Master Writs - Disappointing Rewards

I read a provisioning master writ and have been holding out on buying the recipe. Jugged Rabbit In Preserves.

I costs anything up to 100K. It's a lot of money to spend on a recipe but what didn't help is that I read the writ without looking first so didn't know how many vouchers it was worth.

Over time I've scouted guild stores for it but not found it. Over the weekend a buddy of mine in my guild got it and threw it up in guild chat for 80K. I figured what the heck, i'll buy it. Helps me out, helps him out, right.

I done the writ, handed it in. My reward?...2 vouchers. Regents and runes for alchemy and enchanter writs aren't that expensive in order to complete those writs. But tri stat recipes are very expensive.

The least they could do is reward those master writ completions more vouchers, considering the impact it can have on peoples banks.

Who are the Reborn?
We are a small group of people from all over the world who found each other in ESO and became a close-knit community because of our similar play-/lifestyles and in-game goals.
Most of us are in our thirties, have a family, a household and/or job, so it does happen once and a while we need to have a nice tea-party mid-dungeon because someone is called away on kid-, cat-, or dog-duties.
We have an exemplary knowledge base for all classes, expert crafters in our midst and a good lot of helping hands whenever you might need one.
Our little community is active on Discord rather than in-game chat, so joining our Discord channel is mandatory if you want to join in for guild events, dungeon-runs and trials, and of course we’d love you to stay for the chitchat!

What are we looking for in our members?
• Social, active people, whether you are new to the game or a first-day veteran!
• A friendly and mature attitude towards others, willing to help and become a family
• A strong wish to become better, to achieve more and sharing those achievements with your fellow guild members

Like a never ending horde with random boss fights and the difficulty increases or amount of ads/bosses or difficulty of ads/bosses. I'm talking a never ending one that people can always go back in with intentions of progressing there way up leaderboards. You could even have group buffs like maelstrom and make it so you can run solo or up to 24 man groups. PLEASE PLEASE ZOS THIS WOULD COMPLETE ME!!!!!!!!

Restart from Step 1

The only thing that changes is the amount of heavy attacks you do. If you used Ballista only do 2 heavy attacks. If you didn't use it, then do 3 heavy attacks.

Questions:

1. Why Velidreth?

Kragh offers the highest damage gain in groups where full target penetration is not achieved, because the 1 piece on it is the strongest one-piece for a stam user to have and offers a 2.97% DPS increase on a non fully penetrated target. Velidreth however works best if full penetration is achieved. In addition its proc hits certain enemies (Manticora is an example) multiple times. My raid group will be running an optimized buff system so im running Veli...if there are no penetration cap then Kragh is BiS for most fights.

2. Why TFS and NMG?

Penetration is the best damage buffing stat to use when building a character. In a non optimized raid those two sets will perform best. Should your group already run NMG your options open up quite a bit, but are all reliant on what gear is available to you. Vicious Ophidian, Hundings Rage, Leviathan and Sunderflame are all Viable options, the trick is to be aware of how to optimize and not go over the penetration cap. Below is a list of all the possible debuffs a group can have up, keep in mind that during a trial you most likely will not have a 100% uptime on every single of these, so try to pen cap yourself with that expectation.

3. Why Warrior Mundus?

Warrior seems to be coming out on top for most stam builds in this DLC. By slotting Dawnbreaker on the front bar we are getting around 552 weapon damage from that Mundus, which is quite a large chunk of our dps. Our crit is too high to take advantage of the Thief stone and too low to make Shadow Mundus be better than Warrior. Lover is a choice to run, but the DPS gain from warrior is almost exactly the same and if you have buff sets in a raid Lover quickly loses its power.

4. Why double dagger?
Proc rate for the Axe passive is too low to warrant using it, and daggers scale better with raid buffs.

5. Why Nirn Bow?

Since we are shooting for a pen capped scenario we have infused/nirn and precise to choose from. Precise is nice but Nirn is a lot better. Nirn not only increases the base of your Hail damage, it also buffs your weapon by 200 wep damage which is huge for all your skills. Running Nirn allows your hail to start ticking and go through the lower part of its damage buffed, once you bar swap, the Infused trait off the main hand takes over and gives your Hail a higher ceiling to reach.

