CP Tables

Hi,
did anyone already invest the time to write down the cp + benefit in tables? (Should be UpToDate)
For example it could look like this for Resistant in Steedmundus:
CP - Resistant
1 - 33
2 - 66
3 - 98
4 - 130
...

Also did anyone already figure out functions to describe that?
Only thing i found so far is the EXP needed to lvl CPs.
I'm thankful for any info.

I’m taking a break until ESO is fixed. Been playing since day one. We can’t even play in PVP at night. I had high hopes they were going to fix this.

I have 1 DC character in Kaal. If I abandon that campaign and pay 100k ap, will I be able to use characters from another alliance immediately or do I have to wait for the campaign to reset? Most of my characters are AD.

I mean yeah I was excited for Elsweyr cause cat land and kitty people everywhere, but playing TES:V always gave me a beautiful sense of wild adventure, getting lost in the forests and trudging through snow drifts. From what little screenshots were shown already of Solitude and other areas, it looks like ZOS are going to recreate Skyrim's environments faithfully while incorporating their own touches. Combine that with a much darker, "Gothic" theme of the Chapter and I'm legitimately excited to explore again, and this is a very welcome feeling, cause lately I've hit a major slump with the game. My Main has done EVERYTHING within the scope of my solo ability, and my secondary main is right on her coattails, having just some questing in Anequina and Pelitine left. I've cleared every dungeon, run every Trial at least once. All that's been left for me to waste my time is Cyrodiil and that gets very frustrating very quickly.

Any Way To Put MM Data In ATT

My Master Merchant is years old. Has got loads of data in it.
But now it's outdated AF, and ATT is all the rage.
However, I do not want to loose all the data I have. And using both mods at same time is rather redundant.

So I was therefore wondering; Is there any way to copy MM data into ATT?

Flame Lash change in 5.3.3

Flame Lash (morph): The special attack from this ability, Power Lash, can now also be cast on enemies that are Immobilized, and reverted the cooldown back to 3 seconds.

Soooo, what do you think? For me, it would be better if Power Lash also proc on enemies that are stunned, but that would be too OP i guess...
One question, maybe a little bit off topic: If I want to play both PvE and PvP on my MagDK, which morph should I choose? Would be better Molten Whip in PvP or Flame Lash in PvE?

Does Ravager set work well with a set that procs a debuff like Dragon's Defilement?

Murkmire Celebration event - more information ("Return to Murkmire")

UPDATE: You'll want to start by having a look at the official announcement here: https://elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/57695 and Official Discussion thread here too, perhaps.

CORE EVENT DETAILS:
  • Starts Thursday, February 20, until Tuesday, March 3, i.e. a week later than my original guess. (I expect that something else internal to ZoS delayed the schedule.)
  • You can earn three event tickets per day, by killing and looting any boss or mob in Murkmire, with up to 39 total earnable during the event. Make sure to check your current inventory of event tickets first before you head into the swamps for the day though, and visit the Impressario to spend tickets if you have 10 or more.
  • You can earn special Murkmire strongboxes from almost any activity or loot in the zone. The first of each day is guaranteed and easy to get; further strongbox drops are possible but rare. The strongboxes may include motif pages as well as the voriplasm & gravestake collectible fragments (and other junk). This is a good reason to do quests in the zone during the event.
  • There are double drops for almost everything in the Murkmire zone during the event (daily repeatable quests and nodes etc.), EXCEPT scuttleblooms and other random-reward harvestables (e.g. mudcrabs, butterflies, blackflies). BlackRose Prison will give bonus drops from bosses (double weapon drops have been confirmed!), but it's unclear if this includes the honorguard motif pages.
  • A bunch of PC players will be offline for a while when Update 25 is released on Monday, February 24, due to the required complete reinstall of the game. (Check your download limits with your internet provider, if necessary). This is probably why there is a high total number of event tickets obtainable. The scheduling of this event is not good for PC players, but may be an indirect apology by ZoS to the Console players, who had a lot of problems during the previous event.

Original speculations about the Murkmire Event:
As hinted at in the Crown Store preview article for February, we will have a Murkmire Celebration event this month. The most likely dates for this event from Thursday, February 13, until Monday, February 24 (assuming the usual ZoS event scheduling). This hints at a February 24 release date for the new Harrowstorm DLC. (Update: Feb 24 was confirmed in this announcement, although March 10 for consoles: https://elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/57675)

Note that the Murkmire event schedule will depend on the planned release date of the new DLC release. Because of the expected long download period (Update 25 is a full reinstall), it would be unfair to have an event running at the time of when a lot of players may be offline for several days. (This is also why there is no last week of daily login rewards for February.)

