We are a Midnight/Aussie Trial Guild with a Split Focus on Casual and Vet Progression Trial Runs. Runs are scheduled AFTER MIDNIGHT AND 2AM Central US time!!!!

We have semi open recruiting for the normal trial players so no requirements besides being available at our times.


The Core Runs will have plenty of substitutes because of the time period so don't be afraid to try and join.(Iwill help teach rotations if you don't hit) 30k+ Dps Requirement with your corresponding major penetration de-buff. Tanks and Healers will be picked for Core Based off of your previous experience and current capability, as perceived by me or one of the Core Officers. (Vdsa Complete Would be Great) If you don't meet these requirements but your still interested Im always willing to work with new endgame players so lmk please!

Looking forward to helping new raiders get their feet in the door to end-game, and starting some fun progression runs with our m8s across the Pacific!

Twenty-One Void is an active trials guild looking for more active members.
We run both normal and veteran trials throughout the week.

Normal trials typically take place on the weekends and we run veteran trials Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays anytime between 7:30pm- 10pm.

Since way back when housing was first being tested on the test server, I wanted nothing but the Grand Topal Hideaway for a house. I actually went away a while hoping I'd come back to play again and it would finally be released in game. Sadly it was released in game, for 5 days only and then was gone.

It's coming up on 7 months since it was briefly available. Could we please get this back in the store soon? I guess you all could be waiting for a year to pass to be dramatic and silly, but it would be great if it was available sometime pretty soon again...

It also would be nice if it could permanently remain in the store - but if not you should give people plenty of early warning that it's coming back before it does so people who can't just grab the 15,000 crowns immediately could have a little time to get them and know when they'll be needing them.

OMG im so tyred of 1 sec DPS to 0 HP in this META impenetrable and sustain. If you have no sustain m8 you suck. in 80% you will suck as much as you can. pls FIX your PVP. Im not the only one who tyred. Is this normal in pvp? when you stand, play and then bazinga, you died. normal? ye?

Do you play a Magicka Dragonknight? Do you want something else than the usual 5 BSW/ 4 Aether/ 2 Grothdarr/ 1 vMA Inferno Setup and still be raidmaterial?

Then this guide is for you! The Goal of this Build is to provide strong DPS on a Dragonknight while using shock and fire damage and Heavy Attacks with a Lightning Staff. I’ve tried several builds that use lightning staff heavy attacks on a DK, and while they are very survivable, sustainable and very easy to play, the single target DPS mostly suffered and I’ve never managed to get past the 30k sustained single target DPS parse (selfbuffed).

This build does exactly that while using only AoE skills, and in the right hands and raid setup, it can surpass 40k Single target DPS easily while giving your group a lot of utility that Dragonknights have. I’ve had a breeze in vDSA (currently #30 PC EU, 45234 score) and every vet trial with this, including vHoF, vMoL and Craglorn Hardmode Trials, no death runs for the Hist-Dungeons etc. I even got the Duelist Title with the vMA version.This build is flexible to the extent that you can do both a Melee or Ranged Version, depending on what you are assigned to within your group or what the dungeon or fight requires you to do. For solo play, the build requires minor tweaks, but I added a vMA build for people who'd like to get their safe weekly and the DK flawless conqueror as easy as possible.

Let's go through the advantages and disadvantages that this build has:

Selfbuffed Stats:

See listed below under the respective Setup Section.

Race:

Altmer or Dunmer. Dunmer gets 3% more out of the fire abilities than Altmer, and Altmer gets 2% more out of the shock abilities, so it doesn't make that much of a difference. I prefer Altmer for the regen and 1% more max magicka, plus you get better results in vMA and you have enough stamina due to undaunted infiltrator. Everything else is a DPS loss, after those two, Breton would be third.

Gear:

To understand the nature of heavy attacks, it is important to know that the Flat Damage Buff of the vMA lightning Staff Buffs every Tick of Lightning Staff Heavy Attacks and adds like 5k DPS to the Build. In HotR, multiple Combinations of Trait, 5-piece set and Mundus Stone became viable, so I'll list the two best ones i found via testings below:

Combination #1 (Julianos+Infallible Aether):

This one is Basic, unconditional Damage that gives the highest upfront burst and consistent damage. I prefer this for vMA and DSA.



Combination #2 (Burning Spellweave + Martial Knowledge):

This one is the highest Damage overall due to the additional Burning effect you get from BSW adn the additional spell damage from Martial Knowledge is just as good as the Minor Slayer, but it has a proc based set in it. So for example in vMA or DSA, i often only use Blockade and heavy Attacks to kill low health mobs and BSW will not proc often enough to justify it.

