Whats the recommended minimum stamina for a stamblade?
- For gankplay
- For soloplay
- For foreplay sorry, couldn't resist
- For smallscale
- For largescale
I know a lot depends on resource management ability but is there a set amount of stamina that YOU wouldn't dip below? The same question could be asked of magblades but maybe a magblade might want a huge amount of magicka because of the cost of skills?

Stamina Sorc open world builds? Whats the "meta"?
Hey,
what do u guys run right now in open world?
So far what worked for me:
2h heavy builds
5x shackle
2x trollking
3x agility
2x trans SNB backbar
1x vsma/sanctum 2h
+golden food
Same with 7thegion
5heavy SNB
5x shackle
5x spriggan
2x trollking
1x vsma / sanctum back 2h
+golden food
What builds could I use for more DMG without lolsing too much regen (I play actually with 1k stam / 1k mag recovery) ?
I really like the wrothgar golden food, I dont need anything else in terms of regen with it.
Is the prisoners + 7th setup woth farming? I enjoy 2h mainbar more them SNB, but never really tried dw since I cant fit in a good stun, so maybe any1 have some advice here.
Of course, I also Trier the clever Alchemist setuos, but I dont like relying too much on drinking potions. I also considered truth, but since I play no CP most of the tine I cant see myself proccing it reliable.
So how do u guys on stam sorc this patch?

Rewards of Fighters' Guild Rep showing alongside experience rewards for kills - Bug or Enhancement ?
Since 3.3.1 I'm getting this every time I kill and undead:
![Fb77rO9.jpg]()
I guess it shows the award of one point of Fighters' Guild reputation for killing the undead. Killing a boss undead showed the number 5 next to the red question mark.
Is this intended? Will the red question mark be replaced by a proper icon?
When we hit level 10 in Fighters Guild skill line will these rewards stop showing?

Noob set for stamdk?
So my SO has recently gotten into ESO and she seems to enjoy PVE with a two-hander most, in medium armor. I don't play DK so I wouldn't mind some advice on a good, DPS-oriented and noob-friendly build for her. Something that would survive a dungeon but also dish out some decent damage. I was considering hundings with divine TBS but not sure if that would have enough survivability.

So what happened with the sweepstakes?

Winners were notified with in 48 hours, so I take it no one here won anything. But do we ever find out who the winners were?

My guild posted an offer too good to be true
So a guild I belong to just posted that anyone who messages a certain guild members (I won't use his or her name here) with a message saying "I consent to receive one year of eso plus, plus an extra 18,000 crowns" this apparently will be given by a gamemaster who has yet to join the guild. This feels like a scam and I'm wondering how do I report this?

The Assassin's Guide to Getting Away with Murder
The Assassin's Guide to Getting Away with Murder

This is Juniper, professional knife juggler.

