I think we can all agree that at this point we would like to have some insight from Matt regarding these issues and what the team is doing going forward to eliminate these issues. Gina has done a hell of a job putting out fires for a week now but at some point we, as a community, deserve an update from Matt. Things clearly haven't gotten better and the LFG system has unfortunately done more harm than good along with a bunch of other back end bugs that we haven't seen before this update. Maybe it is time to go back to the drawing board on all of it and start over, just my two cents though.

Ri'Atahrashi.... is this suppose to be some kind of a sick joke?
Unless I am missing something, this World Boss fight is so extremely bad it's almost hard for me to believe it's not some kind of a twisted prank.
If you are going to make moves that just instantly kill people - they need to be well-telegraphed and understood. Not instant moves that seem to come out of nowhere and flood my screen with debuffs and death. I've died over a dozen times now trying to figure out this silly boss and frankly the mechanics of it just seem beyond imbecilic. The only time I've seen it beaten is when there are sufficient people around to simply die and reraise during the fight so it doesn't reset.
I hope this fight is bugged or something. I really do. Because if this world boss is working as intended then I hope to God the responsible developer (or developers) who were behind crafting this boss are kept far far far away from boss design in the future. This has to be one of the most dumb least fun boss fights I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing.

When our team uses the term "class identity," we're referring to what makes the experience of playing a class feel unique from other classes, regardless of what role the character may be fulfilling. We break down that experience into two primary components: power fantasy and play patterns.

Every class should have a clearly defined source of power, and class abilities should reinforce that fantasy through their descriptions, animations, visual effects, and audio. Power slam over dizzying swing?
Just came back to the game after a long break and trying to adapt. For stamden in PVP - can I use power slam instead of dizzying swing now? It hits as hard now, seems. Dizzying was hard to land on decent players, but it had great reward in success – now, with knockback removed, it barely worth it (imo).
So does burst potential is going to suffer from making snb bar my main bar and using combo like sa-ha-power-la-dbos (switch)-execute. I imagine I can also weave la-power/ransack-bash into short bursts from time to time instead of trying to hit skilled in movement players with shalks and also dizzying.
Or should I stay and practice dizzying further? Im into competitive PVP, both large scale group and 1v1 mostly.

MagBlade Theorycrafting Changes Thread
So... what’s everyone thinking with the PTS changes?
I logged onto PTS and checked some stuff out but no duels or BGs. Here are my thoughts:
- refreshing path’s been buffed a bit but is being overshadowed by other abilities. It’s almost exactly the same healing as illustrious healing but a smaller area and costs a lot more
- Combat Prayer got a buff but the healing’s still pretty low
- The other morph of combat Prayer looks a lot better. Before when both were weak it didn’t make much of a difference, now it’s an extra 1k base in pvp heal per player, that’s a lot
- Rapid regen and mutagen both look good
- BRP resto with the ward is meh as a healer, cloak blades might like it but the tooltip’s low in no-CP
- The lotus fan nerf is a little too big imo. Unless you’re a melee I don’t see the point with all other dots getting a buff
- Sap’s healing is okayish, I could see someone making a sap tank build if it wasn’t for onslaught
- Onslaught buff will make for some people interesting 2h magblade builds.
- Dot tooltips are great, crazy long ramp up
- My gear was a little different but healthy Offering seemed changed, I’m not sure
Here’s what I’m thinking for my build when the patch hits:
Breton
5L-1M-1H. Buffer of the swift, Transmutation and the grundwhatever monster set, master’s staff back bar. 2x sp glyphs, 1x mag recovery
Healthy Offering, Illustrious Healing, Mutagen, Refreshing Path, Shadowy Disguise - Soul Siphon
Soul Splitting Trap, debilitate, entropy, Flame Reach, Shade - Soul Harvest
Sort of like a hot healer with healthy Offering for burst healing. Dots for offense, but I might drop one for impale.
What are you guys planning on doing with your jewellery traits? Protective looks... meh. Triune or leave as magicka?

Kicked For Spam
Ok, im just a TINY bit frustrated with this.
Im trying to make the best out of a trading guild, failing from multi bid because we didnt already tell you a thousand times that was going to be toxic, with almost 0 tools for managing it. Thats fine. (Actually its not and we could really use something to keep track of gold donation stats in roaster for member's but I think we all know zos that if you added something like that the servers would catch on fire because this game literally cannot handle any system in it for some reason. So ill just keep updating roaster and google spreadsheets for like 2 hrs everyday like its a job im getting paid for when im not even making in game gold and in fact have had pretty much no gold consistently since I got involved with managing a guild.)
For the love of GOD though, can we fix it so updating roaster notes doesnt kick me from game. EVERY SINGLE TIME i go to update roaster i WITHOUT FAIL, intentionally trying to avoid it, get kicked for spam. THERE ISNT EVEN A CHAT WINDOW OPEN!
While we're at it can we fix it so trying to fight while lagging (cuz that never happens in eso......) also doesnt kick you for spamming. Like if there is not letters, numbers or symbols being entered into game chat. IT SHOULDNT KICK YOU FOR SPAMMING CHAT

