Almost CP500 Looking for Guild

I am quickly approaching CP500, and I am looking for new friends to enjoy the game with.

I would prefer a social guild with a sense of humor that does some regular events and has a helpful community.

I mostly PVE (PVP still kind of scares me - but I want caltrops!) and I have characters in EP and AD.

I have over 2000 hours in the game (possibly because I've left my launcher up - oops), but I am still learning and could use some help in getting my dps up to where it needs to be on a consistent basis. Currently, my main tends to be somewhere between 20-30k dps, but I have not yet gotten the hang of animation canceling or weaving (please, send help! lol), and I would like to not be a potato or constantly surprised by my combat metrics. I am not looking for an elitist guild that requires me to be BiS or make a race I don't want to play to be "the best." I just want to have fun with a silly bunch of people and improve my game play in hopes of actually being able to run veteran trials without wanting to run away screaming or feeling like I'm being carried through.

I am already in 2 social guilds, a crafting guild, and a trading guild. My fifth slot has been sort of a revolving door, and I'm hoping to find somewhere that is a good fit and where I want to stay long-term. I have no preference on size, as long as the guild is fairly active and is good company. I'm willing to help out with events (ie. skyshard hunting, dolmen and world boss destruction, questing, hide & seek, Cards Against Humanity, delve running, thievery & murder, auctions, etc), if needed.

I am in ET, but my online times are fairly random (I am usually on in the later evenings, though). If I sound like I might be a good fit in your guild, please message me or send a mail in-game to @Casaia.

Hero of Wrothgar achievement bugged?

Hey,

from what ive found i am supposed to get the three wrothgar costumes after gaining the "hero of wrothgar" achievement. i just gained said achievement however the costumes are still locked. am i missing something or is my account bugged. i did get hit by the bug that reset my story quest back to an earlier stage after i had completed it some time ago.

We're at 720 cp. Most of us farm vma in our sleep. Some of us are even using a broom and bucket!

It's time for a new more difficult single player Trial.

Maybe we could even get some useful weapons besides a bow.

Hi,

I am having a hard time deciding which to use for PVP.

I am told that the Warden is very strong in PVP over the DK as its much more bursty, but how much more effective is it in PVP than the DK ?

Secluded Sewer heist - Werewolf boss lag bug

The boss that spawns after you are asked to return to Fa'ren-dar just pauses randomly and "teleports" to various spots. You can think you've avoided him, and next find yourself instantly dead in a "lag death". It's a regular occurrence.'

Ps4 NA server. Happened today to me. Happens anytime the boss spawns and you don't see him but he's on your location.

'Hide Helmet', how about having a 'Hide Armour' feature.

We have costumes and we have the outfit station, however, sometimes you might just wanna run around in just a guild tabbard...you know...for guild events and stuff. Rather than taking the armour off and just equipping a tabbard....which will lead to insta-death depending on what you're doing...could we maybe get a 'Hide Armour' option, similar to 'hide helmet'. Would be cool.

What Is Your Opinion on Defile?

What is your opinion on the de-buff of defile? Both from a PvE and PvP perspective. Should it be buffed, nerfed, or left as it is?

Also, I please be aware that I’m talking about both major and minor defile. As well as sets and or mechanics that apply practically “perma-defile” (e.g. Durok’s Bane).

Stealth nerf to transmute crystals farm from ROTW

No longer can you log into multiple characters a day and get the rewards of the worthy transmute geode. Instead it's once a day.

Not a massive thing but still I think this was efficient way of farming transmutation crystals, maybe why it was limited to once per day.

I didn't read patch notes for dragon bones so was unaware of change.

How do you feel about the change?

It is more a hindrance than anything.

I currently have about 20 RotW I'm sitting on in the mail, to open one day at a time I'm on.

So, time for another one of these threads, felt like its important to bring these topics up, talk about them, and try to push some good ideas on how to fix them. The current state of PvE is absolutely ridicolous, where the likes of crashes, disconnects, people being invisible, and the content not being overall rewarding with the exception of plunder. The problem is the endgame PvE is rapidly dying, people are getting burned, and sadly, new players dont seem interested in it at all, and this is something that needs to be adressed, and dealt with. Keep in mind, these issues are not towards the dungeons, the dungeons in fact is very enjoyable, and pretty rewarding.

1. Bugs, crashes, performance and other issues.

Right now we have plenty of issues that is happening, and these have been reported days, weeks, even months ago, and have still not been addressed. I know the ZoS team is working their hardest to fix these issues, but its time to step it up. Crashes is probably the most demotivating thing, they seem to be occuring alot as of late, and its been several patches without any fix for them. Then we have performance issues, which is the real killer. Alot of people are having performance issues, and if you're gonna raid in ESO, then dont expect to sit at more than 25-30 fps. I have no idea what is causing these issues, but even heavy machines seems to be having these issues, and its been since FOREVER. I know there's been talks of improvements to this, but I would love some more insight in to this. Then we have bugs, bugs thats been reported YEARS ago, and still remain unfixed. Everything from invisible things, broken mechanics, and such. Alot of things needs to be done with the current content.

