Cyrodiil is overly DPS-centric.

I recently thought to myself, wouldn't it be cool to setup my healer to capture flags (towns) just by meditating next to a flag with heals-gear and buffs?!

But, apparently, flags can only be captured by killing all the mobs around them. So, basically the only role for quick flag capture is a DPS.

Tanks and healers can't have this fun? Not cool. Support is one thing, but I like to do some solo missions too.

EDIT: This post is about having fun. I see no reason why a healer/tank can't go and capture a flag using their strongest powers, just like a dps does by using its damage to kill the mobs.

EDIT2: No, this is not the same as a dps with some heals. And no, this is not the same as PvE content where healers use/buff dps.

What is the best trait for a 2H PVE build with a stamsorc running a battleaxe -- sharpened or nirn?

Want to use perfected Loki Battleaxe and a bow for my stamsorc. I've seen different builds that either use sharpened or nirnhorned as the trait for the greatsword. Anyone know what is best in slot and the difference between the two. I plan on using poisons on the battleaxe, so infused is out. I haven't heard of precise being used as the trait.

Unlock existing and create a NEW 14-day locked Loyalty campaign (same rewards as 30-day)

Faction lock is great for those that want it, but it is not really workable or fair to lock the existing ones so that many players are locked out of playing their other faction characters until after the 30-day window has passed. Additionally, the faction stacking and population balance issues are more pronounced now as people are locked into a faction and have no choice to play another even if said faction is zerging constantly.

@ZOS_BrianWheeler, Please reverse the faction locks on the existing campaigns, and create a new 14-day locked campaign with same reward table as for 30-day campaigns for those that would like it. Ideally this would be a no-CP campaign, so it is open to all players from newcomers to game to veterans without the CP advantage.

Where's my Dragon to place in one of a few cavernous areas? Including maybe a mounted dragon hanging from the ceiling Maybe a few dragon trophies hanging from the walls and a Dragon mount to ride into town with.

DK skill (Moltan Armaments) do not work with LIGHTNING stuff.

It is not even funny - all bugs i report was not fixed, 2 buged sets - i even test more - all i Bug report was not fixed.

Knight slayer - do not work on Skeleton - it was sad in patch notes it must work.
Eternal warrior do not work with balance even in combat - just ignore 3 my discussions already

Ok may be sets - id do not care me but WHY !!! Skills do not work ? For example:
DK skill Moltan Armaments - now did not work well and do not work with Lightning stuff - but no of that was in patch notes. It work correct with healing stuff and all other weapon - but with lightning stuff only lasthit is empowered.

But in the same time SORCS overlord works fine.

Rapid Maneuver- I would like it back, please

First, the snare remover was taken away from retreating maneuver. Mag toons already have a severe problem with snares, but thought it was cool to take this away even though casting maneuver took 75% of my stamina bar-but OK!

Where I really got ticked off was the total rework of both morphs. I think the in-combat changes are nice to have for the group. HOWEVER, can 1 or both morphs be given back the 30-second speed OUT OF COMBAT? I can't afford to cast this, even at its reduced cost on my mag toons every 8 seconds..... I have this buff on every toon, on my back bar on #5. It is very important to me. I use rapid maneuver almost every minute of gameplay. Whether it's at my home, mounted, crafting between stations, gathering, delving, running anywhere on foot or horse...... it does not matter- it's always up. I know I am not alone in this because I see many other people using it for general gameplay all the time as I do.

I don't understand why it was necessary to remove the 30 second, 30% speed out of combat. Am I REALLY hurting anyone being able to move my slow a*s character faster between buildings?

Put it back, please

Housing Bugs: Base Game Apartments have DC Apartment Loading Screen. Apartment achievement reset.

The AD and EP apartments have the DC apartment loading screen. Not sure if that was the case before. Plus, the apartment achievement for owning and entering one was recently updated to include chapter apartments to count towards it, and it resulted in the achievement being reset. No big deal since it is earnable again by simply teleporting to an apartment again, but if new chapter apartments will be added overtime, it looks like this problem will reoccur.

Multiple Feathers (The Good/Bad News)

For anyone wondering about the fragment system...

Good news: If you have multiple feathers of the same kind, only the first is put into the collection menu. The other(s) stay in inventory/bank. You aren't losing any feathers with this change.

