style book anywhere ?

I have trawled many guild traders tried to do dungeons cos i read somewhere end bosses "could" drop them.. what is the point to all this if the goal is unachieveable?

Maelstrom Arena QoL Suggestion

I've done the Maelstrom Arena more times than I'd like to admit, and I've yet to receive a fire destruction staff.

Wouldn't it be kind of nice to get a token every time you complete it that allows you to buy the weapons out right after you acquired a certain amount of tokens? Say, five or ten?

I'm not suggesting that they drop from normal or become easier, but just a little bad luck protection. I've literally done the maelstrom arena upwards of fourty or more times, and it's just getting boring now.
