Default Dyes

Other than Trial & Error, is there a way to determine the default dye of an in game item?

For example, I'd like to know the dye colors for the livery on the Alliance Warhorse -- so I can dye to match. Yeah, I know I can buy the Alliance Rider outfit -- I have. I would also like to know the
"default" dye, so I can make armor, outfits, etc match.

Thank you for your assistance!

A question for ZOS about crown crate mounts

$

Recently I purchased $400 worth of crowns and used it all on crown crates (175+ total), I was trying to get the Shadow Senche mount. Out of all of the crown crates I received, I only got one mount (Ice wolf) which I already had. I get that there are "rare" mounts.... however it also seems to me like there should be a system to buy "rare mounts" with crowns or at least crown gems. What I think is wrong with the current system is that for $400 USD there is no way to get the 1 item I was looking for.... not with crown gems, crowns, trading, gold, etc.... even if the "rare mounts" were something like 10,000 crown gems.... at least it would seem somewhat obtainable...

ZOS, is there any thoughts to making these rare items available in any manner other than RNG/luck via crown crates? I am not advocating paying to level up or to receive an item that gives you an advantage over other players.... I am talking about strictly cosmetic items, like rare mounts.

Recently ZOS decided that if we choose the option to hide helmet on Xivkyn polymorphs we won't have the Xivkyn face anymore! That ruins all the beauty of those polymorphs! Please ZOS don't do that!

Rampant cheating in PvP, what is being done about it ZOS?

I'm not even a diehard PvPer, but I sure do die easy from all the cheaters . . . pun intended

Every discord, TS, or other channel I join to talk with other PvPers it seems there is always talk about someone or some group that is exploiting some aspect of PvP.

The fact that there is something called "Cheat Engine" that can still be used to gain an advantage in PvP speaks volumes about the state of the PvP experience.

Someone told me that programs could be added to kick/or ban people who hack the server/and or client side of the game to adjust stats? Is it really that simple? Why isn't that being done.

I enjoy all aspects of ESO clearly, though, PvP is not a priority for ZOS in terms of fair playing field for all players.

Crown Store Items, pulled for Crates

$

Since crates appear to be here for the long haul, I wish the dev team would stop pulling direct purchase content so they could put it in the crates. I've missed buying things before (even things that weren't labeled 'limited time only') to find them later put in the crate rewards for a season.

Example: Cyrod Patrician Formal Gown. When I started playing (December 2016) it was in the store. In March/April, it was still there. Around that time, I needed to upgrade my PC and ended up building a new one, which resulted in an unintended absence from the game for awhile. I had no reason to believe that content would be pulled. (Yes, I know the TOU states they can change whatever they want without notice). It just sucks to have come back, realized it and some other costumes and things were gone, only to be returned as crown crate rewards.

I mean, really, I'd just like to be able to purchase the things I want directly in general. But, at least, please just let things introduced as direct stay direct. Don't remove stuff from the store just so you can sell us the horrid RNG chance to get it later.

Anyone else get one hour penalty?

I get one hour penalty for leaving a dungeon again now. Third times in this game I get one hour penalty.
I’m queuing my first dungeon of the day for dailies, so I got to tank normal icp, then my team has 2 level 20 one use ice staff and taunts everything, the other healer use sword and board and ransack everything, after explaining to them those taunts and it’s tank’s job to taunt, they don’t care or don’t understand me.
I then left after 10min. Now I want to que another then I have an hour penalty.

Why is that ZOS? Can u please explain?
Also it’s the third time I get this one hour penalty.
I know I play dungeons everyday, but why put this one hour penalty on me all the time??

On last night's ESO Live, you briefly mentioned that there is a document of player feedback that you compiled from the forums. The document is a list of intended changes that continuously gets pushed from current patch to next patch, if not implemented. Can you please share that document/list on the forum so that players get an idea about upcoming changes that you're intending to make based on our feedback?

For anyone who wants to see the exact segment I'm referencing, it's from 47:21 to 47:59 on the 4/19/18 ESO Live.

Forged from the pyres of Oblivion, we are The Reborn

Would you like to join a guild where friendship and achieving things together are highly valued?
Where you can share your stories, have a laugh and kick ass with your teammates whether it be in normal/veteran dungeons, trials, PvP-raids, or a random walk through the park to find out what’s behind that tree?
Then this guild just might become your new home in ESO!

Who are the Reborn?
We are a small group of people from all over the world who found each other in ESO and became a close-knit community because of our similar play-/lifestyles and in-game goals.
Most of us are in our thirties, have a family, a household and/or job, so it does happen once and a while we need to have a nice tea-party mid-dungeon because someone is called away on kid-, cat-, or dog-duties.
We have an exemplary knowledge base for all classes, expert crafters in our midst and a good lot of helping hands whenever you might need one.
Our little community is active on Discord rather than in-game chat, so joining our Discord channel is mandatory if you want to join in for guild events, dungeon-runs and trials, and of course we’d love you to stay for the chitchat!

What are we looking for in our members?
• Social, active people, whether you are new to the game or a first-day veteran!
• A friendly and mature attitude towards others, willing to help and become a family
• A strong wish to become better, to achieve more and sharing those achievements with your fellow guild members
• A minimum age of 20

What do we have to offer?
• A close-knit community that welcomes new members with open arms
• The freedom to learn the game on your own pace
• Daily groups for dungeons and pledges
• Weekly normal trials, led by an experienced raid-leader
• PvP-events
• An achievement wish list and fun contests!

