40k on a test dummy?

God I'm sick of hearing game demi-gods claiming this is easy. I can trash mobs at 40-60k, kick dolmens and public dungeons solo, do some Craglorn group content solo (yeah, yeah, I know some of you can do this blindfolded), so I've got a few skills, but put be in front of a 3 ml test dummy and I can stand there buffing, de-buffing, laying down DoT's, and blasting with everything I've got while maintaining my resources and can still only manage about 10-12k at most. After 1700+ hours and a couple of DPS toons at 700+ CP, gold gear and staff, decent rotation skills, animation canceling (though I'm not really great at it) and I still comparably suck. Put me a vet dungeon where I'm running around trying to stay alive and my suckage meter goes up even further. As a result, I don't even try vet and any HM content as I'm tired of guys getting pissed and kicking me. Honestly, I'm doing the very best I can, but apparently there's something I'm missing? I have no clue how anyone can get even 20k out of a test dummy let alone maintain that level in a dungeon and/or trial. Am I forever doomed to an ESO life of suckage?

Really getting into the game so started reading up on lore,Hmm,I need a surname,chose one
went online,found name change in store and my jaw dropped!

Is there a reason for this prohibitive price ? I thought it would be a minor thing to change,what am I missing ?

I'll just keep an eye out for a sale on them,though I'll probably crack and buy on in the end

I think the cloak mechanism needs to be removed (atleast in pvp areas) completely.

This mechanism has no place, especially in PVP.
It immensely decreases the gameplay needed (skillwise) to get anything done as a nb. And i understand why this is something good from devs standpoint.
But looking at it from an coherent viewpoint, it lessen the enjoyment overall - imo.

Now why is this? - Because, as it seems to me atm, it is just being used in the following manner: burst->cloak->burst->cloak etc etc.
Very few nb actually use it in a strategically way, excluding just spamming it in accordance with above.

It is just not satisfying to fight cloak spamming nb's, and the majority will keep playing in this way if they're allowed to do so. Take it from them for the sake of the overall health of the PVP community.

Can give us something like: grants minor protection, minor resolve and minor ward for 20 sec when activated.
Just a thought, can be whatever - come with ideas about what to grant.

I recently got back into the game after a couple months. I recently changed my pve character from magdk to stam dk, seeing as magdk is somewhat useless in trials now. I'm max CP and been workin with sets like NMG, VO, hundings, and morag tong. Only set I do not have is twice fang. I've been on a test dummy for some time now and cannot a parse better than 32k dps. I see people hitting for 40k+, not sure what I am doing wrong. I watched Gilliams video on stam dk and used that as a reference guide for the rotation but I can't hit those high numbers. any suggestions?

Lot of items on PTS are not available on live. @ZOS are you going to add them?

I was interested in some Statues and I'm quite disappointed those are not available, the Clockwork tools like the Magnifier and the Micrometer, why not available? An oversight?

The Redguard Fountain Mosaic and I may check later on other items I was looking for, list could be longer.

becasue its done nothing positive for me. droprates are as low as ever, i actualy get more rare fish when I'm the only one at the hole, in part because it doesn't run out nearly as fast.

I've gotten to a point where whenever someone joins me in fishing randomly, I have to almost physically hold myself back from telling them to leave, please, but not as politely.

Dueling Tournament this Friday at 10:00PM EST in the Stormhaven Arena, PS4 NA.

That's it. Let's bring this dueling tournament back to when people weren't afraid to die.

guys, i play verry successful my mageblade as a destro bomb in my cryo guild group.

where i struggle is bgs

i tried now several specs, all with golden weapons:

2h/restro caluurions spinners 1 domi (was my best results FM is too good, but it feels kinda same as my stamblade)

dw/restro caluurions amberplasm 2 skoria (slowed to dead.. unplayable)

destro restro spinners front lich back 2 skoria (okeyish my sorc feels alot stronger... its kinda weak sorc)

what is the probably best build for solo/premade bgs?

i do pretty well on my stamden stamblade mageplar stamplar and magsorc. i feel magnb is the hardest class to learn properly. any advices to how to improove myself? any pro tipps here?^^

Please ZoS, for the love of Akatosh, allow us to change just ONE skill morph without resetting ALL of them. I'll pay the same amount of gold, you don't even have to pro rate the price if you don't want to, I just don't want to have to cruise through every skill I own just because I want to change a SINGLE morph (Ex: Sometimes I need to slot crushing shock instead of force pulse for specific trials, and it is tedious as can be to redo every morph I have when all I wanted to do was change one).

