https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/292748/it-will-always-be-items-worse-than-what-you-can-craft-topic/p1

as a result of 15 page thread, less than in a month ZOS added Aetherial Ambrosia with recipes

right now similar situation took place, but i think people just forgot, become lazy and too forgiving?

@ZOS_GinaBruno i must to ask you now, and it will be a huge voice from all community

WHERE is ingame version of this scrolls? I hope you not forgot to add them to Rollis Hlaalu?
Any plans to add them to the game later?

Idea for a Healer's Test Dummy

$

As far as I am aware, heals in ESO are just negative damage (ie. they still scale of max mag and spell damage), so why can't the Devs create a training dummy which operates in reverse?

The training dummy could start at zero health, and then the timer could see how long it takes the healer to heal the test dummy back to full health, and then give a HPS rating at the end. Wearing different sets and applying different buffs to the target dummy would affect your HPS result.

The training dummy could possibly also have a default damage DOT applied 100% of the time, so that if you use a shield or a buff on the target dummy to increase its resistance, the DOT would do less damage and heals would be more efficient. Different difficulty target dummies could have weaker or stronger DOTs on them too, to simulate Normal vs Vet vs Vet HM.

It obviously wouldn't simulate end-game trials which involve mechanics, group dynamics, and spacial awareness, but it would be a starting point for new healers and would at least set a baseline. It would also give healers a way to practice their skills/rotations and see which skill combinations bring a higher HPS score.

I would love to see this in game.

Block casting in 2018 has only gotten worst.

It’s 2018 and block casting is still a problem, if not, then it has only gotten worst. While ESO has made a tremendous amount of improvements over the years since day one, it’s still not at a point where builds can be diverse. All the potential is available, but block casting hinders diversification and player skill in PVP.

Since day one block casting has existed, however before there was maybe one or two players in cyrodiil at a time that utilized it. Four years later, whole Zerg balls of Dks, Templars, and wardens abuse block casting shamelessly.

Going through the threads you would be convinced that the general player base was ok with block casting and you maybe correct. To be honest even I have two block casting builds a stam warden and a mag DK, and I can even say for myself that I can see the seduction to use it. On my Stam warden when I reach execution range I hold block and use healing spores to replenish my health unmolested. On my DK most of my rotation can be used while blocking allowing me to deal maximum dps on another player with ease. In both instances I have improved my characters survivability at the cost of stamina but, no skill or strategy to be used. The pros and cons are imbalanced I can’t be CC’d, I take a reduction in damage, and the buff to block cost last patch has only made it better. Even though I can be dotted I still have burst heals that make the idea laughable.

Block casting is so effective most people in cyrodiil are using it. If you are one of those players not using block cast you are either skilled and or giving other players a handicap. Playing on XBox pvp Vivec campaign you could see whole Zerg balls running around mostly made up of block casting builds. You could argue that it is just a well put together team, but in reality it goes against ZOS’s intent for more spread out and skill based pvp. In reality these are one button warriors using each other as a crutch. They are still a Zerg.

If block cast remains I honestly don’t see eso becoming balanced, so it is time for block casting to go. If anything healers should be restricted from casting heals like breath of life while blocking in order to add more strategy to group play in cyrodiil.

I am writing this because I love eso and I would like to see eso grow, but I don’t see this block casting trend keeping PVP alive for much longer and all the day one players I know still play the game for pvp content. Most if not all pver’s I knew are gone. So it would be in ZOS’s best interest to give it an honest thought. Let’s be done with block casting once and for all.

Werewolf Theorycrafting (PvP)

Became a little inspired when I saw a few theorycrafting-threads here on the forums and decided to start another one, but this time about werewolf-gameplay in PvP. There´s a great guide/thread about werewolf which you can find here:

https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/384516/ebony-wolf-pack-werewolf-101/

However, it would be interesting to see what insights the community has regarding these creatures and what we can do to help/improve. To narrow it down a little bit I thought it could be good to have some questions to work with:

* What assets do we´ve in order to dps/deal damage, and how can it be improved?