6. Why Ballista and not Rend?

Rend outparses Ballista by a few hundred (300) DPS, however the loss of Flawless on the front bar is a much bigger DPS loss. I use rend on fights like the Fabrication Comittee where multiple bosses are present, but Ballista is better overall. Especially when combined with the Warrior Mundus, Flawless front bar becomes a must.

Skyshards, Lorebooks and Destinations: Improves or Destroys Exploration?

So I'm playing the game like a bit of a traditional TES game: something like 80% PVE / 20% PVP (only level 45 MagSorc at moment), enjoying the scenery and stories and starting to dabble more and more in the PVP side of things (Battlegrounds are fun and finally starting to understand Cyrodiil thank the maker!). I love exploration, but I find myself lacking in skill points a little (for new PVP worthy skills and crafting which I enjoy), but don't want to wreck my 'feel of exploration' experience in-game. I also am semi-RP'ing as a Mages Guild up and coming member...so those lorebook numbers wouldn't hurt either for boosting my MG level...

My question is, do adding these add-ons improve or destroy the 'sense of wonder' and exploration for you in ESO, and do you think if I go down this rabbit hole, I could be possibly be ruining the game for myself? Once I start using the add-on, I probably would find it too useful to turn off knowing myself...but then again, maybe I'm best not to install it in the first place?

If skills ever gain additional morphs (which will likely happen prior to any kind of spell creation/martial training), what kind of morphs would you like to see?

These are meant to be additional (3rd) morphs.
Here are some of my own:
Nightblade
Assassination
Death Stroke -> Ravage
-Increases the damage bonus against the target by 10% 5%

Assassin's Blade -> Shadowed Blade (Magicka)
-This ability now applies the bonus damage while attacking from stealth as well

Teleport Strike -> Blink
-No longer targets an enemy or deals damage, instead teleports the player to a selected location, can be used while in stealth.

Blur -> Shifting Aegis
-Grants a small damage shield upon activation

Mark Target -> Mark of Bloodthirst
-Mark applies minor life-steal on the target.

Grim Focus -> Endless Focus
-No longer applies Minor Berserk, but reapplies at no cost with each cast of Assassin's Will

Shadow
Consuming Darkness -> Sudden Darkness
-All enemies within the radius when cast are blinded for 3 seconds (miss all attacks)

Veiled Strike -> Deadly Strike
-Now deals bonus damage when attacking from stealth or while invisible

Shadow Cloak -> Elusive Cloak
- Grants Major Expedition for 2 seconds after use

Path of Darkness -> Darkened Path
- enemies damage by the path are slowed by 40% for 3 seconds

Aspect of Terror -> Painful Memories
-Converts to a single target ability, 10m range
-When the Fear ends, a shade spawns near the enemy and taunts the target

Summon Shade -> Summon Tormented Ghost
-Summon the spirit of a slain victim, whose basic attacks deal [x] damage (scales with max magicka) and will periodically throw out immobilizing whirlwinds

Siphoning
Soul Shred - >Soul Burst
Deals increased Damage but no longer stuns

Strife -> Consume
-Increases the % health conversion to 35%

Agony -> Shared Pain
-If Agony has been active for at least 10 seconds, it deals [x] damage and spreads to another nearby enemy (Max 3 occurrences)

Cripple - > Draining Grasp
-Applies minor Magickasteal on the enemy

Siphoning Strikes -> Consuming Aura
-When damaged by a magicka attack, regain [x] magicka, when damaged by a stamina attack, regain [x] stamina

Drain Power - Rend Essence
-Increases the damage done

Dragonknight Standard -> Erupting Standard
-The standard now erupts from the ground, knocking enemies into the air and stunning them for 2 seconds

Lava Whip -> Caustic Whip
-Changes to a stamina based ability and deals poison damage
-Fling a caustic solution from your pores that reacts more strongly against poisoned targets
-Deals additional damage to poisoned targets (10% at rank IV)

Searing Strike -> Immolating Strike
-Increase the initial Flame Damage

Fiery Breath -> Fiery Shout
-Reduces the damage of the Damage over time but increases the Initial Damage done

Fiery Grip -> Reaching Anchor
-Immobilizes the enemy once the initial effect ends.

