The argument against hiding vampirism is selfish and ridiculous

In reading another thread here I feel the whole argument that's being thrown around is that its one of the downsides of looking like a vampire and to deal with it, use a skin etc... stop telling us to deal with it, if you want to look like a vampire its fine but don't force it on us and tell us how to play the game just because you think vampires should look like it. you can hide vampirism with wearing covered motifs and you can use disguises and with skins that i earned which are equally hidious so why cant i earn a skin to look normal? plus addons tell you if a person is a vampire anyway on pc. quest in friggin rivenspire and you can see varandis ravenwatch hiding his vampirism perfectly fine so don't give me this "its a different strain so its lore" as if a npc can hide it why cant we? I am a master vampire so why havnt I learned the ability to hide it by now? I would spend one of my 327 skillpoints if I could to hide my vampirism or love to unlock it as a skin from being a master vampire. At this point I would even buy it from the crown store...

tldr its cute that you all think vampires shouldn't be able to hide their vampirism but I gave you a lore reason along with equally restrictive and hideous bypasses for hiding it. if you want vampires to look like that just stay looking like a vampire? a smart vampire would blend in to the crowds in the city anyway. cosmetic changes will not increase my dps or give me an advantage over other players.

With morrowind sustain will be an issue so even more people will flock into droves to become a vampire. DO NOT say to use a disguise as they make buying costumes and hairstyles redundant as they hide them. DO NOT FRIGGIN DARE suggest to use those equally horrible Flashlight skins either as that defeats the purpose. Console players and of players will have access to buff trackers that will let you know if a person is a vampire by targetting them in morrowind so don't use that equally stupid argument where you need to see someone is a vampire even tho you could already cover your skin before...

Edit: I'm sorry I cannot see from the other sides point of view. As a min/maxer I shouldn't be punished with looking ugly. Look at dropped sets for example we are forced to use ugly grothgar, etc... Me looking like a normal human will not enable cheats that will let me spam infinite eye of storms. The arguement of not being able to tell if a character is a vampire is invalidated with buff trackers introduced next month. At this point I feel the other side just wants us to look like a horrible joker immitation because "its a debuff" yer I can already hide it easily already...

Crafting for nightblade?

Hey so I know that technically you can do all crafting but it's just too much effort, so far I've maxed enchanting, woodworking and clothing, but I'm wondering if you guys can give me some heads up on which would be most efficient? I'm running a full stamina pure dps focused nightblade with medium armor... I'm kinda squishy lol I thought enchanting would help but so far I've found it kinda redundant for my character...

Two handed weapons (stamina) vs Staves

Tri focus: Gives 100+% of damage of a heavy attack to up to six targets at range for each tick of the attack.

Forceful: Light and heavy attacks splash only 32% damage to only two targets, at melee range.

Any idea why this is?

AMD GPU Driver 17.4.4

Just wondering if anyone else had issues with the new 17.4.4 driver update for AMD GPUs. I noticed that the ESO startup was really sluggish and there was noticeable delay with the mouse pointer and keystrokes registering. Didn't even bother trying to log in - immediately exited and rolled back the driver to 17.4.2.

I also see there's another optional update for 17.5.1 - anyone know if it's usable? These driver updates breaking my ESO is getting really aggravating.

Dodge chance, how does it work?

$

During two separate battles today (one duel and during PvP), the combat text was showing what seemed to easily have been half of my attacks as dodged. There wasn't any active effects to show that they were running Evasion from the medium armor skill line or Blur from the NB skill line. It didn't seem like Hist Bark either as they were not blocking. Neither of them were roll dodging either, although both players were hopping around like rabbits. Jumping doesn't increase dodge chance does it? Are there other sets that increase dodge chance that I may be over looking?

Moondancer Sharpened destro staffs drop chance, RNG a myth?

$

After running nMoL over 20 times recently on console past month (buggy) not 1 single destro sharpened staff of Moondancer has dropped for anyone, unless they kept it secret.

