it was always interesting why in the bank the first cell always opens from which they pick up, and not into which they put it?

Why can’t you put many epic scrolls in the bank like scrolls for resetting skills, etc.?

Why don't motive books have stacks in the bank? etc

Why, when disassembling things on the machine, things from the bank are shown? (can I make a separate cell for parsing from the bank?) People make out a lot of things without knowing that they are displayed from the bank, and then say that they have disappeared things from the store

Why is there no hotkey to lock / unlock an item?

Wife and I just started. She is a Necro Caster DPS. What would work well with her? I can't decide.

Hey Guys, as i beat SP HM multiple times now, i wanted to share a somewhat safe strategy for the fight that makes sure you get decent good progression. This is not a guarantee for you to beat it, it is just meant to give you an Idea of how you can beat it as safe as possible. It is still very punishing for mistakes and takes a lot of practice to finish. I both tanked and DD'ed the Hardmode. At all successful attempts we had one stamina and one magicka DD, so it is doable with both.


Alright, let's start with the positioning:

What's the reasoning behind this? There are three conal section i the arena, and you want to make sure to standright on the Borders between two of them AT ALL TIMES. This ensures that you can stand simply sidestep the one that becomes active.

1. Focus the adds down first! As long as they are alive, every mistake is a probable wipe. Once they're dead, you can recover at all times. And they make the tanks life really hard...
2. Assign one DD to have an eye on the statues and to call out which one it will be, they glow before they start the cone.
3. Have the healer run Kagrenacs Hope. It really makes a difference.
4. If you miss one synergy during the ice phase, have the healer res IMMEDIATELY afterwards. This is the only time where you can res somewhat safely.
5. Tank takes the beam because he doesnt have any task during the ice phase and has enough time to look for the beam.
6. Healer takes the shield because you need the healer to have the most reliable synergy that is always there.
7. Ice phases come all 20%, take it easy, make sure everyones alive before that starts.
8. Make sure to move the lemeneide a bit, when you use synergies right in between two cones, there's a bug that will kill you despite having a synergy. So move her a bit and make sure to take all other synergies as far from the borders as possible.

Now another advanatge of this strategy is that the tank can always stand between all other three people easily when they get the Zaan Beam mechanic on them (indicated by the orange arrows below):

When the tank gets the beam, one DD (can also be stamina DD) stand in between and take one hit, two at max. Move out again, tanks survive multiple hits if they get healed!

On top of that, you should assign possible spawns of ice mages to each DD to scan and announce where they are. In the beginning we wiped a lot because we forgot an ice mage close to the
statues. Have each DD start at the outside statues and meet in the middle and have them scan these zones indicated in yellow:

Now go in there and melt.

I'm wanna try and make a harmony build but I'm having trouble deciding which set to transmute to harmony. It seems most people say go max mag sets but I don't see why really.. Classes like sorc and warden have mag multipliers so it makes sense stacking mag on them but magcro doesn't have that so it seems pointless to me.

Anyway I've been experimenting with some '' normal '' magcro builds and building for spell damage seems the way too go based on tool tips but for harmony I dunno how it works.

2 sets I'm looking at to transmute to harmony are ancient grace or willpower and then maybe btb on the body when I'm solo and vicious death when I'm in groups.

Any help would be appreciated 😊

Why are heals improved by increasing damage?

Why isn't all healing improved by increased healing only? Just seems odd that you improve your dps and you improve your heals. I get it, this is a big reason why really good players can take on 20 people at once but is that the goal? You can play anyway you want, but it is a RPG and shouldn't there be sacrifices, and roles? If you want to heal you use healing gear, you want to dps you get dps gear. DPS would still have self heals, but not at the level they are now and probably burst damage would need to be toned down. I just think it would give healers more of a role and balance the game. Maybe i'm completely off base, thoughts?

Break Free

Is it severely desync’d or what? Multiple times yesterday I’d break free to have to break free again, (like consecutively, milliseconds from the first break) both times it used up my stam, and I’m talking back to back.

Are you not interested in the situation with production skills?
Adon "HarvestMap"makes these skills (https://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Keen+Eye+Cloth and etc) completely useless, no one in their right mind will put points in these skills.
Adon will completely replace the skill machanick for finding raw materials.
It is free and does not require 4 skill points.

The screenshot provided will show how the change to remove group queueing / premades hasn't actually fixed the problem, it's a match making issue, always has been, always will be, they need to fix their coding and not remove our ability to play with people....

Dear ZOS,

Your game was so amazing. But not anymore. The lag is in pvp AND pve. The CC cooldown in pvp is nonexistent so the ability to counter much isn't really there. It doesn't matter what faction you play, you still get the same lag that makes the game unplayable. I don't know what you're doing, but I"d think with the covid-19 going on, you'd realize people are using your game to help them get through the cabin fever. I'm terribly disappointed. Not even Thornblade was this bad.

Edit: with solo i mean with playing teso without real life friends,not to do dungeons without people. Maybe i have not explained right,sorry. Of course i need people to do dungeons and such,but i play solo.

How do I log in to my main character?

I can't log in for the main character. I've already written to support .Pending data load error (360863 - c00000000007c10). This happens only on one character, on the rest everything goes well and works. I have already checked for file integrity, cache integrity, reinstalled the game, deleted mods, completely deleted the game and installed it, made graphics on low, waited more than 20 minutes, ran as administrator but nothing helps, I still can't log. I have been waiting long enough, I have paid for eso plus and I am very sorry that it may end. My friends and my group on raids ask where I disappeared, they really need me, but I can not do anything, because all the money and things I have left on the main character on which I can not go. My ticket: 200411-001536. I need help!