* How can we make sure we´re tanky enough to stay alive in a fight?

* How do you tackle sustain (both magicka and stamina) as a werewolf?

* How much can you trade damage for survivability and still be effective? (Damage VS Sustain VS Tankiness)

* Werewolf VS other classes? How to handle certain classes while in WW-form.

* Group-play VS Solo?

Try to include as much as possible. Everything from gear, potions, poisons, enchants, class, race etc.....

Try to keep this thread a theorycrafting thread and not a "nerf/buff"- thread (unless it´s relevant for the topic)

I suppose my addons could be bugged, but I haven't seen one since the last patch. I usually get quite a few across toons.

There should be an alternate way to get the Fortified Coffer

$

I'd like to express my extreme displeasure at the fact that the ONLY way to get the eighth fortified coffer is through the level 18 rewards. I already have all 8 character slots filled with max level characters, all of whom I've spent gold and time and materials completing their riding lessons, leveling up their crafting, skyshard hunting for skill points, farming for equipment and motifs, etc. My choices are to delete one of my leveled characters, or spend 1500 crowns on an additional character slot in order to get a 1000 crown coffer. I think the level rewards are a great idea, but I don't think it's fair to us veteran players to have them be exclusive to leveling up.

Healers ... outside trials and few hard mode fights ... role?

$

From the outset, let me say I (used to) main a healer and have enjoyed the role a great deal.

Increasingly, it has become clear that the self-sufficiency enjoyed by most classes and game mechanics themselves are allowing groups to run at least 3DDs, sometimes 4, leaving no need for healers in the vast majority of non-trial situations. Some of the hard mode DLC dungeons still need a balanced group for most players but so rare that it's becoming an in-joke each time we clear something really difficult with just a tank and DDs.

Yes, I know this applies to groups with good DPS and people who know mechanics but this situation will, eventually, be the norm as everyone skills up.

Do others healers feel the same? Are you relegated as a dedicated healer to just trials?

I know my guild will allow me to take the healer out on anything but the simple fact is that it would be limiting the group's effectiveness and add nothing by way of benefit outside a few buffs that matter little in the grand scheme of things.

Would it be a Nice Feature if Achievements Added Experience?

$

I'm getting a lot of conflicting responses from people, that they either do, or don't, grant experience. So I'll just make a poll that assumes they don't.

My question for you is: Would experience tied to Achievements be a nice feature?

My reasoning for it would be that Exploration/Overland quest based achievements will be able to grant the player a sizable amount of experience while leveling. Another avenue to level apart from the standard mob grind, or a nice surprise gotten from playing main content.

(Currently I know Exploration and General Dungeon based achievements grant nothing upon completion)

I cannot decide what "Tiber Septim" would be if I made a character around him....

Nord or Breton?

Sorc or DK or Magblade or? (dks aren't storm related, neither are magblades technically...)
=====================

So I ask you loremasters!!!!

what would tiber be as a class and race in eso as a character i could build?

here is a link to help if you don't have it = http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Tiber_Septim

Darien Gautier for Soulcalibur 6...

Soulcalibur 6 is coming out later this year and they do special guests appearances from other games. What character would be the best for a Soulcalibur mashup? I think Darien Gautier would be perfect!

Anyone else have a cool warrior type character to be a guest appearance in Soulcalibur 6?

RACE PASSIVES - A comprehensive and well researched suggestion

$

I have seen a lot of people complain that they are stuck to certain roles depending on their race. I agree, so I have done some research on racial passives and I believe I have found a simple solution that would be easy to implement and should make players happy. In short... RACIAL TYPES! I suggest having TWO types of each race: One with a stamina emphasis, one with a magic emphasis. This could be implemented either as a bound on creation passive system or it could be made to work just like Werewolf and Vampire skill lines that only allow you to unlock the ones while you are that "Type". For example you would have to go to a shrine similar to the skill and attribute ones and pay a hefty fee to change your "Type". As for what new passives should be given for each race's new type, I have some suggestions which I will list below along with the original passives. ~~~ Let me know your thoughts

What Kinds of Mysteries hide in the Blackmarsh?