From the v5.2.3 PTS patch notes back in October 2019:
New this year, you can return to the home of the Argonians.
  • Earn up to 2 Event Tickets per day from bosses and monsters throughout the zone. (?? Not clear how you earn them, I would assume from any daily quest, or maybe just first mob killed?)
  • Bosses and quests will have rewards doubled, as will daily quests reward boxes.
  • You will also have a chance to earn a Murkmire Strongbox once per day from the following sources:
    • Killing basepop monsters ("trash")
    • Killing Bosses
    • Opening Treasure Chests
    • Opening Safeboxes
    • Found in interactable objects (i.e. Scuttleblooms, or urns/backpacks?)
    • Opening Psijic Portals
    • Opening Thieves Troves
    • Harvesting resource nodes
Rewards available from drops, Murkmire Strongboxes, and offerings from the Impresario include:
  • Voriplasm Pet Fragments
  • Grave Stake Memento Fragments

I had assumed that the Murkmire event would include double resource node drops (possibly including Scuttleblooms), but this was not mentioned in the PTS notes - we will have to wait for the official announcement (probably coming out on Wednesday, February 12). My guess is that there will also be a discount on the purchase of the Murkmire DLC in the crown store. The Lakemire Xanmeer Manor in Murkmire will likely also be available for sale for a limited period in the Crown Store (and yes it's expensive). The impressario will also have a new Spectral Berry for sale of course.

Recommended ways to prepare for the Murkmire event:
  • use the upcoming week before the event starts to catch up on or finish other zone questlines, or collect the materials from any surveys that you saved away :)
  • You need ESO+ or ownership of the Murkmire DLC to get event tickets and bonus loot. The Murkmire DLC will be "on sale" (I assume at a discounted price) in the crown store during the event (crowns required), or check if you can "buy" a gift of the DLC from another player by trading gold with them.
  • Equip your questing character with some fast-sneak gear (if they are not a stage 4 vampire), like Night's Silence or The Shadow Dancer. (Reduced sneak detection radius sets such as Darloc Brae or Night Terror can also be useful.) Scuttleblooms can only be plucked when your character is sneaking, have a tiny <1%(?) chance of dropping a scuttlebloom animated flower furnishing, and give a movement bonus for the next three minutes.
  • New: if starting the main questline for this zone, carry Lockpicks and be prepared to open some locks quickly during the initial Xanmeer Temple raid - the last part of the first quest is a timed escape with bonus loot if you have time. It helps to have Legerdemain maxed and the Locksmith passive maxed to just force locks open. (It's a gorgeous adventure though!)
  • There are two delves and two World Bosses in this zone, and most are not conveniently located near a wayshrine. It's probably a good idea to explore a bit in advance to unlock the wayshrines before the event starts, especially if you are not in any large guilds. A fast riding speed is also useful - keep visiting that stablemaster daily if you are on a new character!
  • One of the three daily repeatable quests only unlocks after you have completed most of the zone main questline. You can get started on the questline early if you want to increase your rewards from those daily repeatables during the event (more chances of Elder Argonian motif pages), or wait until the event starts if you prefer double rewards from the questing.
  • on PC, addons such as Map Pins (to show zone collectible locations on the map), BeamMeUp Teleporter (to port to guildmates in the zone), or Harvest Map can be useful. Master Merchant and Tamriel Trade Center addons are also useful to give you an idea of how valuable items might be, if you have a guild trader to sell rare items. Note that GREEN Murkmire furnishing plans are quite rare and valuable on PC/NA, so make sure to loot every container in the zone. (Blue and purple plans are even more rare, but urns with a random Murkmire plan can be bought with writ vouchers from Faustina, Rolis Hlaalu's assistant).
  • The Murkmire zone set item drops include the Bright Throat set, which can be quite valuable. Sell Bright Throat items now before the event if you have them; buy them on the cheap during the event to save and resell later? (Update: gold Brightthroat necklaces and rings were available fairly recently on the Golden, so these are not as valuable at the moment as they can be later on...)
Likewise, the Hackwing Plumage style material (mostly from daily repeatable quests and deconstructing gear found in the zone) can be valuable for crafting furniture items - try to get as much of this as possible during the event.
  • If you have Summerset and have not unlocked the Psijic skill line yet, you have a week or so to get started and at least complete the first Psijic quest, so that you can "see the unseen" while in murkmire. (No need to complete the Psijiic questline to prepare for Murkmire though, just the first quest.)
  • If you are really into role playing, create an Argonian character for the event, or create a murkmire-themed Jungle Expedition outfit for your character! If not, at least pack a whip and fedora. ;)
  • Optionally, pickup the Murkmire prologue quest for the Cyrodiilic Collections company from the quest giver at the first wayshrine in Auridon, Stonefalls, or Glenumbra. There are two initial quests and then some daily repeatables (the daily questgiver is near the Stormhold wayshrine in Shadowfen). These quests will all help prepare (a bit) for company expeditions into the swamps, but won't actually count for any event-related rewards. You will meet those NPCs again during the Murkmire questline.
  • If you have not played Murkmire before, enable the game music while playing this zone - it's awesome!
  • The murkmire swamp is full of pestilent insects, predatory plants, and camouflaged creatures. Pay attention to the signs, and tread carefully - unless you are willing to fight a lot of trash mobs. Shadowfen is but a shadow of how hostile the deep swamp can be, but it's worth a short visit if you are unfamiliar with swamplands.