When you reset champion points, you can + and - points without having to clear them out completely. Please consider a similar system for skill morphs so that the player has the option to clear all morphs (currently there) or to manually select which morphs they want cleared (hope to see this someday). This saves the player time and hassle during build refinement, and I think more players than just me would appreciate the service being offered.

Those of you who own these two dyes, what is the difference between these: "Coldharbour Ash Black" and "Legate's Black"?

On UESOP they look pretty much the same.. but from my experience you can't trust the colour until you see it on armor.

Some of us have mistakes we've made in past and, with an account full of maxed out characters, can't undo. I'd love to be able to PVP with my friends but sadly, my toon that initially completed all the quests is the wrong faction. I'd love for there to be an alliance change token. Obviously, it would need to be done in a manner that won't allow for exploitation in PVP. Make it so you can only change a character once per year. If not alliance change token, then make it so when choosing a home campaign, we also choose a faction and are locked into it for the duration of the campaign.

Hello and good day.

So, pretend for a moment I'm new at this. This past month I have noticed while a lot of people are fighting in Cyrodiil PvP they have been making these odd sounds. Oh I don't know, duck, crow, something kind of odd, very odd chip/squak! So in anycase just yesterday I was fighting a few enemies in cyrodiil and managed to kill all but one and my resources ran out and had no choice but to pop off immovable (potion) which helped turn me invisible while I waited for my stam and magicka to regen, and oh look what do you know because this dude could not find me, he used a crow that flew right at me even though he was away and facing another direction and the crow hit me, took me out of stealth, which helped him finish me off.

First off it's bad enough fighting 5v1. Ask anyone, they love doing that, but god forbid its you that have 5 people and kill one of them because here comes the hate tells in whispers.

So, pretend I'm brand new to this game. WHAT .... THE ......FFFFFFF....... is this crow thing people are now using in Cyrodiil to take you out of stealth?

Stealth in this game in the past few days has become a real problem but I really really , really want to know what the heck this crow thing that targets you in stealth and takes you out of it and why it's allowed in cyrodiil pvp areas? Because I have never seen it until now.

I havent been playing that long and I just found out theres items locked behind vet dungeons and trials im not interested in doing and I cant even buy it at guild traders.

Ive been doing the work to try to master all crafts in hopes of being able to get enough gold to buy the items I want from the content I do not want to bother with. Apparently there was a time when it wasnt bound on pick up.

Zos stop trying to force people to do things they dont want to do. No wonder theres posts about fake tanks/healers/dps.
Except I dont want to be a jerk and ruin other peoples time by bringing my pvp character into a vet dungeon. Im not wasting gold to respec CP and morphs to pve.

And Im sure people who dont like pvp dont want to be forced to go to cyrodill or BG just to get any significant amount of transmutation crystals.
I doubt master crafters like the economy being nerfed because of bound on pick up.

People can decide for themselves how and what they want to play, they dont need a nanny state to ram content down their throats that theyre not interested in.

It would seem to me that, for the most part, previous Elder Scrolls games basically were a completionist's dream - lots of sidequests to do, lots of unique gear pieces to pick up, etc. etc. etc.

And I would think that, given this is an Elder Scrolls game, the amount of completionists/collectors would be relatively high, at least compared to other MMOs. And granted, a lot of people have jumped on the motif-collecting bandwagon since the outfit stations came out.

But it seems to me that the amount of players actively trying to learn all the provisioning recipes or all the furniture plans is relatively low. So I guess my question is, why is that? Where are all the collectors in what is usually a very collector-heavy IP?
