Puncturing Strikes snare is dodgeable

Yet one more reason why Strikes is badly landing on enemy.
Last tick of Strikes should apply snare effect and, despite ticks are undodgeable, effect it apply is dodgeable:

I play on PS4 EU, and disconnects are so frequent that typing dc in chat is an abbreviation you often see in chat and everyone understands what it means.
I dc from the game 5 times yesterday and only played for about 6 hours. The worse is when you are typing, it is if the game kicks you for being idle talking in chat.
This is unacceptable, especially that I am paying money for a service, eso+ and a bulk of my time is being disconnected, reloging ect.
The absolute worse is when we get a dc in dungeon no death/speed run runs, and trial score runs, but it happens so frequently.

So how often does this happen, is this a issue we all have to deal with?
I played on PC at launch and I do not remember any of this happening at all.

The only thing missing for class balance is a Nightblade nerf.

When you take into account the Sorc, DK, Templar, and Warden they all feel roughly on par with each other or just needing a few tweaks to be evened out. On the other hand the Magblade and even Stamblade seem to be on an entirely different level. If they were brought down significantly while the other classes continued to receive minor tuning the game would be in a much better place balance wise.

Facial Accessories - different colors on different characters

I noticed that some of my facial accessories such as the Mechanist Tiara will show up as bronze on one character and silver another. Is there a reason for this? Thanks!

Its only me Who find game weps and armor skins so boring?
Yes, I know this is not fashion wars 2,but the dessigns we can see in other games are so Great...
You can do a fast search in Google to see images and art of armor and weapons, with shinny effects, big and original dessigns..

Maybe you can say this kind of skins is not good for eso inmersion, but then try to search gw1 armors, is an old game more similar than eso on graphics... And better dessigns.

What do you think? Do you want to see styles like these?

I mean, any AOEs used in Cyrodiil just ends up giving you every possible negative effect under the sun, and purge/cleanse only getting rid of them for like a second before it is reapplied.Just for Duroks Bane, using ritual of retribution to cleanse yourself hinders you because the AOE damage just reapply the effect to you.

So, continuation of PTS thread.
Red CP in U17 reduce damage of Strikes more than previously.

In theory it look like it work as it intended, but NO, tested closest damage in pvp in exactly same gear/CP/skillbar against opponent with exact same gear/CP/skillbar and result is sad:

Whatever changed with calculation of CP damage taken it ended in monstrous damage nerf for pvp.
Will test tomorrow with no-cp rule and fully naked to decrease chance of error, maybe it fault of pvp debuff, might be my error but i rechecked 3 times as this damage nerf occured only in pvp.

Did further researches and can confirm Elemental Defender and Thickskinned incorrectly working with only Puncturing Sweeps (Apparently as Hardy for Biting Jabs)

Short results:
Live/PTS
1. 10 points into Thickskinned:

And the more enemy stack in elemental/physic protection + dot protections CPs and the more damage-oriented build Templar use - the higher damage difference penalty.

Cp is the one major things causing all the imbalance between classes. No so much the skills but all the perks from the champion tree. In non champ cp campaigns your success depends on a few things. 1 your gear...2 your skill selection...3 the people your playing with to compliment your build......AND 4 YOUR ACTUAL SKILL. Yes that’s right skill.... not relying on super buffed toons that can tank an entire zerg. Fights are more fluid as you don’t have infinite resource recovery and you can’t dodge forever either. That means that you have to be more aware of your skill usage and be more tactical in your actions.. is it worth it to sacrifice that last bit of magica to heal? Or use it to get that little bit of crit burst to finish off your opponent?

Yes people will complain that oh iv farmed my cp for months and even years like I have but cp honestly starts to remove the distinctions between some classes. You have glass cannon builds that turn into armored cannons. You have nuke builds and even untouchable fortress builds that you have absolutely no hope to kill by yourself who in turn can kill you rather easily.

So why not just remove champion trees? How about you keep the passive skills if you really really want to have an end game grind? Spend 50 cp to buy that perk. But these % trees are the real balance killers. I miss when there was more armor diversity because you had to run certain armor setups to make your self a certain play style build.

As a nb I used to build for crit damage. Ok so some stam dk has heavy armor and impen on his gear ok I couldn’t crit him as hard. But guess what. His magic def wasn’t as strong and a sorc could come kill him!!! Wow what a concept. Ok let’s say that dk decides to build for def both physically and magical ok so he sacrificed his dps to be more tanky. That’s how true builds are supposed to be. Your supposed to sacrifice something to get something. As a burst build I sacrifice survivability if someone has high def and medium atk but with Cp classes are removing the sacrifices to their builds that would otherwise make a class and build balanced.