Many sharpened resto, sharpened infernos of twilight, Alkosh etc.

20 runs minimum x 7 chests (140) for 12ppl = 1680 not including the final chest, many have the CP chest passive too.

1680 chests and not 1 sharpened moon that is crazy (not include final boss chest)

Also the actual lightning/fire moon staffs virtually don't drop even in bad trait but they drop many lightning/fire of Alkosh, twilight and lunar coincidence? I think not RNG is a myth.
It is all pre determined imo.

It's style is order of the hour... Thought I could pick up the staff chapter motif cheap and the lowest I've found on Xbox is 23k gold... Guess I'll be passing on these 2 writ vouchers. So are all master writs these hard to find style motifs (trial drop) or expensive 20k+? Or was that just bad luck?

So the other night me and a couple buddies ran into a 7-8 man group of yellows..Killed em' all except a Templar and a DK...They were both one of those "unkillable" builds. Templar had 63k max health and was blocking dmg, Was guarding the dk...Basically this post is asking if anyone has a build like this or similar that could work on a templar? Kinda wanna make one of these "unkillable" tank builds just for the lols. Comment down below your builds

Would prefer a templar cause I'm currently leveling up a DK

PTS Patch Notes v3.0.1

The Elder Scrolls Online v3.0.1 is the first incremental patch on the PTS. In this patch, we’ve enabled the remaining two game types in Battlegrounds: Capture the Flag and Team Deathmatch. In addition, we’ve also activated some Medals that you can receive by participating in Battlegrounds. This is a work in progress, and not all Medals have been added yet.

We’ve made several fixes to content found in the Morrowind Chapter, including things surrounding Vvardenfell quests, Battlegrounds, new furnishings, and Halls of Fabrication. We’ve also made several fixes and tweaks to the Warden class.

In the base game, you’ll find that we’ve focused mainly on bug fixes for this patch, though there are a few tweaks to class abilities. We do have some further tweaks and adjustments planned for future PTS patches, and we’ll also continue to monitor all your feedback.

The size of this incremental patch is approximately 430MB.

Origins of the Dragonknight's "Venon Magic" and their relations to the dragons...

$
0
0
Hi! I wanted to know how the venon morphs from the Dragonknights skills enters into the The Elder Scrolls lore...

I did a research and found no mention of Dragons using "venon shouts" or actually "spitting venon" or being poisonous, exept the descriptions of the following ESO skills:

Venomous Claw: Rake an enemy with your claw, dealing poison damage. The poison seeps into the enemy and increases the damage the longer it lasts;
Noxious Breath: Exhale a corrosive blast, dealing poison damage and reducing an enemy armor;
Green Dragon Blood: (It has no special description, but it describes the blood of the dragon being "green");
Corrosive Armor: Oxidize the "green dragon" blood in your veins ("green blood" from the skill above), limiting income damage, damage nearby enemies with poison and making atacks ignore enemy armor.

There are non-canon information that the Tsaesci (who created the "dragonknight martial arts") learned those "dragon-like" techniques from the dragons themselves; Or that they ate dragons and mimicked them (hence the dragon wings and spikes, maybe their regeneration too).

The only things that could make sense, are that the Tsaesci are reptilian/serpentine folk (controversial), and the fact that the dragons are actual reptiles, proved at TES V, as you encounter the Revered Dragons and the Serpentine Dragons, although the most common dragons are also reptilian. But still no venon/poison/disease...

I know ESO is canon, but should I consider the skills and their descriptions and mechanics canon as well?

(Also, have I posted in the right forum? Or should I post on General, or other?)

Sorry for the english!

Which unoriginal and out-of-place Warden characters will we see the most?

$

Any time a new MMO comes out, or a new class, there is a huge population that has always wanted to play some character they read about or saw in the movies, that then makes those characters. With the Warden, I can think of three main ones that come to mind immediately, and I am certain I missed more. Which ones do you guys think will show up the most (either spelled correctly, or some derivative of the name):