Inferno -> Updraft
-Grants Minor Expedition for the duration

Draconic Power
Dragon Leap -> Infernal Landing
-Creates a 6.5m radius fiery zone that deals [x] damage per second for 6 seconds

Spiked Armor -> Hardened Skin
-Changes to a Stamina based ability
-Grants minor protection for the duration

Dark Talons -> Sharp Talons
-Increases the Physical damage done

Dragon Blood -> Dragon's Constitution
-Changes to a stamina based ability

Reflective Scales -> Absorbing Scales

-Now only reduces incoming damage by an additional 30%, but you deal higher AoE flame damage per sec over a larger radius

-If the target is stunned, deal an additional 50% damage

-Allies can activate the Collapse Synergy, which consumes the Nova but deals a significantly increased amount of synergy damage

Solar Flare -> Sun Spot
-Now Targets an AoE (5m radius)

Backlash -> Retribution
-Increases the Maximum damage, but reduces the active time

Eclipse -> Singularity
-reduces the move-speed of the enemy by 30%

Radiant Destruction -> Overflowing Destruction
-Deals 30% of the damage to two nearby enemies

Rite of Passage -> Ceremonial Passage

-Reactivate again at 150 Ultimate to call upon the Lesser Atronach to use Shocking Torrent, sending a wave of electricity along the ground dealing [x] Shock damage to enemies that are in its path.

Unstable Familiar -> Volatile Banekin
-Summons a Banekin who runs at the targeted enemy and explodes, dealing [x] shock damage in a radius
-Becomes Instant-cast

Daedric Curse -> Spreading Curse
-Infects one nearby enemy with Daedric Curse upon detonation

Summon Winged Twilight - Lesser Grievous Twilight
-Summons a smaller Grievous Twilight
-Activate to have the Grievous Twilight swap positions with you

Conjured Ward - Fractured Ward
- Has lower Scalings
- When broken deals [x] AoE Magic damage

Bound Armor -> Bound Conduit (kinda... unsure about this one)
- While active, increases the amount of Lightning and Physical Damage you do by 5%

Negate Magic - Expanded Field
-Increases the Radius by 2m

Crystal Shards - Crystal Lance (Think uppercut but crystal formed around the player's arm thrust foreward)
- Stamina Morph (Uninterruptible)

- Applies Major Fracture (and still stuns)

Encase - Reaching Shards
-Increases the immobilization Duration to 9 seconds

Rune Prison - Crushing Prison
-Once the effect ends, the enemy is snared and dealt [x] magic damage

Dark Exchange -> Dark Pact (seems... Op)
-Toggle
-Increase your Max Magicka by [x], but decrease your Max Health by [y]

Daedric Mines -> Daedric Bomb
- Only one mine is spawned beneath you
- Deals more damage and knocks-up and stuns for 2 seconds.

Storm Calling
Overload -> Power Spike
-Instant Cast Ultimate (no 3rd bar)
-Deals [x] AoE Shock damage around you

Mage's Fury -> Mage's Rage
-No longer deals execute damage
-Has higher Base Damage

Lightning Form -> Surge of Lightning
-The initial cast deals [x] shock damage in a radius

Lightning Splash - Thunderous Lightning
-The initial Tick stuns non-player enemies for 2 seconds.

Surge -> Surging Movement
-Gain Minor Expedition for the duration

Bolt Escape -> Bolt Traversal
-extends the radius at which this skill can be cast to

Warden:
Winter's Embrace
Sleet Storm -> Conjured Storm
-Also summons an Ice Wraith for 30 seconds whose attacks chill damaged enemies.

Frost Cloak -> Glacial Cloak
-Enemies who damage you or affected allies are slowed by [x]% for 4 seconds

Impaling Shards -> Freezing Needles
-Stamina Based
-Reduced Cost
-Increased Damage
-No longer damage over time
-Flex and break forth shards of ice from your skin

Arctic Wind -> Fierce Winds
- Up to [x] melee attackers are knocked back when they damage you while this ability is active.

Crystallized Shield -> Crystallized Aegis
-No longer absorbs projectiles, but grants a damage shield and slows melee attackers by 20%

Frozen Gate - Frozen Mine
-Instead of teleporting an enemy, when an enemy runs over it, it detonates and deals [x] Frost Damage

Green Balance
Secluded Grove -> Reaching Taproot
-Summons one sprigan for the duration who heals an ally outside the radius for [x] over 6 seconds. An ally can activate the Reaching Root synergy to be pulled to the spriggan.