I mean what is balance? Fire water light dark hot cold day night alive dead, water beats fire, lightning beats water , fire beats electric.... I mean you guys played Pokémon so I don’t have to explain to you how some classes have advantages and disadvantages. Tanks should take damage not deal it. Cannons should deal damage not take it and magic is just the other spectrum deal damage not take it. It’s just the difference between physical and magical. You can build for max def against phys and magical but have no magical or physical damage or you can build for max damage both physically and magical and have no def or you build for one and def with both. I don’t know how much more I can explain how balance works. And bottom line is Cp takes away from that balance. Without cp classes have their natural strengths against some classes and natural weaknesses. So if you want to negate that weakness you have to sacrifice something else for it. Thanks for listening to my rant

There is a thread for feedback, but I thought I'll start a thread for all of us who for some reason cannot test this on our own and have a lot of questions.

1. Can some kind soul that dedicated themselves to testing that aspect of new patch write down all meaningful rewards along the way to lvl 50?
(Well, they did :smiley: Great thanks to @feyii and @RaddlemanNumber7 and others)

2. If I have character at lvl 16 and level her to 30 then move to another character at lvl 31 and take it to 50 -- I will get the account bound rewards as if leveling one char? Can somebody swap chars and test it? - well, as per post #68 and my own experience, only the account wide rewards are given once (crown crate, storage coffer), even different costumes you can get as long as you don't own them already. All my below lvl 50 characters show the next reward and milestone reward on character screen. So as long as the character is under 50 they get rewarded as if you made them on the day of update.

Level 47 50 Transmute Crystals. Choose one blue ring, one piece set, either Healthy, Arcane or Robust. Set bonus is health. It's just one ring, not two this time. I double checked.
Level 48 Choose a pair of Purple Jewellery Glyphs from either 2 Stam Recovery, 2 Mag Recovery, 2 Phyisical Harm, or 2 Magical Harm Glyphs.
Level 49 One Crown Experience scroll.
Level 50: 10,000 gold and a Fire Atronach Crown Crate

I would really like to see world bosses that require more than just 1 person to complete. I played other MMO's coming in to this game (Aion) and something I really enjoyed from them was having bosses to fight that required a really large amount of people to complete (100+). These bosses could be alliance dependent maybe in a PvPvE setting, battling it out to compete for rare rewards. Anything like that I think would be really fun here. Minus the lag, gathering the entire server together for content would be really enjoyable.

Hey guys,

I was working on my new Dragonbones Magicka DK Build for pvp the last days.
This is a solo play or small group pvp build with good sustain, good defense and high damage.
I would like to hear what you think about it and see any possibility to improve it.

I plan to run 5 Shacklebreaker, 2 Skoria and 5 Caluurion's Legacy. (5L/1M/1H), 1HS+Resto.
Withmother potent brew, triple pots and boon Atronach.
Sword nirnhoned, resto powered for higher Dragonblood heals.
I think for Dragonbones, shattering rocks will be the better morph - people will maybe not dodge roll after breaking free and deals AOE + I am able to set several players off balance and powerlash them.

I would really like a bard to put in my house. Even better would be two bards, one that would sing and one that would cycle through different instruments
at your choice. I really liked that in Skyrim.
I would also really like a servant of some type. If they were just sweeping or something very general, you could put them in the stable or the house and
it could serve a double purpose. If the servant could give you the daily writs, that would be even better. "Master, these requests came for you while you were away."

Became a little inspired when I saw a few theorycrafting-threads here on the forums and decided to start another one, but this time about werewolf-gameplay in PvP. There´s a great guide/thread about werewolf which you can find here:

However, it would be interesting to see what insights the community has regarding these creatures and what we can do to help/improve. To narrow it down a little bit I thought it could be good to have some questions to work with:

* What assets do we´ve in order to dps/deal damage, and how can it be improved?

* How can we make sure we´re tanky enough to stay alive in a fight?

* How do you tackle sustain (both magicka and stamina) as a werewolf?

* How much can you trade damage for survivability and still be effective? (Damage VS Sustain VS Tankiness)

* Werewolf VS other classes? How to handle certain classes while in WW-form.

* Group-play VS Solo?

Try to include as much as possible. Everything from gear, potions, poisons, enchants, class, race etc.....

Try to keep this thread a theorycrafting thread and not a "nerf/buff"- thread (unless it´s relevant for the topic)
