Just started this game about 4 days ago, been trying to put as much time as possible into it. But sadly I'm only level 13. Is there anyone that is available or willing to help me either level up or craft me some gear wI think bonus exp for my level. I play on daggerfalls and I'm a DK. If I need to farm mats I'll try my hardest at doing so. I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thank you for your time.

After seeing the Warden tanking abilities, I dont feel like playing with my Tanker Templar anymore.

The social bottleneck of Raiding is insurmountable

I've been playing eso since launch on xbox and am stuck at raid content. Every time I've actually done a raid it's went well but I can count on one hand the amount of times I've been able to try. Here's why:

Raid groups don't need tons of tanks. You essentially have to start your own guild and recruit everyone if that is your role.

Finding 11 people minimum who all have the right gear and level and class for raiding who ALSO happen to have synchronized schedules across multiple time zones is basically impossible by meeting people in game.

This requires as much time and effort as running a small business with an unpaid staff that has to be constantly interacted with or they wander off. I don't play video games to be a social butterfly. Talking to random people on xbox is generally abhorrent.

This is a game, nothing should be this much work. Fix the damn lfg and add raids to it. If I can pug Zul'Grurub I can pug anything eso can throw at me.

And for what? Some ugly blue lightning skin? Some tanking set no one uses?
There isn't even a reward to justify the effort other than waving your e peen around on the leader boards.

What is the point to DW?

Why do a LOT of builds incorporate DW when a S+B would probably be better? Assuming none of the DW SKILLS are being used, the only benefit I can see is the final passive (twin blade and blunt)in the DW tree? Builds and building and stats aren't my strong point so could someone please enlighten me about this?

Tanks, Heavy Attacks, and Latency

$

tl;dr: Heavy attacking as a tank is really difficult to do without taking unnecessary damage, even as a player who already frequently drops block for light attacks, and it's harder for those of us with latency issues. Something needs to change before live, whether it's boss timings or heavy attack speed or something else, otherwise the difficulty of tanking is going to go way up.

- - -

Last week I was experimenting with using heavy attacks while tanking on live. On some bosses like Kra'gh it's pretty simple to time the HA, but between the short drop-block windows on harder bosses & latency I'm getting hit a lot more and running through resources like candy for break free & clutch heals. (On live! On PTS I don't have the resources to do that.) On the last ESO Live, Wrobel mentioned the possibility of increasing the speed of some heavy attacks, which would help, but that's only a maybe thus far.

I run a magicka nightblade tank, and on live I rely on siphoning + light attacks to keep my stamina up*. I already drop block whenever I think it's safe, to get a few LA in. It's an active style of tanking, and I love it - there's a rhythm to long fights, and deciding when to buff, to heal, and to block is fun. (Since I don't perma block, on live I only need shards in a few places like nAA's axes & the Warrior.) I also play with an average of 150-175 ms latency, going by the in-game measure, and one desync** every 1.5-2 minutes in boss fights. Latency gives me a lot of problems on bosses with a short telegraph, like having a smaller window to see I can LA and getting hit with things before I can react to the telegraph. For example, last time I tried vCoS Khephidaen's one-shot kept killing me even though I was blocking (or roll-dodging) when I first saw the telegraph; my group members in TS said it looked like I was blocking too late. When I get a desync I hold block and hope I don't miss something important, which doesn't always work (Valkyn Skoria...). The latency isn't the dev's fault, but it affects my ability to complete content and it's not uncommon.

I like to think I'm a pretty good player, but I'm nowhere near top-level: I've main-tanked all the normal 12-person trials (inclulding nMoL), I've successfully tanked vWGT HM but not the other DLC vet dungeons, and I'm stuck on stage 4 of vMA. So if I'm having trouble with heavy attacks and resources as a tank, those are going to be that much harder for new and casual players.

*(I run s&b front bar, frost destro back bar; being able to swap between them in emergencies has saved my party more than a few times, but ime the destro still lets too much damage through so I use the destro mostly for the ranged interrupt and blockade.)

**(Where either a) I can move but no one else seems to, or b) no one looks like they're moving and no skills fire but static animations like flames continue to play, then things "snap" into place a second later. And I have the fastest internet I can get. :p )

Anyone else with similar (or different!) experiences with respect to heavy attacking as a tank? Are there bosses that are easier/more difficult? Do you pity the poor healers stuck rescuing my tank while I experiment? Have at. :)

If Cliff Racer is undodgeable because it has a delay, what about other abilities with travel times?

$

ZOS has stated that Cliff Racer is undodgeable because it has a delay and would be too easy to dodge.

Funnel health has a pretty slow travel time, and Merciless has a channel time, an even slower travel time, and can only be cast every 4-5 seconds.

Not that I think those two abilities should be undodgeable, but by ZOS's new logic with the Warden's Cliff Racer, they should be.

Think of it this way. Cliff Racer is a spammable. If the enemy is trying to dodge every single one, they'll run out of stam dodge rolling before you run out of your resource casting the ability. Active dodge is not a counter to a spammable, even if it has a brief delay.

ZOS's official reasoning on the ability isn't logical.

The only logical explanation is the whole "raising the floor, lowering the ceiling" philosophy by which ZOS is designing the game now. Cliff Racer can be layered into the next global cooldown for a burst combo, and ZOS doesn't want players to have to cc their opponents before comboing in order to prevent a dodge roll.

Just a random thought some friends and I had while doing a dungeon just now. What other dodgeable things can you think of that should be undodgeable according to ZOS logic?

Crafting Level determine nodes found?