Fungal Growth - Fungal Spores
- Now heals for an additional [x] over [y] seconds

Healing Seed - Growing Seed
-Each second heals a small amount

Living Vines - Barbed Vines
-For 10s, any enemy who melee attacks the healed ally is dealth [x] Physical Damage

Lotus Flower -> Refreshing Lotus
-Grants the Caster Major Fortitude, Increasing Health regen for 20 seconds

Nature's Grasp -> Nature's Allure
- No longer pulls you to the ally, but the ally can activate a synergy to pull themselves to you

Animal Companion
Feral Guardian -> Ferocious Guardian
-Bear Ult is now AoE Magic Damage and fears up to two nearby enemies

Dive -> Slam
-Command a Cliff Strider to land at the targeted location, knocking up enemies

Scorch -> Prolonged Assault
-One damaged enemy has the Emerge Synergy placed on them, an ally can activate this to summon a shalk to fight for you

Swarm -> Living Hive
-Scales with Max HP
-While Slotted, Melee Attackers take [x] Magic Damage, Ranged Attackers take [y] Damage

Betty Netch - Betty Matron
-Grants Minor Vitality for the Duration

Falcon's Swiftness -> Hawk's Dive
-Gain Minor Expedition for 10 seconds as well

Blood Altar -> Verdant Altar
-No longer applies Minor Lifesteal, but Applies Minor Staminasteal

-Increases the Magic Damage done per second

Mist Form -> Shifting Mist
-Mist form Lasts for only 1 second
-Teleported to target area (think Sorc Bolt Escape)

Hypnotic Gaze (Magicka)
- Disorient an enemy for 20 seconds

Hypnotic Gaze -> Stunning Gaze
- Stuns for 2 seconds, rather than a Disorient, and deals [x] Magic Damage

Hypnotic Gaze -> Charming Gaze
- Applies minor maim on the target for 10 seconds after the disorient ends

Hypnotic Gaze -> Fearsome Gaze
- Fears target for 4 seconds

Bloodied Ground (Magicka)
-Spawn a pool of blood at a target area, dealing [x] Disease Damage every second for 10 seconds

Fighters Guild:
Dawnbreaker - Everlasting Dawn
Arm yourself with dawnbreaker, whose light attacks consume [x] ultimate and deal [y] Physical Damage. Heavy attacks deal [z] Physical Damage in a cone and consume [n] ultimate.

Silver Bolts - Holy Bolts
Deals %[x] extra damage to Undead and Daedra. (Stacks with Passive)

Circle of Protection - Last Resort
If an enemy enters the circle, it detonates, knocking back enemies and dealing [x] magic Damage in a radius.

Expert Hunter - Hidden Hunter
No longer reveals enemies, but when cast will stealth you for 4 seconds as long as there are no enemies within 6m of you.

Trap Beast - Trap Satchel
Can place up to three different Traps.

As a solo player I have only 1 friend in my list. So coming upon a quest that requires a group before you can finish is a bit(?) restrictive. As with many other dungeons I think ques should be included in all quests as I am sure many solo players want to finish their quests instead of abandoning them. And surely there are a lot of solo players out there and it would behoove Bethesda to help out their solo guests. Having come upon this situation several times, it seems some corrections need to be addressed.

If you were to pick one and just ONE house, which one would it be? Think about the most practical in terms of access to crafting stations, outlaw refuges, wayshrines, and that sort of thing, not in terms of decoration.

Has anyone else had items disappear when exchanging with the bank?

Ive lost 120 rubedo leather the other day. I pulled it out of my guild bank. And poof!!! Gone. Even says i pulled it out in the history but its gone. Now today i was swapping illabris helms on my bank toon. And my Freaking medium divines DISAPPEARS!!!! Its gone!!! Was pulling it out of the banker and its gone. Not in the inventory or the bank!!!

Anyone else having this issue?

Hello ppl! As the title says, here is my endeavor at creating a build video for magicka nightblade for HotR patch!

Its a simple but well rounded build with the potential to reach 52K max mag. I included time stamps if you want to see buffed up stats first hand!

I will also discuss amberplasm vs seducer, their different applications cuz Ive seen many ppl say how good or bad seducer is compared to amber, I give my take on both in this,

Also discussing necropotence set, many think its horrible after the nerf but I think this build utilizes it in a great way!

