So Google Statia will get cross-play AND cross-progression with PC? This is something I know consoles players have asked to get for ages. Seems like consoles are getting the short end of this stick with this announcement.

Excavating a gold level item, I keep digging up the entire chest, but it still fails...

I'm able to dig up the entire chest for the gold item but it is still failing (running out of time)...is it me or is it bugged? Am I missing something?

Returning End Game Player - Looking for Established PVE (Dungeon/Trials) /PVP & Trader Guild

Hello,

I’m a returning player, been around since the start of ESO on console and made the transition to PC a couple of years ago. Due to changes in a few things IRL I had to step away from the game for a bit and most/all of my guilds has dropped me from the rosters. I’m back now and looking to get into PVE/trial guilds geared towards endgame. I will more than likely be bringing a a friend as well eventually if there is space. We are both experienced end game players that normally filled the DPS roles in our past guilds, however we have characters across all roles. We had completed most/all content up to the release of Elswyr, with my roommate running vet sunspire quite frequently. I was never able to make it in for a run, as this is when the changes to my schedule were starting. Basically what we are looking for are guilds that still do trials for perfected gear runs, veteran dungeons arenas (vBRP and vDSA) that are willing to guide/teach As we were not able to run some of the content before as we always had a very limited roster of (vet ready) dungeon/trials players. We were both averaging around 50-70k dps at the time that elsewyr dropped on a raid dummy (Mag Sorc/Magblade/Stam DK/Magplar). I have one of every class, Magicka and stam, a tank And a healer character (tank and healer need to be geared, and I need a little coaching for those roles as my experiences in dungeons/trials have been from a DPS perspective).

We are also looking to do PVP, and would like to have a guild that does regular large scale as well as BG’s. We have an advanced understanding of our PVP builds, however, we would both be open to coaching and guidance as we had been primarily PVE players before (outside of getting our 25k AP for the transmute geode and weekly BG’s).

As for trading, I have 18 characters, and a master crafter. I generally do writs daily, and can make either trade guild sell/purchase requirements.

Forgot to note:
CP: 810
ESO+ and all Expansions Owned
All maelstrom weapons obtained
Flawless Conqueror Title Obtained
Almost all vHM completed (lack a few due to not having tank/healer for runs)
Have almost all monster sets, excluding those that came out after hiatus.

Not elitist, however, I do take pride in efficiency and will personally be running the best build for clearing content that I can. I also enjoy fun runs, as I have also cleared almost all vHM 2-man with my friend mentioned in earlier.

We just want to find an endgame oriented PVE guild that will help us grow further as players and be willing to still teach/run some of the older content that we were not able to get completed Or that still needs to be farmed for sets, in the past. Thanks to all who view this, cheers.

Crafting
We assist with leveling crafting, helping members acquire items and providing crafting tutorial events. We’re kicking off auctions and support other departments with prizes. While we’re not a trade guild, we encourage members to provide invites into successful trade guilds, giving our members the best of both worlds within our multi-faceted community.

PvE
RoH covers the full range of PvE, with events scheduled four nights a week. Activities range from super-casual Leveling with Friends groups to Trials. Additionally, we run multiple pledges and random dungeons a night, including slow-paced Intro to Dungeon runs for people new to group play. Finally, we spice up our PvE with special events like a no-pants zerg, costume contest, dungeon races and more.

PvP
We encourage fun and friendly competitive gaming to both fans of PvP and those curious about it. We are always willing to lend a hand with builds, classes, and how it all comes together to make a character effective in PvP. We enjoy all aspects of PvP and offer groups for Cyrodiil questing, small-scale skirmishes, the opportunity to join larger groups to attack keeps, Sky Shard Hunting groups, Imperial City content, Battlegrounds matches, and Delve clears. Our alliance for PVP is Ebonheart Pact. Our home campaign is Sotha Sil.

RP
Enjoy collaborative storytelling? Join us for guild-hosted stories that will appeal to both new and seasoned role-players. We are interested in character-driven stories where choices matter to the overall story arc. We provide assistance with characters stories along with introductions into current guild stories. Our forums are robust and provide an interactive writing experience for all.