Like what I had stated in my title of my post. I am looking for information in regards to the second best to the Prophet's items. The purpose of this, is because, I am using my main character on ESO as Multiple Weapon Platform. What to do I mean as a Multiple Weapon Platform? My main character is using different types of weapons.

You all can sit there behind your computer in saying, "you don't need this..." I am not interested in hearing about "Oh you need a tank" "Oh you need a DPS" and etc. What I had said few words ago, that is if there is a party. Sorry, I rather go around in ESO world and fight those who becomes hostile towards me. Also don't point me towards joining a guild. I'm not going to be spending additional 'Real Cash'

Sancre Tor, this is how easy the game has become.

Come on ZOS, this quest used to scare people 5 years ago! It was also a quest where you learned to kite, dodge roll and block for incoming damage as if you were running a dungeon solo.

I am level 21, using crafted Hunding/s/Nightmother level 16 gear (all training trait) and Orzorga's Tripe Trifle Pocket for food. Bow skill line at level 10 when I started the quest.

I just bow light attacked myself through the whole quest... Health didn't even drop below 24K... Didn't even have to use healing skills...

Change/add to the Emperor conditions to discourage Boosting

$

kHXrhEJ.png

More often than not it's always the same players who actively Boost millions of AP to ensure whenever their faction crowns an Emp, it's them. It's never decided by skill or contribution to the team. Emperor's get 2x Regen across the board, 2x Ultimate gain, and 75% more resources across the board. A well built player suddenly becomes nigh unstoppable a lot of the time short of throwing at least a dozen players at them. With such a large boost to a player's combat capability, the conditions to award these buffs should be more than just shadowy dealings at a back keep with a couple cross faction buddies.

To ZOS devs: Cyrodiil continues to impress.

ESO is my favorite video game ever. I have spent god-knows how many hours in Cyrodiil. It has provided endless enjoyment in those de-stress hours after work with a cocktail, or when I’m stuck on bed rest with a cold, or on late weekend nights when a little digital mayhem feels appropriate.

I’ve always been as much an explorer as a fighter. I know most every minor play set in the zone...the khajiit Pirate Bay, the werewolf encampment...the weird guy with a dead wife who’s having a tea party with corpses. I know the fight sets too...I know the best corner to hide in at Faregyl, and I know a certain platform at at a certain keep that will remain unnamed where range attacks get a range boost for no reason.

Today, traveling from Drake to Cropsford, I found a small detail I’ve never noticed before...a small shrine set into a hill. It’s nothing more than an inset stone tablet with a carved lion motif and some paving set around it. There are no NPCs or any clue as to what this shrine is, or how old it might be. It doesn’t have to be there, but at some point a designer decided to add some detail to an otherwise deserted area.

Cyrodiil continues to impress me all these years later...thank you for providing such an amazing play set for your players.

Simply put, Grothdar and Zaan, both monster sets dealing flame damage based off proc, get the benefit of the extra 5 seconds. But Ilambris Meatero shower which deals damage over time does not. Is this intentional or bug. It seems that Ilambris fire side DOT should benefit from Elfbane as well.