Argonia seems like it has been largely undiscovered by Imperial scholars and the like, What mysteries delve within the unexplored and/or forgotten bogs of Tamriel? Is there ancient civilizations other than Argonians and Naga left to be discovered? New creatures? Portals to the outer realms? A lost tribe of Dwarfs, or Wild Elves?!

What do you think?

Is this an exploit

I am looking for a concrete answer. In the past people just guess but i would like to figure it out and, if it is, have something done about it. And if its not i then i can start doing it myself to the people who use it.

But IMO this cant be acceptable. This is not lag, trust me this game lags constantly. I was having plenty of issues bar swapping in this first video, at one point i tired to swap and cast hurricane but ended up hitting rally 3 times. No, i think this is an exploit. I think its the same one thats been going on forever. Years.

Anyway, if this is an exploit, can some people start getting banned for this? I mean FFS zos banned players for glitching the asylum sancotrium boss for the skin. I mean PERMA ban with no appeals for a cosmetic item and a random weapon.. Yet people can run around insta killing people in cyrodil, with a glitch, and as far as i can see there has never been bans for it. Correct me if i am wrong, please, and to be honest i just dont know. All i do know is i see the same people doing this same thing over and over.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom is this an exploit? And if so can someone finally do something about it? this happens to me at least 5 times a day if i pvp. There is no counter to this. From what i see its an exploit of either camo hunter or the other exploits with the emotes. Or who knows, maybe its a new one.

It takes place in last 20 seconds of the 1st video, and the 2nd video is just someone showing a glitch. looks oddly similar..

ESO LAG and Perofmance issues in 2018

Hi,

I just wanted to make this post to acknowledge the lag problem that still exist in ESO. It is 2018 and ESO is about to mark 4 years anniversary.

My PC specs: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080ti, intel i7 7700k, 16GB of ram, Windows 10 pro 64 bit. 200MB Internet download Speed, 30MB upload.

I still face serious performance issues specially in Cyrodiil. You might think that I should hit at least 60 FPS considering my Graphics card right?, no you're mistaken, i get around 30 frames and the server lag is even worse. For me 60 is bad imagine the 30 FPS or below? My skills don't even work sometimes.

Instead of releasing the dragon DLC they're going to talk about on the next ESO live stream. I think they should consider a game health and performance rework DLC, wouldn't you agree?

I decided to post this because I don't see anybody caring enough about this issue, I feel like players got used to the bad performance already. We all love this game so so constructive criticism is welcome.

Should there be a CP catch up mechanic? Should we be able to buy them?

As the champion point cap is gradually raised the casual players are left feeling like they are in a never-ending grind to catch-up. Why not offer an alternative similar to EVE Online? EVE Online allows you to purchase skillpoints for your character. Why not allow players in ESO to buy "Champion Packs" on the Crown Store similar to mount speed and inventory space?

To all of you that say: "Werewolf is weak"

I keep hearing people saying that just going all DPS is fine for most content, IF that's true, should it be changed? Is DPS becoming too much of a 'I win' button if built and skilled properly?

Because I really want a BIG High Elven house, with nice grounds, looking a bit old and crumbly in a place that rains daily.

British you see :D,I'm going to furnish it by sort of copying old english contry houses,so, Grand, but a bit tatty around the edges,( High Elve Chic ! )

I know it wont be for a while, but wanted reassurance as i'm buying the "below stairs" part tomorrow,(Erstwhile Sanc.)

Well better start hording four posters and such :D

Many times when I player is making their homes their own by adding stone paths and other accessories, grass clips through solid objects... is there any chance if we can hide grass when solid objects cover them?

AND NO, the hide grass option isn't an option as I know atleast one of you will say that... I only want to hide grass that goes through housing objects
