Was playing in BGs last night. I thought to myself, "sure is a lot of NBs in here..."

Checked the players, out of the 12, 7 were NBs
Next match 6 of the 12 NBs
Next match 7 again were NBs
Next match 8 were NBs.

Slotted flare...

But, I remember ZoS being all about how many players use what and where.

Can't help but think there maybe a balance issue when over 50% of the playing field is one class while there are 5 available.

Do you see what I'm seeing?

Currently I'm using 5x twice fanged serpent for pen, 5x automaton for weapon damage, and 2x kragh. What are some other options I could swap to once I get vma/master/asylum weapons? Swapping my weapons to those means losing one of my 5 piece sets (which at the moment would be twice fanged).

I've had no luck getting vicious ophidian so far. Would another 5 piece and vengeance leech on jewelry work adequately?

back in a days we raise a huge cry when they added Grand Crown exp scrolls in game

as a result of 15 page thread, less than in a month ZOS added Aetherial Ambrosia with recipes

right now similar situation took place, but i think people just forgot, become lazy and too forgiving?

@ZOS_GinaBruno i must to ask you now, and it will be a huge voice from all community

WHERE is ingame version of this scrolls? I hope you not forgot to add them to Rollis Hlaalu?
Any plans to add them to the game later?

16 werewolves killing all 12 bosses in Wrothgar and Coldharbour!

Another PoH meetup. We definitely felt the difference of the nerf to Call of the Pack, or fix perhaps, as I do think it was working incorrectly, however it was incredibly useful to our meetups and events to have basically unlimited werewolf form when there was this many of us. Hence why there's a few cases in the video when some of us are running around in normal form.

As the champion point cap is gradually raised the casual players are left feeling like they are in a never-ending grind to catch-up. Why not offer an alternative similar to EVE Online? EVE Online allows you to purchase skillpoints for your character. Why not allow players in ESO to buy "Champion Packs" on the Crown Store similar to mount speed and inventory space?

I'm hooked up to this game... kind of. I don't play anything else lately, but what I got to realize 30mins ago (after asking myself some questions and talking to random guy) got me pissed of so hard.

So... you saying that I can go make a guild and get all 3 factions in a guild and then we enter cyrodill and we are suddenly enemies in the same guild ?!?!

You say that I can go and quest in peace and quiet in other faction's zones, even cooperate with other faction't members there and when I enter cyrodill that faction member who helped me to finish certain quest is now my enemy?!?!

WHY? Please somebody explain this logic, I beg you. This has almost made me uninstall the game, cuz this is same reason I quit Rift after the *** up the world pvp logic, and same reason why I can't stand GW2 cuz it's having exactly the same thing as ESO, just instead of a faction word put a word "server".

This is so... soooo... STUPID!

TL;DR: Despite what your character sheet and ability tooltips tell you, queuing for a dungeon does not actually give you a damage buff if you are a max-level character.

This is a pet peeve of mine: I'd join a pre-formed group for a specific dungeon, and instead of simply porting into the dungeon by wayshrine, the group members insist on queuing for the dungeon, claiming that we will get a damage bonus--a damage bonus that I have long argued doesn't actually exist. I don't mind queuing a pre-formed group if we are far from a wayshrine, but if we are all in town, I much rather prefer the freedom of just porting in normally, which prevents the group from being converted into a Group Finder group with all the accompanying restrictions and downsides.

In any case, the merits of queuing vs. wayshrining is irrelevant to the topic of this thread. My aim with this thread is solely to dispel the common myth that queuing grants a damage bonus.

To demonstrate that this damage bonus is indeed a myth, I gathered some people and went to Spindleclutch II. At the entrance of this dungeon is an enemy that is being tanked by a friendly NPC, making it a convenient in-dungeon test subject.

Test #1: Max-level character, normal entrance by wayshrine

Just establishing the baseline. Ported in, attacked the enemy with light attacks and hard-casted frags. Additionally, I included the results from hitting a target skeleton. The numbers for a target skeleton should be identical, and indeed, they are. (Also, LOL at that crit RNG--I wasn't using Acuity.)

Test #2: Max-level character, Group Finder queue

When you queue in for a dungeon, you'll see that your Spell and Weapon Damage are 25% higher than usual. The tooltips for your abilities are correspondingly higher, too. But when you actually hit the enemy, you'll notice that you're doing the exact same amount of damage as before, and you'll see this with both the in-game Combat Text and with combat log addons. The character sheet and ability tooltips are incorrect.

Test #3: Low-level character, normal entrance by wayshrine

This is a character from one of my bank mule accounts. Level 50, CP 13 with random low-level gear.

Test #4: Low-level character, Group Finder queue

Notice how the character sheet has a buff called "Looking For Group"? This buff exists only if you queue with a character that's below level 50 and/or below CP160. You don't see this buff on your character sheet with a character that can wear max-level gear. And you'll notice that in this case, the damage boost actually does work.

The Takeaway:

Yes, there is a Group Finder stat boost, designed to help characters who are below level 50 and/or below CP160. If you're eligible for this stat bonus, you'll see the "Looking For Group" buff on your character sheet.
This stat boost does not apply to characters who can wear max-level gear.
The character sheet and ability tooltips are bugged and incorrect: They indicate that max-level characters will get a damage boost, but actual combat reveals that you are doing normal damage.
This is not new. I first tested this during the One Tamriel patch in 2016; this most recent demonstration is to show that this is still the case during the Dragon Bones patch in 2018. It's possible that it's been like this even before One Tamriel.
If you do have a non-max-level character, though, it's worth queuing for the damage buff.
I believe that the bug is with the character sheet and tooltips reflecting the Spell/Weapon Damage buff and that the lack of a buff for max-level characters is intended. It makes no sense to hand out a buff this strong to max-level characters. Something like this would've eroded the challenge of difficult content and devalued difficult dungeon achievements.

Not talking about Alcast’s Stam Sorc, seen it, liked it, so forth. Can any of the OTHER classes (namely dragon knights) pull off similar or better results? If so, what skills? I know sets arent so important but am struggling with what skill line up to use.

Would like to have a burst heal in pvp, (so not vigor) and trying to decide between soothing spores or polar wind (with 27k health),

Since I'm stam based Soothing spores would make sense but since Polar wind scales off max health I would get a burst heal and HOT, although weaker.

opinions?

Well I figure that if DC and complain about this issue so can AD. I'm really getting tired of watching EP plant themselves every night in the south. It doesn't matter who's in first place. It's always EP to the east pushing south DC to the west pushing south. Grow a pair and fight each other for a change.

Zaan shoulders and Urgarlag's undaunted chest

So, I've been after a heavy Domihaus shoulder for the last few days. I've used my keys on other builds, so I'm just using them as I go.
The problem here, is that the last 7 keys I've used, I've gotten Zaan light epaulets. 7. In a row.
I'm glad the new stuff is dropping so frequently for those that want them, but I don't need Zaan...I need Domihaus!
One more pledge to go today, and if I get another Zaan shoulder, I'm pretty sure I'll lose what's left of my sanity.
I think Urgarlag Chief-bane's reward chest might be stuck.