Housing & Fashion
The Housing and Fashion Department is dedicated to bringing all that ESO has for those aspects of the game to our members. Housing workshops, guides on how to look your best, and of course costume contests are just some of the offerings from this department. RoH loves to look it's best while going on adventures throughout Tamriel, as well as knowing how to decorate a great place to relax, party with friends, or admire trophies of our conquests.

ESO Gameplay
We offer a play-your-own-way environment where members are encouraged but not required to attend guild events. After this update today it completely messed up my minimap and every time I go to a wayshrine and look at the map then back out the map still stays on my screen. Also here are some screenshots of what my map looked like can someone tell me how I make it look like that again I think it’s votans minimap tn1lzwkhnpmx.png

Anyone coin this term yet?

I thought the psijic line was bad, but this is the grindiest patch to date. Antiquities are the worst grind I have ever seen. It also feels like I am playing a Mini-Game that was developed in the late 90's for a palm pilot or something.

If that wasnt bad enough, vet players, please go regrind the arenas you have already run hundreds of times. I feel like this patch has taken a big step backwards. Carry on.

Q: Lots of people ask for things to be introduced into ESO. If you had a magic wand, what would you introduce first?
A: Fix all performance issues! We have a big team looking at it, and its just very hard. Its often caused by high load.

2. Regarding bad launch of Greymoor
Q: Still digging through it, there will be an official message for that, as the Live team was fixing things all the time.
We almost broke all time concurrency record today.
We are investigating Lag-Related Issues for Western Skyrim, but other than that, servers are holding up fine.

Q: Are there any plans to adjust combat based on the current performance issues - for example client server location desync's caused by knock back and knock up abilities, and bugs with sprinting and stuns (streak cc bug?)?
A: Do you want us to remove sprint? No.
We know there are Desync Issues, We are knocking them out over time. A lot of them got fixed in Update 25, and some more fixes on 26.
The Team is currently doing an audit, and is looking at these issues.

Q:What do you think about an "Choose your start Location"-Menue after creating a new alt? (That way players could experience the old starting zones again)
A: I think its a good idea.

Q: Will there be another Trial this year?
A: We released Kynes Aegis this year

Q: Are you planning to split up the servers into EU West / East to help with the server load?
A: We don't have any plans on splitting servers. We did add capacity to the EU Server. We look at the load regulary, and monitor it. We got alot better compared to last year

Q: With Western Skyrim opened up, is there any chance to see Markarth or the Reach later in the year?
A: Good question. Check out the Stage Event, there may be a small spoiler there.

Q: Is there any chance in the future to update the vanilla designs to reflect the progress made over time.
A: Though question. We don't have unlimited time or unlimited people. We are constantly evaluating if we do something new or revisit something old. New stuff most times wins, as we learned a lot. If we would revisit old zones, we would need to bulldoze these if we would like to do major changes. We do add things and update those, but not whole overhauls (any time soon).

Q: Lyris Mount?
A: No.

Q: Why are current VMA and VDSA weapons not being upgraded to their perfected versions?
A: They are not imperfect, you didnt loose any power. Its still the same weapon. Current weapons became a lot more accessible. I made the call for them to not be upgraded, as players didnt loose any power.
You didnt loose anything. If you want the perfected versions, run VMA again.
Yes it may feel arbitrary, i get that, but again when youre kind of doing that kind of balancing act, i made the call to not upgrade them. Blame me (Rich) for it.

Q: How is working from home?
A: Its definetly been a very big learning cure. We already had some experience, a lot of us are already used to it.But now its the entire team, and some pipelines/processes didnt work quite as well from home as from work, so we went through a bit of a learning cure. But i would say overall the team did an great job to adjust to it. But we are not pretty much right where we were before.
For me (Rich) the hardest thing to get accustomed to is loosing these kind of "Watercooler Talks" This doesnt happens anymore as much, and you have to book meetings for these kind of things. It's tough.

Note: Use the /bug and /feedback-functions. They are read everyday.

Q: Opinion on feet/toes in Skyrim?
A: Eeeh, i don't look at the feet in skyrim.

Q: Will we ever be able to gift houses to other players?
A: We know a lot of people want it. I can't guarantee it,but we are looking into it.

Q: Is there any plan on making the respawns for Harrowstorns shorter? People are sometimes waiting >20 minutes for these.
A: Shouldn't happen. I will make a note

Q: How many players are needed to take down a Harrowstorm? (vs Dragon)
A: We balanced to a decent group (4 player). They will scale up to 8. When there are more than 8, they becoma cakewalk.

