Feedback new console player (PS4)

Hello,

there seems to be a "/feedback" - functionality, which is not available for console players. Therefore I was asked by support to leave my feedback here in the forum.

This is a little confusing since my feedback is extremely negative. So I'd like to ask if the community rules don't apply to me in this case?

Presumably I'd violate the following:

General harsh criticism concerning support (no naming)
Protests, Demands and Threats
Quitting Threads

I thought the right adress for a possible mutual solution would be support, but from my perspective I feel treated disrespectfully to such an extend, that I already declared to fight the company an its product(s) as best as I can.
I already told this to them, but nevertheless they asked me to leave my feedback here.

Mainly I'm looking for a dungeon running guild. I try to search in chat and in my current guilds, but have had no luck. Dungeon finder is useless considering it never works. Or at least very seldom does it work. Just needing some help pls. Thank in advance! PC-NA

Pirate Skeleton and Shields

Pirate Skeleton bonus:
items) When you take damage, you have a 5% chance to transform into a skeleton and gain Major Protection and Minor Defile for 12 seconds, reducing your damage taken by 30% but reducing your healing received by 15%. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.

Lets keep he focus on:
BUT "reducing your healing received by 15%". Pirate Skeleton has this debuff (minor defile) cause 30% reduced damage (Major Protecion) is very strong. Its a kind of balancing: ill recive 30% less damage but 15% less heals too. Its OK.

Now lets focus on shieldstackers:
1- when you hit a damage shield you are not attacking your opponent's health.
2- shields can be recasted without any penality.
3- shields will recive 30% less damage without any penality.

Conclusion:
Reciving 30% less damage on their shields + shields can be recasted any time + Pirate skeleton will not aplly the debuff on shields = Player will recive 30%less damage "without" any kind of penality. this set has a debuff to balancing its power, so it's a big mistake and it's OP.
I remember when a mistake like this happened with overload+molagkena.

Fix it

Orichalcum ore

I currently have the choice between orichalcum ore and calcinium ore. My character is level 28 so if I was making a dagger for use by my character instead of to be deconstructed by my alternate character, I would have to use the orichalcum ore.
Do I get more inspiration points by building calcinium daggers for my alt to deconstruct?

BWB NA PC - Final

Against my better judgment, I will give this one last go. I believe that, for the most part, the discussions have been fun and enjoyable. I feel that I've gotten to know some people on other factions a bit, and it is cool being killed by someone you recognize! :) Anyway, let's stick to talks of builds, funny stories (like the time I got jumped by 8 AD as I rode across the bridge and they bashed me to death as I fell out of my chair laughing), map strategy, which in game snacks you prefer, and of course... Ice trebs.

I was wondering if this was even possible given all the different gear sets etc etc out there or are the passives just too much of loss?

Undaunted Academy

I have been thinking about an idea that @zaria brought up on a thread and believe it might be worth a shot, at least to discuss and bring it to ZOS' consideration.

The Undaunted Academy would be located in each of the alliance's capitals (or at least accessible from there) and completing each level would be a requirement to enter Veteran Group Dungeons and to use Group Finder for a certain level of Veteran dungeon. Normal dungeons would be accessible to all still.

It would have a Tank instructor, Healer instructor and two DD instructors (one stam-based, another magicka-based), to show tutorials, offer practice on certain moves and types of skill and then, at the end of the "course", run a small practice dungeon alongside the other instructor NPC's to use the taught material.

Level 1 of this academy would teach the real basics (block, dodge, buff, debuff, etc) and would allow you to access the tier 1 dungeons.
Level 2 would go further and address rotations, conjugations of skills, synergy importance, gear, etc, and would allow access to tier 2.
Level 3 would be all about working in a group, applying the knowledge of the previous two levels, and that would allow access to tier 3.

This is only an outline of an idea for us to discuss, so do go ahead and bring your own thoughts on the matter to this thread, for ZOS to consider.

Are you purchasing the new outfits? (4 May 2017)

My actual DPS is a bit depressing.