Edit: Important information
We are very keen about creating an active comunity in game and also on Discord.
If you are just looking for another guild to join in ESO, this is not for you.
If you are indeed looking for a group of likeminded people to spend time with, you found the right spot.
We do remove inactive people that don't take part in the guildlife after the three week trial phase.

We would love to hear from you!

Winner of the Most Annoying NPC Award - can you guess who it is?

Who just won the Most Annoying NPC Award? You may think it's the woman who says, "Do you know how long I've been looking for you?" Or the man who follows you saying "Hold, sera!" Or even The Prophet with his incessant "Come, Vestige, we must speak." But nay, neither of those are the winner.

The winner is the troll in the cage at the Grahtwood Undaunted Enclave. This is the troll that roars loudly and constantly in 20-second bursts. Don't believe it? Just stand anywhere in the enclave and you'll experience it for yourself. At first, you'll think the loud annoying sound is from some figurative troll - some player spamming skills to be annoying. But then you'll look around and realize it is a literal troll!

I guarantee some of you will be thinking what someone said in zone chat today: "I want to f****** murder the troll in the cage."

Weight - 5-1-1 vs 5-0-2

I'm bringing this to the forums because i'd like a definitive answer.

All build guides (there abouts) recommend the 5-1-1 setup because you can take full advantage of undaunted passives as well as those for each of the armour skill lines. Thats all well and good but in my own testing stats are generally better if you choose the 5-0-2 option. Better health, better resists being the main point.

What do you run and why do you run it? And is 5-1-1 really the best option overall?

To fill you in on the smaller details i'm a Dunmer DK. I run 5 BSW, 4 MK, 2 Ilambris with double shock staves. All gear is divines and i'm CP690.

Running a 5-0-2 setup my states are as follows:

Magicka - 39k
Health - 18.8k
Stamina - 10.5k

Mag Recovery - 750
Health Recovery - 180
Stamina Recovery - 580

Spell Damage 4396
(With BSW and Weapon Damage glyph proc. 3979 with just BSW proc)
Spell Crit - 45.7%
Weapon Damage - 1977
Weapon Crit - 32%

Spell Resist - 19.9k
Physical Resist - 12.7k
(Note that these will be higher if you have Volatile Armour on ad Active)

I'll add that this is my back bar with a Nirn MK shock staff. Front bar has higher magicka due to Shooting Star being slotted.

In need of some advice on build

Hello all,

Firstly I am on Xbox/na to get that out of the way. My Templar has been 50 for a few weeks but recently upgraded the armor (previous armor was servely outdated). Unbuffed im sitting at 9800 mag, 12000 hp(once I get the finial pieces of jewelry be about 14k) and 24ishk stam. Is that about right for being unbuffed? Also, not factoring in on getting weapons.

My build is focused around dw/bow, 2h brawler for aoe farming. There any benefit besides rally for pvp? Currently running 5 hundings, 2 nmg, 2werewolf hide rings, and rest fillin till I can acquire the rest. Anyone have thoughts on the 5pc seventh legion set?

Which set do you like better?

Discuss:

Tank- PvE- dungeons/trials

As a secondary group support set. Perhaps to run dungeons without a healer (i.e. tank-healz + 3 dps).

These sets would be as jewelry/weapons (not on the body parts)

Almalexia's Mercy Set

LEVEL 50 CHAMPION 160

(2 items) Adds 1206 Max Health

(3 items) Adds 2975 Spell Resistance

(4 items) Adds 2975 Spell Resistance

(5 items) When you take damage, you have a 20% chance to heal you and your allies within 7 meters for 2429 Health. This effect can occur once every 3 seconds.

*** note this actually heals for over 3k due to my champion points and also Wiki says 30% chance to proc, but it's actually 20% chance.

or

Draugr’s Rest Set Set

LEVEL 50 CHAMPION 160

(2 items) Adds 1096Max Magicka
(3 items) Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
(4 items) Adds 2% Healing Done
(5 items) When you deal damage with a fully-charged Heavy Attack, you create a circle of consecrated ground that heals you and your allies within 5 meters for 11,000 health over 10 seconds. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds.

Have you experimented with either set?
How did you like it?
On what type of character and environment? (dungeons? Cyridil? battlegrounds? etc)

Thoughts?

PS> PC North America. Willing to Buy: Almalexia shield -- cant find on vendors and already spent too much AP with terrible no luck RNG

Few highlights from the big ps4 EU dueling torny which was hosted last night, it showcases my current build of 5 necro 3 willpower & a monster set of your choice, I had to follow the torny rules so couldn't use any damaging monster sets :)

These fights were against some very good players so it proves magicka nb can still be very competitive with basic gear.

Hope you enjoy, feel free to ask any questions

[Trade Alliance] NA Crafting Guild - Traits and Deconstruction trading

$
0
0
The goal of the guild Trade Alliance is to trade items amongst crafters, so that we will all have plenty of options for traits and deconstruction to improve our crafting skills.

All ranks have Guild Bank access so that all members can deposit items, and withdraw items other members have deposited for deconstruction. The Guild Store is also enabled and available.

We want to help each other learn as many traits as possible by crafting items that others can research.

For example, let's say that I can create a chestpiece with the "Sturdy" trait. I make one, toss it in the Guild Bank, and then withdrawn a weapon with a trait I want to research. Or, I may craft items to level my professions, and then deposit them for others to deconstruct. I'll then withdraw an equal amount from the guild bank to deconstruct for exp.

While there a several guilds that sell to each other, the purpose of this guild is to simply promote trade with like-minded players so that we can help each other! One of our members kindly put together a website as well, so we do have forums where we can post our needs as well as what we already know.

Message @Altercation for an invite or post in this thread. All members will be given invite permissions as well, so that you can invite your friends.