Basically, all combinations of these 4 Sets will do fine for you, easiest to get will certainly be Julianos+Martial Knowledge, as you dont have to farm a bit for it and the Staffs can be bought.

As far as the Mundus Stone is concerned, you will want to choose either the Lover or the Apprentice, based on the spell penetration level you have available to you.

The Key here is the Synergy between Off-balance and Flame Lash. Flame Lash hits like a truck, heals you Back to full immediately and is FREE to cast against offbalance enemies. So only cast it when it procs, put Burning embers on another enemy. No other heals needed in vMA. If you want to learn the Arena i still recommend the above setup as it's easier to play.

You can put all you want on the flex spots, I like to have a shield ready on the main bar and chains on the back bar to help chain in adds, but you could also put mages guild skills there to get additional max magicka. I use Thunderous Rage, as it is the most powerful DPS-Ultimate right now and got buffed by ~2.5%. I mostly weave in light DW attacks right before going back to th front bar to activate your SD/Crusher glyphs and thus empower the first 1 1/2 heavy attacks and blockade with it.

Lets go through possible skills you could put on the flex spots:

Dampen Magic: Strong shield, your emergency button i case you don't trust your group enough to go without shield.

Harness Magicka: Weaker than Dampen Magic, but helpful when you get a lot of elemental damage in.

Unrelenting Grip: In any case you have a non-dk tank (without swarmmother) or just have a lot of ranged trash to chain in.

Elemental Drain: In case the healer doesn't run it, you can put this on your front bar.

Scalding rune: Procs Illambris' fire version, but is not as good as eruption.

Dragonscales: Cool when you have a lot of ranged things that can't all be taunted by your tank.



CP Setup

The 75 Points in Thaumaturge make room for the exploiter passive, that grants us 10% damage on EVERYTHING when the enemy is off balance. The Destro Ultimate concusses enemies and Elemental Blockade sets them off balance, so you can use the combination to get another 10% damage while the destro ultimate is active+70% more heavy attack damage against off balance enemies, plus the 10% for the time when blockade/illambris concuss enemies. Due to the heavy attack return, i use 34 points in Tenacity to unlock the windrunning passive for 2% more runnign speed and the sustain is awesome.

Rotation:

The Rotation is as easy as effective: Find someone to guard, Magicka DDs like the free minor force.


Due to the 39s duration of Molten Armaments, you only need to recast it every two full rotation cycles.

Throw in your Ultimate (Meteor/Thunderous Rage/Standard of Might) between the second and third heavy attack when it is ready.

Eruption, meteor, Burning Embers and engulfing flames proc the fire version of Illambris, while your heavies, thunderous rage and blockade proc the lightning version, so you get a great uptime on both, especially with a few adds to bosses around.

Keep in mind that these are Robust target dummy parses. I can get more on a normal one, but i usually test on the big one so one can see the consistent base DPS that you can get in trials and factor in Sustain rather then a bursty 3m parse.



Keep in mind that every single ability and attack except burning embers is full aoe here, and that i suck at remembering rotations and screwed them up quite often.

An issue that this build has is blockcasting. E.g. In vHRC, I usually have between 39k and 43k dps until the starburst phase kicks in, and you can't blockcast heavy attacks, so the dmg drops significantly when you can't channel. Same holds for the ground atronach in vAA.

If you want to try it out, I recommend farming the lamia boss with the pet snake (slikhlenia or something) in arx corinium for sweetsong, a unique precise sword of the undaunted infiltrator, then farming the first boss for legs and a unique necklace and then going for a ring of the set in chests.

There is a lot of hate and anger towards the crown crates right now as they are pretty much a scam with the current RNG rates. I won't even try and argue that because it's basically true, sorry ZoS. But allow me to share a something I heard from a tour guide that came from the founder of one of the media's biggest companies; Walt Disney once operated on the idea that if you treat your costumers well, they will keep coming back for more. If you cheat or mistreat them, you'll never see a dime from them again.

And there is some truth in this. I have spent substantially less on the game recently, though I must say CWC was some of the best stuff I've seen in game (with the exception of vAS, that trial is hardly worth calling a trial). Other's are spending less too, we still spend some because we like the game and want it to do well, but you will get more, if you don't *** people off. Good luck.

My first idea is to have a quest where players who want to defeat the 10 Dolmens there. It can be a group quest where the Dolmens become more difficult as you complete more of the Dolmens. While on this quest you can't attack or be attacked by players from the three alliances. It could be a Fighters Guild quest. Any other ideas for Cyrodiil?