Bad news: You can no longer buy additional feathers with your surplus tickets. :\

Best Patch Ever

Hello, ESO community

I know some of you are, as usual acting like someone shook your bee hive in regards to the new patch. However I among many people think this is possibly the best patch ever to go live and I would like to explain why. With the buff to dmg and self healing paired with the nerf to group healing and overall "tankyness". we are seeing our lovely dev team actually promote smart game-play which as you might have overlooked in your quarterly rage, but it is a very healthy change. Yes, I can agree that some dots need a nerf, but not to the over all dmg but to the stack-ability of *** abilities (Consuming trap). I think that most of you aren't considering the over all picture here and just look at you little nerfs and your little buffs here and there. May I suggest taking in a birds eye view of the situation and realizing that just because things are different, and you aren't familiar, that these changes, with a tiny bit of tweaking are actually better than they have been in a long time. The one thing I fear more than anything is that all of your complaining will push our devs into trying to yet again appease those of you who franky are just incapable of handling change. So i ask those on the dev team that may happen to read this, please drop the hammer, this is your game, listen but please don't let this community ever truly dictate where this game goes. This is an amazing patch. Thank you.

Being pulled out of stealth

I am using shadow cloak on a nightblade however the twilight matriarch pet continues to follow me and often its zap attack pulls me out of stealth and hits me, I am often pulled out of stealth by staff light attacks (more noticeably lightning staff) the same strange way, in cloak, in stealth, no AOEs no inner light, no piercing mark, no detect pots

I dont know what happened but the game graphics are uglier than before the patch

this skill should perform as a selfish heal like Resolving Vigor
this is the changes i propose to compensate the loss

Rapid Regeneration:
  • Share your staff's life-giving energy, healing you for 2052 over 6 seconds.
Mutagen:
  • Share your staff's life-giving energy, healing you and up to 2 nearby allies for 2052 over 12 seconds.

Skyreach Catacombs Runs - Worth It?

I see alot of people advertising Skyreach runs to help people gain xp. But everyone is charging upwards of 5-7k gold per run. I assume this means 5-7k+ per loop around the map?
I'm wondering how much XP this actually is, and if its even worth doing. I currently have a Nightblade at lvl 50 but i wanna level some of their skill lines, but to do so requires me to use kindof a crappy build until i unlock the abilities i want. I was thinking about doing a few runs of Skyreach to help with this but idk how effective that would be.

Also, how does XP sharing within a group work? Does any kill made by a group member give everyone the XP? Or does every member have to deal damage to gain the XP? Cuz atm my build doesnt include AoEs while i level my skill trees.

Can you gift a house from the crown store? i wanted to buy Pariah's Pinnacle for my Grandson and gift it to his account, but it doesn't give me the option. Is gifting disabled for this house or for all houses?

Up until now, you buy an Indrik feather with 10 tickets, you get the actual feather, which goes into your inventory. Of course, the feathers don't stay 'together' in your inventory, so it can be easy to miss one. During last event, I bought what I thought would be the 3rd feather - and then I realized that I already had the 3rd one. :p OK, my mistake, I figured I would just hang on to it to make the 'next' Indrik to come out.

So todays update I find that the feathers are no longer 'Items'. They are in collections. All my feathers disappeared from my bag. Including the extra one. So instead of getting credit for the tickets I spent - and say automatically adding the 4th feather - the extra feather is just Gone. The 10 tickets earned and spent are just Gone.

I don't remember this change being advertised.

Consider this a formal complaint, my favorite character, Reggie Mane the Stray Kat, is so far below my other characters when it comes to combat it’s insane. I can throw the same gear Reggie was wearing on my Orc, Regginald Mane, and the stats are grossly different. Poor Reggie Kat can’t catch a break.

Are Khajiits supposed to be reserved to RPing thieves or hybrid builds?

WTF, please fix, for Reggie.

This skill just is just the most ridiculously over performing cc in the game and makes the old rune cage look tame in comparison. In CP pvp there are already enough snares , CC’s and immobilises to have 1 skill that wrap the 2 worst together. there is nothing worse than kiting on a medium armour build to be instantly wiped because of this skill alone. Combined with half a dozen dots even the most incapable player can sit there perm blocking, fossilise then leap or meteor and get easy kills with a 2 button combo.

In non CP most magica builds don’t have the stamina recovery to break the CC, dodge roll the immobilise and then break the next CC (most builds don’t have the barspace to run race against time). For some reason Rune cage was nerfed multiple ways in 1 update but this even better skill persists update to update without change.

This is a comprehensive list of trophies for your collectible achievements, including the enemy it drops from, zone and dungeon or landmark they are located in or around.

NOTE: Updated with changes from One Tamriel. It is now possible to farm all locations listed in any faction since all enemies give experience.

Important Notes about trophies/collectibles:
  • Trophies can drop from the specified enemy type at any location/zone. It is not location specific. For the most part, locations listed below are suggested locations to farm the correct enemy.
  • The drop rate of collectibles is completely random. Some trophies may take you several hundred or thousands of enemies to kill before it drops.
  • Trophies are bound to your character. Once you loot the trophy it lights up the item in your achievement. You can not bank trophies and trade them to alts.

If you find any good farming spots not listed, comment in the thread and Ill try and update it.

Please post the following information:
  • Name of the collectible
  • Name of the enemy that dropped it
  • Zone you found it in
  • Nearby landmark or area of the zone