I got my hands on a test dummy and so i took my dungeon diving MagSorc to town on it, to find out the actual numbers. 14,972 dps, 3m 21s

*sigh*

My build follows just for context.

39k magic
2600 spell damage buffed
61.2% crit

5 light/1/1
5pc Julianos
3pc Ancient Grace
2pc Ilambris

Legendary Shock Staff
Crystal Frags
Inner Light
Force Pulse
Lightning Flood
Harness Magicka
-Shock Eye of the Storm

Resto Staff
Siphon Spirit
Inner Light
Mages Wrath
Boundless Storm
Power Surge
-Ice Comet

I cant craft potions so i just use plain magic ones. I wanted to think this character was a beast at PvE, and it actually is compared to my others, but i have been noticing how long it takes to defeat things on my own when i do vet dungeons. Now this just confirms that my build is still crap no matter what i try. How in the world am i supposed to get that number up to 20k or even 30k where people say MagSorc DPS is supposed to be.

Workstations in Player Houses

Man, daily random dungeons can be a real disappointment!

We are fairly new players, and haven't experienced all the random dungeons.. so of course we want to look around, start the quest, and loot.

There are two of us, and we did City of Ash yesterday. The map looked really interesting, and is very convoluted. The other two players who came must have been higher level, and have done it a billion times. We could barely keep up with them, as they ran through the entire map killing everything in sight without hardly any assistance by us at all. That really spoiled the team player concept of the random dungeons for us. Several times we had trouble even figuring out where the heck they went.

We do the daily dungeons for the experience perk, but it almost feels like a spoilery thing, since no one wants to wait for people following the quest, looting, or just enjoying the location and following the story.

I've seen that several times in delves as well, where I'm being stealthy and two or three guys just come running through slaughtering everything in sight. It really makes me want to go back to single player games.

Player Engagement in PVE trials

$

In terms of making trial content accessible, and engaging for beginner - elite players, has there been any talk about adding an additional level of difficulty?
Have normal mode, vet (+hm), and then...ironman? Where the difficulty again increases from the current vet mode, with the potential to earn more score points?
This would give more experienced raiders and teams the chance to have something new and exciting to work towards, without having to really "reinvent the wheel", or build a brand new trial with certain expectations that's released once a year; and it wouldn't change the current experience for lower cp players.
Something similar could be implemented for dungeons....When lots of the dungeons can be solo'd, if not 2-manned, it would be a fun addition if there was yet another difficulty level that we could select to maintain interest.

Would be interested to hear thoughts from other raiders out there... @iRogue32 , @Nifty2g , @Amun93 , @Inig0 ?

PTS 3.0.2 Siphoning Strikes and magblades

I wanted to sort of remind our fellow magblades about the PTS 3.0.2. As you know the new tool tip reads as follows:

•Leeching Strikes (Siphoning Strikes morph): This morph now restores less Stamina per Light or Heavy Attack, but now restores a significant amount of Stamina when the effect ends.
•Siphoning Attacks (Siphoning Strikes morph): This morph now restores less Magicka per Light or Heavy Attack, but now restores a significant amount of Magicka when the effect ends.
•Siphoning Strikes: Reduced the cost of this ability and its morphs by approximately 50%.

I had the opportunity to play in PTS with this skill and I have say it felt less punishing than what it was in PTS. 3.0.1. I really like that devs decided to reduce the skill cost by 50%, while in BG I felt less punished to cast this skill and I would be very careful not to recast it at the last moment (which I normally do) in order to get the burst magicka back.

ok That being said... I would like to point out that currently magicka nightblade is complex enough with the most amazing and awesome skill in the world "Merciless Resolve". I also do realize that current Siphoning Strikes returns to much resources and they need to be adjusted for the sake of pleasing the sustain gods.

Can we not complicate magblade any more then it is now? is it possible to make the Siphoning Strikes 15 seconds again and make it return 400 magicka per light attack. ZOS I am not even going to ask for Siphoning Strikes to return stamina.