Dragonhold Magicka Necromancer PvP Build - BGs, Duels, No CP & CP Cyrodiil
I'm sharing on the forums my Magicka Necromancer PvP build for Dragonhold. It's a really strong build and works in battlegrounds, Cyrodiil and CP Cyrodiil. It has amazing defenses (37k/33k armour) but really high damage due to our pen (15k in No CP - 18.5k in CP) and our 40k Magicka pool. It has really good sustain with 1.8k regen base and over 2.5k effective regen with buffs etc so can stay in the fight for a long time. As with all of my builds, they're balanced and are accessible from 160cp+ without needing special weapons.

How much skillpoints do you concider enough?

Nightblades need their skills reverted back to how they were.
First off I have played a stamina nightblade exclusively since the launch of this game. I have no interest in playing a different class. I have adapted to every patch and normally I say it’s a learn to play issue. But now our nerfs have just made us virtually unable to compete in today’s pvp meta.
First off let’s describe the concept of the nightblade. It’s a stealthy rogue/mage that uses the power of the shadows to attack its targets. That means that it’s not the kind of class that had running around in clunky heavy armor wielding a battle ax screaming into battle. It was meant to be a strategic striker. Meaning you chose your target you attack swiftly and get out. It wasn’t meant for 1v X in the same way that a dk or a Templar can 1 v x it requires a lot of strategy to split up your opponents and get them by themselves.
Now in today’s heavy dot meta pvp is full of large groups. And let’s face it ganking is not much of a thing today. The forums are full of people saying that they hardly see nbs running around and the few that are, are the ones like me who refuse to give up. Because we love the class. However now the class isn’t all that fun to play now that it’s identy has been stripped and a new identity has been thrust down our throats.
So many people have cried that one nb was able to burst them down and to be honest that’s what it’s intended to do. If you were with friends more than likely you were fine. The combined buffs and aoes and heals your friends contributed made a nb gank much more likely to fail. And if that nb managed to split you all up and kill 3-4 of you more than likely that was due to them being skilled and you and your group making a strategic error not to stay together.
Now we have among the weakest class skills in the game. Some of which don’t even make sense to the class
•incap- removed the stun and major defile and replaced with a silence that has virtually no impact in combat and many nbs choose not to wait that long to get 120 ulti - this skill has one of the shortest ranges at 5 meters is dodgeable, blockable, misses often and is single target. Which means it was meant to have extreme effect on the one target you fight again. Nothing was more satisfying than when your incap landed and you saw your target get knocked flat on the ground. This skill made it so when used a target had to quickly react to not get bursted down. Now however most classes can shrug it off no big deal. There are other class ultimates that do considerably more damage and have greater impact than this single target ulti. Dragon leap undodgable unblockable does insane damage and knocks back. Templar crescent sweep is an aoe does 60% more damage to everyone hit and is instant cast and has a dot meaning it’s virtually undodgable due to its 8 meter range. Warden has that blizzard skill again a large damaging aoe that is virtually undodgable and stuns the target, sorc has overload which I will admit needs a rework due to how easy it is to dodge but they have other skills that make them op with shields and how easy it is to mitigate damage
Next we have surprise attack- again a skill that had great spammable potential. Stunned from stealth and applied major fracture to your target. This skill was single target and again limited range. This spammable requires both the magic and stam nb to be up close in a targets face which to mag class is not recommended. Now this skill no longer applies major fracture which was great against the heavy armor meta and is instead gifted the terrible 5% armor reduction if attacking from a flanking position. Which at most means that if your fighting a target with 30k armor your only removing 1500 of that armor. And even less if they are running around 15k and 20-25k making this spammable not very impactful. Compared again to Templar’s jabs which again do huge damage, was a dot direct damage hybrid which is now going to be instead buffed by the other direct damage buffs making it stronger, it slows the target has a huge range and cone of effect making dodging very difficult
All other class spammable sad far as dk whip warden cliff racer sorcs frags and necros blast bones all have far more impact and range than the nbs single target spammable.
I could go further and complain about the nerfs to relentless and how it’s removal of minor berserk and minor endurance being replaced with damage mitigation or how our gap closer no longer stuns or is even reliable seeing as half the time I have to recast the skill 3-4 times before I actually teleport to my target. (Minor vulnerability is however a welcome buff.)
At the end of the day every other class has much more effective ultimates, spammables, gap closers and buffs than nb and nbs have also suffered ninja nerfs due to the global nerfs to bonus damage from stealth crit resistance negating most of our stealth attacks which only hit harder because of stealth and the fact that our cloak is broken by sooo many skills. Nb has so many useless skills that many don’t even use from the siphoning tree or shadow tree as there are other faction skills that are more effective versions of our class skills that all other classes have access too.