Q: What is the next festival/even this year, that you are excited for?
A: One of my faviorite ones is "Witches Fest". You can do what you want, and can just "stumble" into it. New Life will be interesting this year. (Spoiler maybe)

Q: Revising Events on the Roadmap?
A: Big Part of Engagement Strategy. So yes, there is a team for that.
First Goal for that team was to just make them work without any issues. They helped to make these events a lot more bugfree. They are also working on improving them.

Q: What are you planning for the Champion Point System?
A: Hmm. I will say, that the team is actively working on it right now. We can't talk right now about it, but we hope that we can talk about it hopefully soon. (Within a year). We have a plan, the team is working on it, and as soon as it "solidifies" we will reveal more.

Q: Are we still on the same release cycle. (With everything going on in the world right now)
A: We are still commited to the quarterly updates. We are working on Update 27. Next internal date for it is tomorrow. (28.05). We are already working on Update 28, 29 and even Update 30 (The next Chapter)

Q: What will happen to us console players when the new systems arrive?
A: We didnt talk about it? Then i cant talk about it right now. When we are ready about it, we will talk about it.

Q: Thoughts on ESO STADIA?
A: Very soon (June 16th)

Q: Would you think to add barbers to the game?
A: Really gone that direction, you can kind of already change your hair at will as long as you have these collectibles. We are interested into adding new Hairstyles, but we are not thinking about adding new systems in that direction.

Q: Are we going to see event incentive other than Indrik, and will the Indrik system be reworked soon?
A: That's a good question. Time will tell.

Q: Dragurkin are unkillable. Is that intentional?
A: Dragurkin are unkillable?? *Wife yelling in the background, telling him to fix it*. Yeah, i guess there is an issue.

Q: Regarding /bug /feedback: How much is it funneled through the Selection List
A: Rich and the individual Leads reads the Raw Lists. The other people read the funneled lists.

Q: More transparency to the /bug /feedback system? More screenshot options?
A: I will ask, and see. CS/QA control those forms, but i will ask about it in particular.
In regards to more transparency: The first test was the performance roadmap, not sure how successful it has been.
We are evaluating how these things are working. We want to be as transparent as we can, but we are not sure how far we can go. A lot of things happen during the development process.

Info: Server Multi Threading in Update 26 was in the first PTS Patch, but was removed and will be included in 27

Q: Any plans there will be more NPCs in the future for housing? Or armor stands?
A: I like that train of thought

Q: We will ever see an system to earn Crowns through daily challenges etc?
A: Not sure
We kinda have that right now with the gems, where you can earn those with crowns. I can talk with the teams to see where their heads are.

Q: Cyrodil performance is not where it should be, it got worse since Harrowstorm. Any thoughts/forecasts?
A: The team is nose to the grindstone in looking at the performance impacts. (Pretty big team, not just engineers). They are looking at every item set, and trying to find issues.
This is the reason we didnt add a lot of new content into it, as it would only increase the issue.
I can't guarantee when this is will happen.

Q: Last year Battlegrounds became Soloqueue. Is this permanent, or temporal?
A: We are still evaluating it. We havent seen a marked improvement. We didnt see a large change in player numbers. (Slight Improvement). We are still talking about it.
If we let players choose we would fragment the queues, and Battlegrounds wouldnt match up anymore. We are still in the evaluation process.

We have seen Feedback by passionate PvPers: "We ignore the PvP". This couldnt be further from the trough. These are just hard issues. We are working on it.

Q: Any plans to get the "Female only" adornments to become available for male?

Swarm mother OP (edit, and Domihaus)

I know you guys like discussing how bugged the game is, but time to bring to light the change they did to swarm mother.
Swarm Mother: Changed the 1 piece bonus of this set to 1096 Max Magicka and Max Stamina, instead of 129 Stamina Recovery

So, if you are a tank/pvper that needs both resource pools, and need something to pair with your mythic item, it is stonekeeper no more (stonekeeper had 1.5 stat density) but swarm mother and Domihaus (2 stat density on 1 piece) are very stat dense.

And no, pieces of twice crit bonus doesn't count as X2 stat density, because optimized builds don't use both crit values.