So i would like to share something that happen few days ago

So there i was qued up for VWGT as DPS , after the 3rd boss somebody left and we had this 3 people a Argonian temp healer cp 180, tank 460, and a DPS cp 300 or so.

Due to people not having mic we got killed few times and then that is when it started the leader was cp 300 and he wanted to kick out the healer to which i declined and after 2 times we got killed we got on the mic and managed to finish it, we got to the last boss and things just went down hill, the Cp 300 dps was a leader every time he died and 80% of times he was first to go down kept on saying ohh great i died again , healer didn't do his job again , tank is not doing what he is supposed to do ohh we died again look at that ... why do i bother playing, i hate this i hate that over and over and over again when its his fault as he is getting killed and we try to ress him we get killed because of him .... it gets to you

Now after 40 min of trying to finish the boss and hearing all the negativity ALL the time like and i mean ALL THE TIME , it came to the point where the tank had to go and it was 3 of us , the cp 300 tried to kick the temp many times and they started fighting via text

Cp 300 kept on trying to kick the healer to which i declined, i asked the CP 300 the leader ... get us in que so we can get a new player... cps 300 said " not until we get rid of this !@#$ healer until he is gone im not going to que us in ... i can wait here all night i don't care and you can #$%# off as well if you don't kick him out i don't care i can wait " and i heard TV going on in the background .... i whisper that to the temp ... the temp said "its ok buddy i will go so you can finish this ".."i replied back i don't need to finish it i got close every monster mask i need but you dont" .. so there we were waiting for 10 min .. and still listening to cp 300 been negative and blaming others and healer... so ive done something i didn't do in a very very long time... i voted to kick him off and we did..

after few min later we got people joining and leaving we got 1 DPS after 15 min the same guy CP 300 joined !!.... and it was like nope ,no i can't deal with his negativity again so i kicked him out again and another DPS joined and we finished it like a hot knife thought butter.

After all this i spoken to templer and he was happy he got to finish the VWGT for the first time as he was only playing for a month and a bit , i gave him some pointers and crafted him full julianos set in light purple and made him destro and resto all in Hollowjack Motif staff no charge , LOL never seen/ heard somebody so happy in my life.

My question is has anybody else came across negative people that just do your head in?

How ZOS could incorporate IC into the base game, not upset anybody, and MAKE money doing it

Just make three simple announcements together:

Step 1: Announce that IC is going to be incorporated into the base game in 6 month's time, at which point all players will have access to the Imperial City and everything currently included in the DLC, and district flag objectives will be incorporated into the Cyrodiil campaign scores.

Step 2: Announce that all players who currently own the IC DLC and all those who purchase it with Crowns before it is incorporated into the base game -- in 6 month's time -- will receive an Imperial City Collector's Bundle containing the following cosmetic vanity items:
  • A trove scamp non-combat pet which glows white-gold just like the ones in the sewers.
  • A flesh atronach skin/polymorph. Wrap existing in-game textures around my character and make her look gross af.

Step 3: Announce that all players who currently own the IC DLC and all those who purchase it with Crowns -- in the next month after making this announcement -- receive:
  • A full-sized Crematorial Guard Daedroth mount. You ride on its shoulders, and its idle "spacebar" animation is breathing fire.
  • A Malazuhad district lich boss target centurion to place in our houses!

Note that ESO+ members receive nothing. You must own the DLC by having purchased it with Crowns before either deadline.

Yea, watch as everyone scrambles to buy the DLC in the first month after the announcement is made. IC is my favorite DLC, and I don't even own it, but I'd be the first to do so! These models and textures are also already all in the game. The dev time to create the new artifacts is minimal, and who's going to complain about any of this?

A recipe for incorporating our favorite old school DLCs into the base game as time passes, while making money on each one's last hurrah. You're welcome, ZOS.

Werewolf Improvements Please

Can player Werewolves please get some love? Their animations need work as does their appearance. The black Werewolf should be SOLID black, what's with the white on the hands and face?

Werewolves should not be plodding like an ape when they walk, but rather move smooth and graceful. Their block and interrupt animations are a bad joke. They have no other animations to speak of at all, you type /(anything) and nothing happens. The way they swing their paws when attacking looks like an ape, again. Werewolves are NOT apes! What's with the big flat tails? Wolves don't have tails like that. And their heavy attack should be a lunging bite not that absurd double slap.

It really feels and looks like Werewolves were half done at best then forgotten.