Sorry I returned just a while back and recently and today decided to farm some materials. I was on a non crafting character and yet he was finding some rubedite. Since one Tamriel can you find any resources in all zones or does your crafting level still dictate mainly what you find? If i can find this stuff on any character that's great. I hate to have to log in my crafter to find the higher resources.

Against my better judgment, I will give this one last go. I believe that, for the most part, the discussions have been fun and enjoyable. I feel that I've gotten to know some people on other factions a bit, and it is cool being killed by someone you recognize! :) Anyway, let's stick to talks of builds, funny stories (like the time I got jumped by 8 AD as I rode across the bridge and they bashed me to death as I fell out of my chair laughing), map strategy, which in game snacks you prefer, and of course... Ice trebs.

Is Morrowind worth buying ?

$

I have been playing ESO for the past month.
I am really loving this game.
So far I have been playing only my Mag Blade and the experience is a blast.
However I am not sure whether should I go ahead and plunk down (60 AUD) for Morrowind.

Qs

1)

Are we getting new levels in this expac ?.
What made you to buy this expac ?
Apart from new zone and a new class is there anything else which is gated behind this expac's purchase ?

I don't believe I will be liking Warden (and it is very likely that I will never level one) so is it worth to buy Morrowind ?
To be frank I believe they have copied Hunter/Druid/Deathknight of WoW and they are presenting it as Warden
(

Warden Healing = Restoration Druid of WoW
Warden Tanking = Frost DK (used for Tanking in WOTLK) of WoW
Warden DPS = Beastmastery Hunter of WoW
)

2)

So far I have not purchased Imperial or any of the DLCs.
Can they be purchased independently or should I have to ESO plus to access them ?

Necropotence farming, and suggestions.

Hey, so, the Necropotence farm is pretty awful. I've been farming it, regularly, for the past week or two, and the only Divines piece I've gotten is a hat. 4 of them. 4 Divines hats, and everything else either prosperous, infused, or training. On the flip side, I've gotten countless good pieces of Darkstride, and Vampire Lord or whatevever, but it's a crap set. So, a suggestion...

Why not introduce some kind of currency for farming in the overworld zones? Like tokens for killing world bosses, looting chests, completing delves (not just the first time, give us a reason to come back to these little gems), doing quests, whatever.

I'd recommend the tokens NOT be zone specific, as that would add too many different types of currency, and be annoying. Something similar to Tel Var stones, but for the PvE/Overworld areas. Put a vendor in each major city in that zone, and make the equipment BoP. It sucks competing with people looking to cash in on the latest meta, when you just wanna gear out your sorc. This would be a good, and potentially better alternative to getting the gear you want, without paying extreme prices for those that are happy to put in the time. It would also encourage people to do things other than World Boss rotations, or dolmen grinding, etc.

It can even be a sucky RNG loot bag, but at least let us choose what SET the loot bag is.

TLDR; Overworld Tokens for zone specific set gear to make the gear grind more bearable.

Man, daily random dungeons can be a real disappointment!

We are fairly new players, and haven't experienced all the random dungeons.. so of course we want to look around, start the quest, and loot.

There are two of us, and we did City of Ash yesterday. The map looked really interesting, and is very convoluted. The other two players who came must have been higher level, and have done it a billion times. We could barely keep up with them, as they ran through the entire map killing everything in sight without hardly any assistance by us at all. That really spoiled the team player concept of the random dungeons for us. Several times we had trouble even figuring out where the heck they went.

We do the daily dungeons for the experience perk, but it almost feels like a spoilery thing, since no one wants to wait for people following the quest, looting, or just enjoying the location and following the story.

I've seen that several times in delves as well, where I'm being stealthy and two or three guys just come running through slaughtering everything in sight. It really makes me want to go back to single player games.

Pirate Skeleton and Shields

$

Pirate Skeleton bonus:
items) When you take damage, you have a 5% chance to transform into a skeleton and gain Major Protection and Minor Defile for 12 seconds, reducing your damage taken by 30% but reducing your healing received by 15%. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.

Lets keep he focus on:
BUT "reducing your healing received by 15%". Pirate Skeleton has this debuff (minor defile) cause 30% reduced damage (Major Protecion) is very strong. Its a kind of balancing: ill recive 30% less damage but 15% less heals too. Its OK.

Now lets focus on shieldstackers:
1- when you hit a damage shield you are not attacking your opponent's health.
2- shields can be recasted without any penality.
3- shields will recive 30% less damage without any penality.

Conclusion:
Reciving 30% less damage on their shields + shields can be recasted any time + Pirate skeleton will not aplly the debuff on shields = Player will recive 30%less damage "without" any kind of penality. this set has a debuff to balancing its power, so it's a big mistake and it's OP.
I remember when a mistake like this happened with overload+molagkena.

Please Nerf Fishing

Fisherpeople as it stands are way overpowered.

They can endlessly cast their line without consequences or thought. This makes for boring and simplistic game play.

I recommend implementing resources that are required in order to cast. These resources would allow one cast every five or so minutes. That way it would force the player to utilize fishing gear with recovery glyphs in order to cast more frequently.

Implementing this resource system would enhance the economy and gameplay in general by encouraging players to grind for BIS fishing gear or buy similar but ultimately weaker gear from a crafter.

Thoughts?

Identical Trees Different Prices

I am not sure if it is intentional or not but I purchased a couple of Crab Apple trees from the vendor in Craglorn and only when I went to place them did I discover that the Sapling, Crabapple worth 100 gold is exactly the same as the Tree, Blooming Crabapple which is worth 6000 gold. They are identical. I tried to submit a ticket but had no idea what category to put it in.

I tried to add a picture but I have no idea how......