Missing Items - Gloves of the Seducer

Went to upgrade purple Gloves of the Seducer to gold. I had the 7 Dreugh Wax required for the upgrade and it said that I had a 100 percent chance to craft them and they just vanished after crafting. It's all really very strange. I don't know what happened since I had the 100 percent chance. I am guessing lag, because the server has been very laggy for some reason.

What is the point of playing a build that uses a burst combo (which is essentially every build in the game) when it is so ridiculously easy and cheap to stand there and hold block? Not only that but the concept of being able to block cast combined with the easiest way to mitigate damage is the Reason for the tank and spank meta. When nearly every build in the game uses one including tanks, dps and healing centric builds it demonstrates there is something grossly over powered about it and that it is heavily over performing. Throw in things like tri pots for super easy sustain and a panic heal, mist form for essentially 4 seconds of block mitigation for 4k mag and its very easy to see why no one dies. Its just a bad design than a glass cannon with 9k resists can mitigate almost as much damage as someone with capped resists for simply slotting a sword and board back bar and stam builds can simply hold block for the entire duration every time you go on the offensive.

I understand that PvE needs sword and board to work as it does but it currently makes PvP a slow painful arduous grind, especially when inexperienced players who would be a 5 second 1 combo easy kill with a bow or resto staff are now a drawn out sustain based battle because they simply hold 1 button down with sword and board equipped. What was once ESOs fast paced fighter style gameplay is quickly becoming another slow boring grindy MMO

Unpopular Opinion (dragons)

I hope the upcoming Greymoor expansion and subsequent Skyrim related content has a few dragons. They don't have to be, and shouldn't be imo, the focus, but I really like what they've done for overland content. Of course they sometimes bug out--everything in this game is a little broken--but when they're working well they're still the most fun overland content to me. They're challenging, largely on account of damage, but I find them fair. Their telegraphs are clear, based on both visual and audio cues, and though their damage is high, their slow rate of attack makes it manageable. I've learned more about positioning, survivability, and keeping a cool head while holding aggro from these dragons than any other content in the game. I actually find fighting them fun, especially with a smaller group, and the loot isn't half bad, either. I'd love to see how ZOS could expand on the dragon mechanics. I'd like to see increased mobility and dragon ambushes. I think that'd add a lot of excitement to overland, bosses that hunt you, instead of sitting pretty and waiting for people to wail on them. (I understand that's a far fetched dream based on the infrastructure of the game, but a lady can dream.)

. . . Plus, all right, I do love dragons, and I did like Skyrim, and I would like to see some of my favorite designs return. I don't think it'd be the worst thing for the game.

I will bump this everyday until something is done. This a post from someone else who got no acknowledgement but these are the issues I've been having. Yes, somedays GF works just fine but this is unacceptable. This is one of the most basic functions in an MMO and they still haven't got it right. It's been broken and buggy for how many years???

This has been happening since dungeon finder was supposed to be fixed a few weeks ago. Happens almost half the time when I get a group.

- Ready checks kicks in
- It goes straight into Notifications (kinda like the past issue where even after accepting the group it would still end there, except that now half the time it goes straight there)
- Once you open your ready check in Notifications, clicking Accept does nothing at all
- The only way to close this is to refuse your group but when you go back to Dungeon Finder, you can't queue again (it is greyed) and as a matter of fact if you are still queued, leaving the queue is also greyed
- So in the end you have to soft log to be able to enter the queue again

Hope this gets fixed.

God of Schemes: Vanquish Molag Bal - BUGGED

This game never ceases to amaze me truly. I've don't this quest on probably 3 toons or so, decided to finish it up on another alt. I've never had this happen before but when Molag Bal lifts you into the air and after you beam him to death, instead of slowly falling to the ground, you get stuck midair. If you wait long enough, you're standing on invisible ground. You have no choice but to fall to your death. I think if you have around 21k health, you might be able to survive the fall damage. That's not the point really. After doing a little searching this quest has been exceptionally buggy for at least 4 years from the posts I found. Not even sure why I'm posting this as ZOS doesn't acknowledge anything. They might want to fix this with Greymoor around the corner and the influx of new players.

I am sure that many of you would like to place an easel in your houses. I feel the same, maybe more in my case because drawing is an important part of my life. So, until the devs will place that easel we saw in Artaeum on the furnishings list, I opted for a DIY version :smile:

The good thing about this design is that it uses a very cheap and available woodworking blueprint: Blueprint: Hlaalu Hanger, Mounted, which is about 200 gold on traders.
I recommend using an addon for precise placing and changing the angle precisely. The way I do it is to start the construction having the parts placed at 0/90/180 degrees relative to the coordinates of the house. After I am done, I link the components together and place the group as I want.

Here are two versions:

Type 1

The first uses 4 hangers:

Type 2

The 2nd design uses one more hanger, but looks better in my opinion. The front legs are tilted 5 degrees, and so the standing part. Only the back strut is perpendicular.
The upper hangers overlap at the base, right where each one has a nail. In order to prevent clipping, one is one coordinate lower and backwards than the other.

Long time RPGer - ESO is amazing

I come from a long line of RPGs. Starting with table top AD&D, the original Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior on the old NES, from there moving into Circle MUDs. I had a blast playing all of those games throughout the years. I must say, ESO is amazing. The graphics, the story, the game play. Even the "fetch" quests (usually) have something more than "Get me 10 bear pelts". Coming from miniatures on a table top and text based MMOs, this game is great. The details are fantastic. I haven't read all of the books in the game but the level of detail put into writing that many stories is fantastic. The way many people play this game the books could just read "Two handed plus one" but they don't. They have a story in each and every one of them. On top of that there are the regular books with horror stories, funny stories, "academic" stories. Even the letters I receive from hirelings have a story to them. Whoever is doing all of that writing, good job.