It's a friendly insight to see how tolerable we are about people stacking up on a different faction in the same campaign to prevent the other faction to get second place, for example. They may do it so after a period of time or if they spend AP to jump from a faction A to a faction B, using the same account in the same PvP campaign.

New List of Garbage Sets

These are 5 pc sets that are utterly useless and may as well be deleted from the game or at least have major overhauls as they are just cluttering up inventories and confusing new players.

Notes:

* All previous lists are outdated.
* Updated to include new sets and correct errors.
* Ease or difficulty of getting any set is NOT considered.
* PvP vs PvE is NOT considered as a set is bad if it's bad regardless.

Rules of Engagement:

* Include sets that are garbage in EVERY conceivable build.
* Include those that are SO situational as to be statistically worthless.
* If you think a set is NOT useless state why in as much DETAIL as possible.
* If another set can do the job better include subsequent sets here.
* If you make a convincing enough argument I will remove or edit entry.

1. Magicka Furnace (used to be OP now Useless mainly due to insanely long CD included in #6 listed here as an example)
2. Treasure Hunter (5 pc is easily gained from other sources)
3. Spelunker (to specialized and not even good in its specialty)
4. Noble Duelist (to inconsistent and awkward even for pvp)
5. All Undaunted sets besides MAYBE Bastion and Infiltrator (not monster helmet sets)
6. All MOST sets with a stated CD over 1 3 seconds, Izos promised no CD's when they pitched this years ago but w/e now that they are here to stay, they are all WAY to long to be viable for MOST sets (note the word MOST)
7. All the trails sets that are crappy versions of other trials set (like the set that is exactly like Vicious Ophidian but without the weapon damage on 5 piece)
8. Redistributor Set ...so if you heal yourself, and you are at full, you heal another person for a tiny amount, but only every 3 seconds...wtf? Who could possibly benefit from this?
9. Oblivions Foe Set : Your 5 piece makes a single power go from utter crap to barely useable
10. Daedric Trickery: most of the buffs are easily gotten elsewhere, and the ones that are not (like Major Protection) are going to happen 10 seconds out of 100 on average
11. Tormentor: The 5 piece is a taunt and some minuscule damage on a charge. Lols.
12. Prayer Shawl: tiny proc chance on a tiny shield with a long cooldown, what's not to love?
13. Crusader: Unless this is somehow useful in PvP, I cannot see how this would possibly we useful, even in the niche of roll dodge related sets it's dead last
14. Combat Physician: See prayer Shawl. Shield still pretty small, now only on crit
15. Toothrow: This is Treasure Hunter for Stam
16. Essence Thief: So good on paper, until you watch a video of how far away the essence balls fly from you and the boss
17. Hunt Leader: Pet set...but stam, and there are no stam pets. Oops.
18. Glorious Defender: Best case 1 dodge every 10 seconds. So many ways to gain Evasion, which will be vastly better. No reason to ever use this.
19. Hircines Veneer ... 12% Stam recovery is almost nothing, it ought to be changed to cost reduction, like worm and have a weapon damage instead of 2 regen.
20. Gossamer is another set, they just need to make these sort of sets proc at full health, might be useful then.
21. Way of Martial Knowledge ... the best case is an extra 2.5% damage, 4 second cool down is too much, ought to be 2.
22. Shalidors Curse Set Healing taken slots are a waste, the last thing you want to be doing when below 50% health is be light attacking to get a trickle of health back :/
23. Ysgramor's Birthright. 400 SD for cold abilities mainly bc its borked and doesn't proc off of half of the frost abilities, if this is "as intended" then "abilities" is far to ambiguous.
24. Sithis' Touch. Gain Major Berserk for 20 s after using Blade of Woe such a narrow use in IC and questionable if it is even better than other sets that work everywhere all the time.
25. Shalks Exoskeleton Set This is one of those borderline good sets but its in some kind of identity crisis. It wants to be a tank set.. sort of... with the heavy armor and health enchants and traits on jewelry, but then it gives TWO bonuses for SPELL casters. Give it Major Heroism and we'll talk.
26. Warrior-Poet utter garbage, even the worst tank set does it better.
27. Ice Furnace. Only procs off of direct ice damage abilities... so like 2 or 3 frost staff abilities and 0 Warden abilities...the 4th set item is increase in weapon damage...Basically useless unless you are running with Frost staff which is very underwhelming at this point.
28. Pelinal's Aptitude - It's just plain awkward, you have to jump through hoops to try and do what other sets do easily and better.

If you disagree, I don't mind, just do so civilly or I will ignore you.

+ Note, set % and amounts can be adjusted, no need for ANY CD's, also no need to make the damage dots.
