Grievance is a family-oriented online gaming community. We have a very rich and honorable heritage that spans many games over many years, during which Grievance has proven that one can have a very rewarding gaming experience, yet have a life as well. The concepts of family, honor, and loyalty are hallmarks of Grievance and are expected to be upheld and respected by all members.

Grievance is an adult gaming community, 18+ only. We have many long term members. This is no start up guild. We were formed in October 15th, of the year 2000. We were not always known as Grievance, but the membership has been strong and growing! We are one of the few trademarked Guilds in all gaming communities. We are comprised of singles, married couples, retired people, military members, college students and people located through out the US.

When you join Grievance you join a family. This family spans many games and even on opposite sides of the same game. Grievance is always a strong presence in games they are in. Grievance even has a real life get together, like a family reunion. We have this every year. We have a strong management support for each game, not same leaders in every game at one time.

We at Grievance are always looking to expand as anyone would expect. The larger the Grievance community the better it is. Wouldn't it be nice to start a game at launch and have a lot of Grievance members log in with you on the same server and same side? Imagine the friendships you will make with such a strong gaming community.

Why Does Healing Scale on Damage?

Seems like a curious decision to make healing scale on weapon and spell damage. In this current healing system the strongest damage builds also have great self-healing. Wouldn't it be better for game play if players had to choose between damage and healing?

Hello,

As written in topic title i am a less than casual player which means i am pretty noob and donnow much about the game.
The thing is i like Templar a lot and my question is:
Is there a combination of crafted sets that can make a templar adequate for both pve and pvp so i can enjoy the game even by logging 2-3 times per week?

I have the crafting masteries and its easier for me to craft something while farming for gear isnt in my to-do list.

I would like to see a one-handed alternative to staves, that perhaps my templar could use in conjunction with all these "shields of willpower" that I keep getting for doing random dailies.

I think this could go a long way in terms of opening up new specs and avenues for people.

What furnishings would you LOVE to get your paws on that are currently unavailable?

This is insane. I cant even PvP on the weekends I refuse to play the smash one button 10 times until my skill goes off. I was recommending player and friends to play early morning and now that the pop has grown SLIGHTLY SLIGHTLY IN PVP the servers are dying literally everyday its worse and this is unacceptable. All of your resources need to fix this or take PvP out of this PvE game. But what good is an MMO if you cant kill other players?

I didn't think it was possible but you broke Templar even more ZOS , I rejoiced when I saw the natch potes but after going into the PTS I just wanted to delete my character.

THINGS THAT ARE BROKEN:

Puncturing Sweep:
Missing 50% of the damage on moving targets
The sounds have changed (not a big deal but makes me uneasy)
Puncturing Sweep is doing LESS damage now then live
Puncturing Sweep is not healing while doing damage
Seems like the cone of damage Puncturing Sweep provides is more narrow now.
Seems like Puncturing Sweep cone of damage is lagging behind the player casting it(I move faster now but the cone doesnt)
Radiant oppression:
This skill is not scaling correctly still, practically worthless as a execute vs players

I need to get Vigor and Caltrops, so I went to Cyrodiil, not knowing what to expect.
Zerg. ZERG. Nothing more. 10 fps. Relatively frequent two seconds freezes. Then I got hit by endless loading screen. About three minutes to log back in, several more minutes to go through queue again. Try to get to where the group was. Endless loading screen. /quit

Dear Zenimax, four years after release, and you are obviously STILL pathetically unable to do anything about this frankenstein of a crap engine you got who knows where to make it perform at least badly? Because if the performance was at least BAD, I wouldn't want to commit virtual suicide.
This is ridiculous and pathetic on so many levels I don't even know where to begin.

No, I won't even try to pvp again in this game.

Necropotance set and max majicka

I haven't really followed the details of build theory but have got rather confused when comparing sets.

Simple question to start with, I thought the 5th piece bonus of the necropotance set increased max majicka when you has any active "pet". As activating a pet has no effect on my max majicka am I right in assuming that this does not apply to non combat pets (the Wikia's only reference to pets is non combat pets) but instead applies only to warden's animal companions and / or sorcerer's summoned creatures?

The other thing that surprised me is while adding a (legendary) epaulettes of necropotance, with a +351 max majicka enchantment added 400 max majicka (or 444 when I had the rest of my armor on) an epic Grothdarr's arm cops increases my max majicka by 1206 despite having a stamina enchantment.