And talking a little bit about weapon traits and mundus stones and how they can go together! If you are a pro some stuff might seem pretty obvious but keep in mind that after years of sharpened being BiS, now many want to know whats best to run, so I talk a bit about that too, go in a bit more details in the description since I didn't want the vid to be too long.

Widespread Cheating in Cyrodiil Lately

Day after day I see enemy players walk up to a door and use it successfully to enter a keep... Talk about blatant and open Cheat Engine usage!

I understand that this may be some sort of server desync, but it is beyond frustrating to hit players in the back with a crystal frag, and instead of simply being knocked down, they slide on their face right up the stairs, cracking their head on every step on the way up, and make it right through the keep postern door to safety. Or more commonly, the people who appear to dodge roll through the door in a clean motion.

Meanwhile I shield up, drop an immovable potion, sheath my weapon in advance, and then stare like a f***ing moron at the door mashing the use button, praying to Akatosh for a swift entry before getting gunned down 2-15 complete seconds later by 4 incaps, 3 dragon leaps , 2 wreaking blows, 1 Soul Assault, and a light attack for good measure.

Is there a simple trick for using the door successfully, or is door usage implemented by the same geniuses that implemented the RNG loot table for vMA?

This is my current Magicka Warden build. By no means am I sweaty enough to min/max every little mathematical detail, but it works well for 1vX scenarios in open world and I have a lot of fun with it. Great sustain and good burst.

Gear

5 Shacklebreaker (Set allows you to run Witchmother having good stam regen and adds to our Magicka pool)
5 Necro (The peanut butter to Magicka Warden's jelly)
2 Blood Spawn (Great Ult regen and increased tankiness) Engine Guardian could work here. Skoria would be great burst when or if they fix Fletcher as a DoT and not direct damage.

2 Shacklebreaker Swords (Sharpened PreHorns, Nirn or Precise PostHorns)
3 Light Shacklebreaker Body (Impen, Mag Enchants)
2 Light Necro Body (Impen, Mag Enchants)
3 Necro Jewelry (1 Spell Reduction, 2 Mag Recovery)
1 Light Bloodspawn Helm (Infused, Mag Enchant)
1 Light Bloodspawn Shoulder (Divines, Mag Enchant)
1 Maelstrom Restoration Staff (Decisive/Powered/Precise/Defending)

Of course you can do 5/1/1 for for max H/S/M with Undaunted passives, but this is a newer character that does not have them yet.
In addition, my stat sheet is with 6L 1H, 5 Impen, 1 Divines (Heavy Head), 1 Infused (Light Shoulders) and everything purple except for the weapons which are gold.

1: Screaming Cliff Racer (Bread and Butter Spammable)
2: Deep Fissure (Stun and Burst)
3: Fletcher Infection (DoT, Added Pressure, Direct Damage)
4: Inner Light (5% Max Magicka *+2% Max and 2% Regen w/ passives, Spell Crit, Stealth Pull)
5: Blue Betty (+20% Spell Damage, Magicka Regen, Pet)
Ult: Northern Storm (8% Max Magicka)

Restoration Bar
1: Dampen Magicka (Almost 10k Tooltip Shield in Cyro)
2: Leeching Vines (Heal, Lifesteal) *You can also slot Corrupted Pollen, Shimmering Shield or even Rapid Regen to work with Maelstrom Resto*
3: Ice Fortress (Major Resolve, Major Ward, Minor Protection)
4: Healing Ward (Shield, Heal)
5: Bird of Prey (Major Expedition *Movement*, Major Endurance, Minor Beserk)
Ult: Enchanted Forest (Cheap Heal, Ult Regen)

Food/Mundus

Witchmother's Brew or TriStat if you can't manage stamina.
Atronach for Bloodspawn or Shadow for Engine Guardian

Daedric Prince Statues

Okay ZOS, we've had a statue of Vivec, one of Clavicus Vile, and even one of Hircine. Just how long are you gonna make us wait for a statue of the glorious Vaermina "Weaver of the Panoply"? I think Azura was just datamined for the next Crown Crates set, and that's fine and all, but Vaermina is the only other statue my character needs in his house (aside from [but not in the same house] Hermaeus Mora). I would sub just for that, thanks.

Is Emperor still "sold" on PC/NA at this point?