Extreme lag increase since last week

There has been a noticeable increase in the lag on xbox-eu since last week, myself a large number of others are experiencing this across all aspects of the game, cyro, bg, dungeons and open world. Examples are using dk wings and nothing happening then 10x go off at once, bar swap is taking two seconds when even just stood in Daggerfall. Puncturing sweep just not registering even though the target is stood in front of you.

We have tried the usual hard resets, game data deletion, change of network access. I have even tried on a connection that has 100/100Mbps uncontested bandwidth and 4ms ping.

Hardwear: Xbox One X (Scorpio Edition) running on a 4k display.
Connection: 30Mbps broadband (wifi), 80Mbps 4G (wifi), 100mbps leased line (wired)

LAIRS: Proposal for a Group Content Setting of Story Bosses

$
0
0
What is this: Proposal for a new form of OPTIONAL Group Content that utilizes the Story Bosses.
NOTES:
- I am already seeing mistakes from people that didn't read the whole thing and made assumptions. If you want to discuss please read the whole post first.
- This is about the Gameplay experience of the Story for both New & Vet Players
- This is NOT about availability of Group activities in the game.
- This is NOT about gating story for new players

The Reason
At the end of the day; I don't see a reason why the Big Bad of an MMO (that is a threat to the whole world) should not get a group activity.
I understand that the final story bosses are designed for New players to make them feel like winners BUT that is not a good system for the long term.
Hyping up a Baddie over the course of the game OR a year+ long story arc only have it end with a lackluster boss fight is always disappointing.

Game-play is intrinsically part of the Story experience.
What about the already invested players who have stuck with the game since the beginning? Why should the story game-play experience only cater to new players who are just getting into the story that some of us have been playing for over 5 years now?
Marketing a New Story to invested players, as well as integrating the Dungeons more into the story, but making the Final Boss in Story installments New Player Friendly ONLY, with no choices in difficulty, makes no sense.

BASICS
Story Bosses were essentially Solo dungeons so now they will be repeatable content with an optional group setting that players can unlock
These Lairs will get their own tab in the Group Finder because they are unlocked by playing the story. (and do not play like the typical dungeon)

Lairs will have three settings:
- Solo: Initial version that players go through during the story. Capped at 2 players
- Normal: Group setting
- Veteran: Group Setting with an optional Hard Mode at the end

These activities cover the Base game, Daedric War, Season of the Dragon, the Dark Heart of Skyrim, and all future DLCs/Chapters.
Lairs will either have to be unlocked on each character (as to encourage players to do the story again) or will be unlocked on the whole Account.

There will be a Lair for the Bosses of the following;
- Base Game
- Morrowind
- Clockwork City
- Summerset
- Murkmire

Followed by the Final bosses of "Season of the Dragon";
- Mulaamnir
- Laatvulon
- Kaalgrontiid

What is the purpose of this Proposal?
The point of this proposed activity is to be incentive for players, both new & old, to play the story content as well as make use of existing Story Bosses. It can feel disappointing when players go from hard Dungeon Activities & Trials to Story bosses (that the whole story arc was building up) that are so easy a novice could beat it.

Why not make Story Bosses that are a big challenge and also offer great reward? Make the Final Boss something for players to look forward to.
Overall adds more to the base game and add-on content. More engagement and more group content that makes for a better Story game-play experience.

Are templar (especially magicka) overpowered in PvP in compare to another classes?

$

I create this poll to put some attention to the situation when class which is absolutly best support in game, who can indefinitely heal up himself whole group, provide resourses and most important buffs...also after Elsweyr launched - has best surviveability in game, best or one of the best sustain in game, very nice damage, fast cc charge (withh offbalance built in), fast range cc (spear), chiepest in game aoe burst ultimate (without casttime), resists and general tankiness (blocking and another passives, rituals), autodebuffing healing and damaging everyone "Living Darkness" and can't be debuffed because of Extended ritual...

If someone will want to call this "complaining", create please a table, where in one column u will write all strong sides of each class, in another one weak side...result will be interesting i garantee...I play on mag and stam templars and I'm bored and annoyed. Easy mode for me, especially at magplar last 3 patches. Battlegrounds show this very clear - 1 magicka templar completly changes the balance of whole match. But there are veryoften groups of 3 or 4 magplars at the same team. Premades gone and it's very nice... now time to take a look at class balance