This makes me wonder how is max majicka calculated, as I might need to rethink my gear. I currently have 7 pieces of light I thought 5/1/1 was only a benefit if you had the undaunted passive (I am only level 4 undaunted) but is that correct?


Main Thread for Long Loading Screens

Hello everyone,

We’re creating this thread so there’s a central place to have discussions and provide updates on the long loading screens that many of you have been experiencing. We know this issue is extremely frustrating, and for some, is preventing you from playing all together. We’re doing everything we can to get this fixed as quickly as possible, and have made it a top priority for our engineers. Our QA team has been testing various scenarios so we can collect as much data as possible, including hopping in and out of PvE zones, dungeons, Trials, Cyrodiil, and Battlegrounds, all with varying amounts of players (we’re utilizing bots for situations requiring higher numbers). We’ve also been able to pin down a solid reproducible case for us to investigate that our own Game Director Matt Firor was encountering.

As of now, our only update is that our engineers and programmers are still working to pin point exactly what’s causing this. Until we know, we won’t be able to put in a fix. As for what you can do to help…
  • Let us know which system and megaserver you’re on if you’re currently having this issue.
    • If you’re on PS4, please specify if you’re on a regular PS4 or PS4 Pro.
    • If on Xbox, please specify if you’re using an Xbox One, Xbox One S, or Xbox One X.
    • If you’re a PC player, let us know what sort of processor you’re running.
  • Is there any specific area or zone you consistently see a long loading screen?
  • What are you doing when you experience a long loading screen?
    • I.e.: Using a wayshrine, resurrecting, looting, etc.
  • Are you utilizing any sort of SSD?
  • If you play on Xbox, is the game installed on the internal hard drive or an external hard drive?
  • If you’re on PS4, are you using the first party hard drive or a replacement?
Thanks for your patience on this, everyone. To reiterate, our priority right now is fixing this issue as soon as we can. We’ll provide updates in this thread as we receive them.

ZOS, Will You Rethink Your Decision to Penalize Nightblade Sneak Speed?

You designed Nightblade with specific focuses on stealth/sneaking, but you penalize the class' sneak speed (same as every other class) unless the character becomes a vampire (for Dark Stalker passive) or uses up a 5 piece set bonus (Night's Silence or Shadow Dancer's Raiment).

It seems like an odd decision to penalize sneaking on the class that you designed for stealth! Might I suggest adding the "Ignore the Movement Speed penalty while in Crouch" coding into the current Nightblade passive Dark Veil? That, or a similar decision, seems logical.
Because I know people will bring it up, yes, Concealed Weapon offers a separate movement bonus while stealthed or invisible, which is great for magicka Nightblades. It's not as useful for Stamina Nightblades, who have to give up a key skill in Surprise Attack to access Concealed Weapon.

Concept: as it is right now, we have seperate values for spell critical and weapon critical. What if we just had a "critical" stat that encompassed the chance to critically strike on any attack that fell within the boundaries of crittable damage (so, not monster helms and oblivion damage ie). Currently, that is how the crit modifier is with every case except champion points (which would remain the same so as to give 'pure' dps a numerical advantage).

Thoughts? Good idea? Terrible idea? Please comment and discuss.

Can someone please explain why this broken system receives a 30 point buff every major update? Like who tf is actually asking for a cap increase... I know im opening a can of worms here but I swear if someone comments "please explain how CP is broken" im gonna lose it. Rework the system already, diminishing returns was a good start but if you keep increasing the cap every patch what was the point of introducing diminishing returns to begin with.

The announcement is likely today or tomorrow and with uesp predicting it is summerset like they predicted morrowind (which ended up true). hopefully it is summerset and not that filthy mud hut dwelling argonian zone as ep already got their expansion. Now if it turns out to be murkmire well atleast we will have a whole other zone to kill argonians in. Elven superiority rains supreme, even if the altmer are inferior to dunmer.

Dunmer= master race
Altmer= secondary master race, but still n'wahs
Bosmer= bis race for cuteness, kills you with hugs... beautiful little cannibals, will eat you if your opinion is different
Orsimer= good in dresses, best smiths aside from dwemer
dwemer= amazing technology but now missing, their tech still functioning

My predictions for this year are

Dragonbones,
Summerset,
Arteum (if not included in the expansion) or some dungeon dlc again...)
Spiral skein
breadcrumbs that hint towards a winterhold dlc and murkmire next year