This is Juniper, professional knife juggler.
If you've played the Dark Brotherhood DLC, you'll know that taking out contracts can be difficult. It can get you in trouble, you can get witnessed by someone who isn't even looking at you when you're clearly stealthed. You think 'By Sithis, how long will it take to get rid of this 600g+ bounty? Look at all these stolen items I have! I don't want to get caught on the way to an outlaw's refuge!
Worry no more, for I have some helpful tips on how to avoid some easily made mistakes and to not get caught (most of the time)
NPCs and Detection
'This contract is impossible! I'm surely going to get caught!'
That's where you are wrong. Patience, my child. All NPCs that you can be sent to murder are scripted to move to an area where they can be slaughtered without anyone noticing.
Watch for patterns.
There are three stages in an NPC's pattern, and here they are
- They fiddle with something out in the open. Perhaps they will go to have a look at a bookshelf, browse a merchant's store, look at a map, anything. Sometimes they'll stand in front of a desk staring at their bare hands.
- Then they move towards the 'safe' spot. Wait for them to stop. They'll stay there for more than long enough for you to wait for a guard to pass, go into stealth and perform an unapologetic gory attack animation. If you miss this and they start to walk away, LEAVE THEM. Wait for them to go back and mess around, then follow them back.
Watch out for guards and wandering NPCs. All neutral citizens are scripted, sometimes they will get a little too close for comfort. Don't risk it, they'll bugger off soon. Wait for them to get a reasonable distance and turn their back to an approaching crime scene.
Guards may walk by. Don't use that blade of woe until they're far out of the way.
Once it's safe, go in for the kill. It will take a while to get it right but eventually you will start to just 'know' if you're in a position to murder without witnesses.
I think this goes without saying, but stay stealthed. Both before you murder and after.
Preparation and Optional Tools
-If you have valuable stolen goods, fence or launder them before you kill. It's not so much of a big deal to lose some green or white quality stolen goods, but better safe than sorry.
-Keep 5,000 gold on you at all times. Put the rest in the bank.
-If you're not a Nightblade or you are a Nightblade with a very low magicka pool, Invisibility potions are your friend. If you want to make them yourself, here is a wonderful guide showing which alchemy ingredients can be used to make an Invisibility potions.
- If you are a Nightblade with a decent pool of magicka, invest a couple of skill points into that first skill in the Shadow tree that grants you invisibility. This is invaluable and can be used to approach your target for extra safety while stealthed, and to get away.
- Also, that passive which makes Shadow abilities last longer is great.
- Legerdemain tree has improved hiding, get that.
- Thieve's Guild tree has veil of shadows to reduce detection and Swiftly Forgotten if you get caught. Also Clemency if the guard catches up to you.
- Dark Brotherhood Scales of Pitiless Justice helps remove heat if you get caught. Also, Spectral Assassin can save your life
- If you're a Khajiit, put some points into that sneaky racial passive.
- If you're a vampire, put some skills into the 'Dark Stalker' passive
- Champion points that reduce sneak stamina costs are nice too.
- Night's Silence armour set reduces sneak movement penalty! However, as of the most recent patch, it seems to be bugged (or, hopefully not nerfed), but it might be fixed soon.
I got caught! Now what do I do?!
It's going to happen. You're not going to get away with it every time.
If a guard catches you and you are forced to raise your arms in surrender, DO. NOT. FLEE. Don't do it, it's not worth the extra bounty. Pay the damn fine. This is why I said to keep 5,000 gold on you at all times. The fine for murder is just over 600 gold, which is not a lot of money, especially endgame. A couple of awards you get for contracts will pay the bounty themselves.
This is also why I said to fence or launder valuable stolen goods before murdering.
If you insist on not paying the bounty, make sure to have Clemency (Thieve's Guild passive) and ones that cool down bounty and heat. In the mean time, go do stuff that doesn't require you to approach a city. If you need to sneak around, the aforementioned abilities will help you.
And that's a wrap! Hopefully I helped at least one of you get away with murder. If you found this helpful, give the post a +1 awesome, if you didn't, then don't.
If I've missed anything that would be helpful to add to this guide, give me a shout in the comments.
Now go out there, brothers and sisters, and obey the will of the Dread Father.

I have ESO Plus...why the gold cost to change colors on saved Outfits?
Hi..I have ESO plus and I do enjoy swapping the dyes on my outfits. I do like the new Outfit system. I went to my home in the Rift and used my dye (now outfit) station and worked through some outfits. Then I saw that there is a gold cost attached to changing the dyes on the different outfits. Was that intended?

Are there going to be incoming changes to the item set [Earthgore]?
One of the upcoming changes many expected was a rebalancing of the Earthgore set. ZOS announced that they were looking into the set, stating in this post that they also found it to be overperforming.
As of the 3.3.0 Patch Notes there has been no mention of the set being rebalanced. I am curious whether we will see any balancing during this update, or if the set will continue to overperform.
Some personal opinions I have:
I'd love to see others' thoughts on whether this set should continue to exist in its current state, or if most agree that the set needs rebalancing this update.
On the off chance that you haven't seen the set in its current state:

Some personal opinions I have:
- The cooldown on the set is fine. It is the healing combined with ground negate component that is overperforming.
- There have been many discussions across various boards about whether it is the healing or the negate component that are too strong (some say both). I personally believe the healing component is what is overperforming, but welcome thoughts regarding this issue to be discussed further here.
I'd love to see others' thoughts on whether this set should continue to exist in its current state, or if most agree that the set needs rebalancing this update.

Q on major brutality
It adds 20% "weapon damage". Does that mean any dmg done by a weapon? For example, Lethal Arrow does poison damage, is that affected?
What about a staff light attack? Is that weapon dmg?
What about Killer's Blade? It's a melee attack that does Disease damage; it's a stamina ability that scales off of weapon damage.
Is the only way to get 100% major brutality is to wear Dreugh King stuff?

Troll King is bugged
Currently on live the Troll King monster set isn't being affected by healing debuffs, it has been tested and proven by multiple people. I would really be grateful if this could get fixed during pts so I could resume experimenting with the meta.

Clockwork City Daily Quest Rewards
Does anyone else think that the Clockwork City Daily rewards just aren't worth the effort?
Either the rewards are broken of the Gods of RNG just plain hate me. I just can't seem to get a decent reward from these Daily quests anymore. I think I've managed a couple of Purple Mad Tinkerers rings and 3 or 4 motifs after the initial launch, but nothing good for the last couple of months. When you take into account the time it can take to complete some of these quests - I'm thinking of those given by the Bursar of tributes here - is it worth the time it can take to complete them?