Legendary Dig sites bugged?

Alliance change token issue?

Hi there,

So I've used an Alliance change token to move an AD character to DC. I made sure that no other AD characters were in Cyrodiil or homed to the main campaign. However, after using the token, it did change my faction and placed me in the major city as advertised, however it still states the campaign is locked for a further 27 days to AD.

Is this normal while the 12 hour wait occurs? or is this broken?

Hey all. A few questions. I just found out that changing a campaign resets your rank , so i wasted about 2 hours of grinding on my stamplar.

1. Is there a difference between how much AP one gains in CP and NO cp campaign?
2. Whats the fastest way to get to Tier one "solo"? During primetime my skills dont go off, so i can only play during the early hours when almost nobody is online. Farming resources?

Any tips in general as to how to farm to Tier 1 as fast as possible?

Midnight Barrow. (Multiple bugs!)

Up in the north west corner of the barrow, I couldn't attack any of the spawning Draugr who were crawling out of their niches in the walls, but they could definitely attack me. Some of the Archer Draugr were also firing arrows at me through the walls. Multiple walls actually. All I could do is run around a few corners until they stopped chasing me. That worked. Also, I abandoned the Prisoner of the Past quest because I picked up all four ancestral items that belonged to the Jarl, but somehow it only counted 3, so the quest wasn't progressing. I abandoned the quest and hopefully I can finish it some other day. If I encounter anything else I'll make sure to report it as best I can.

Is there going to be an Elsweyr collectors pack coming to the crown store?

To begin, here is a description from elderscrollsonline.info of how mega server was described back in 2014 :
What is MegaServer?

Megaserver is a new scaling server technology that allows to house all players on one server but in different worlds. The main feature of the technology is flexibility. It allows to maintain the same amount of players in a particular “world”.

It is not one server. No, it is group of servers with modern hardware that work together. ZeniMax does not tell details about how Mega Server works. It is their secret and we will be able to see everything with our own eyes. Developers say that MegaServer uses all modern server technologies and innovations.
The idea sounds great but I think ZOS struggled with this and quite abandoned this functionality while having to keep only one server (still very big) to not force players to split.

The following quote makes me think the scaling technology is not working as it should.
The PC-EU server is our most popular and highest population server and also has more condensed prime time hours compared to the North American servers (mostly due to time zones). Prime time is also earlier than in North America, so on launch days like today, our European players are usually the first to encounter and call out issues.

There are also game changes that makes me think that way. Remember back in the days, there were minor issues where you called for help to kill a world boss in the zone chat, a player came to help, killed the boss and you didn't see him and the boss is still alive. This was caused because those players were in different server instances. I did not see that happening for a long time. Now, it is common to see areas so overcrowded that it is not fun to play (think about Alik'r dolmens where there are so many people that boss is killed before touching the ground) and causing lag.

I don't know if ZOS removed this technology or reworked it another way so the minor issue as above doesn't happen anymore but I very much prefer this issue than overcrowded places and lag.

Need advice from regular crate gamblers

Okay.. so a dumb story. I like using game microtransactions as little mini rewards for keeping the chain going on new habits in real life. The game and company that previously benefited from this turned south, and with my new found love of eso, decided to do the unimagineable and bought 4 gambling crates.

It turned out a very interesting experience... opening them up i was so dismayed by what i got.. both the gem count (i only did this because i wanted the hackysack emote from the gloomspore crates, and figured id get the gems by doing it.. but its only 3 gems per crate.. no way im paying that much for an emote). Anyway.. it was completely woeful... until the very last card of the 4th crate. It turned out to be a mount from the one less than apex (legendary?) and it also was the same kind as i always use. My jaw dropped and i was so happy.

So.. before i do this again, i have no doubt there's a very elaborate gambling engine that drives the drops, same as with loot etc, to make it do exactly what some psychologist probably states is the best way to get people to do it again. My question for the regular gamblers would be.. how does this engine work? Was what happened to me actually chance? Does it make sure that you always get something good out of a set of crates? Do the good times last a bit longer before they give you nothing once they believe you're addicted so you just get more thinking about the last good thing you got?

If its dumb and they make sure they look after you after every set, i'll probably get more.. but if its any worse than that as far as gambling algorithim goes, i'll just set it aside for more months of eso plus or find something else.