2. Leaderboard rewards

In Cyrodiil, we have leaderboard rewards such as end of the campaign rewards, emperor, and such. In PvE, we have weeklies, thats it, and usually, the weeklies doesnt tend to really yield that good loot. What im asking for, is rewards for being on top of leaderboards, it would be a big incentive for people start raiding for scores. Now, what these rewards should be, can be discussed. My personal favourite, that would be purely cosmetic, would be a title for holding the #1 spot in each trial, just how being an emperor gives you the title emperor. Now, I also think that at the end of each patch, we should see some kind of rewards for the top placements in each trial. Whilst the current rewards are nice, only rewarding us with liquid gold is a bad idea for the sake of the economy. The days where we would farm sanctum ophidia for viper daggers, and to sell them, is what we need. Everyone remembers back when vDSA was released, people would fight desperately hard for the weekly, at the chance of recieving a legendary healer or footman ring, this is something that needs to be bringed back. The polymorph in vAS was a long way to go for this, but we need more, especially to revive the craglorn trials.

3. Balance changes

Whilst I understand that you do balance changes in big patches with new DLC releases, I think its important to start listening to the playerbase, and to experienced players in this game. Whilst I do understand that its hard to balance a game perfectly, I believe its possible to balance a game to make every class a wanted class in a trial, and accepted class. Right now, its simply unheard of in competitive raiding guilds, that the likes of magicka templars, magicka dks, magicka wardens has any places there dps wise. Maybe some classes are supposed to only be played one way, but they all have the kit to be played in these ways. I would love to have some more transperency between ZoS and endgame players who has an idea what they're talking about.

I would love to see people come in this thread with ideas, suggestions, or things they'd like to see adressed when it comes to PvE.

Hey all! While the title gives it away a bit that a rant is incoming, I want to preface things by saying I love this game. I have an ungodly number of hours in ESO, and honestly, I have no plans to stop anytime soon. There are however some things that I think could go a long way to helping with the new dungeons. If you only read this, just know that I do not want the game easier, what I want is a challenge that encourages mediocre players to get better and urges the best to refine and perfect. So, without further ado, have some feedback and ideas for how to help to fix.

Fang Lair:
Vivivivivivifiers – I love them. Good job. Nice mechanic and novel way to force us to prioritize.
The Menagerie Boss – The dogs. They seem to be a little inconsistent with their attempts to murder your face in a blaze of gory glory. I think it is because the only blow up on their ‘target’ so you can get a false sense of hope when the wrong dog touches you. Maybe some sort of targeting indicator when a doggo thinks you have the treats and aren’t sharing?
Final Boss (HM) – The ghosts for the burn phase. Please. If it is going to be a one-shot there should not be any guess work. Put an enemy ground AoE indicator on them. Simple fix, but a huge one.

Scalecaller Peak:
Plague Rats – Such a good idea. Honestly? Make the effect they leave hurt more at least in vet. Maybe stacking damage so the longer you stand in it the deader you are? Anything really, except a one-shot. Gives the healer something to do and makes a really neat mechanic not be something we just ignore (because we all ignore it right now).
Lemonades – I hate these mobs. Good job. Leave them as they are. Still hate them.
Final Boss (HM) – Where to start…. List within a list time!
  • The poison pie slices are nice. Roll dodge gets you killed in them though because it moves you when the animation ends. The amount of deaths I have video of where on my screen I am not in the pie slice is a little maddening. And not even all of those were due to roll dodging. I think it is just a latency issue, but every run we have people dying in there to a one-shot that on their screen they are not in. Maybe make the borders more forgiving?
  • The stupid effing shield mechanic. On normal you stand in it. On HM for some reason it is now a synergy. A synergy mind you that appears to act like synergies used to, so activating it is a pain because of other animations. Oh, and sometimes the person who is stoned will be there in the shield and the game has you un-stone rather than shield. Just make it so the synergy for the shield is instant and overrides animations and then make it so that if you are in range for that synergy it will show above all others.
  • Zaan’s timings are…whew. The game likes to Zaan someone and then during the animation for them dropping out of it there will be a poison pie slice and now you have a dead teammate. Please just make sure that everyone has full control of their character before one-shotting them. (Obviously this doesn’t apply to if we stand in stupid and use our geyser/ice/stone when we aren’t supposed to, but at least those at least make you immune.)
  • The amount of one-shots vs standard damage. You are aware that groups are running 3 DPS and a tank for this because a healer is not useful. That is not okay. Please tell me (I am a healer main) that this wasn’t the intent. Maybe make some stuff leave you with a small fraction so it can be saved? Anything. Please
.

Both Dungeons:
The HM mechanics are nothing like the standard vet mechanics. Most of the ‘HM’ changes fully depend on one-shots and RNGeesus being satisfied with you. I love to teach people. I hate that the change in here from normal vet to HM isn’t something I can prepare people for at all. We just tell people flat out that the difference is laughable. I understand wanting to make people must be aware of positioning and the like, but this many one-shots is just….it is bad. Any time you have designed something where one of the holy trinity is not needed and is honestly a hindrance is a bad design in an MMO. There is a difference between us /choosing/ to run 3 DPS because we want a speed run and can sustain and the game suggesting we do it because the healer would be useless.

Obviously this list is likely not complete, but I think it is a start and I think the changes I want will help to keep the difficulty high but induce less gamer rage. Thanks for the time reading this.

Aetherian Archive Bug - Celestial Mage Stuck in Animation Loop

I wanted to add a screenshot to the Aetherian Archive bug my guild encountered today, this was the clearest shot I managed to get. We're not sure what caused it, we didn't do anything out of the ordinary and I can't find any other reports of this happening, so we're not sure if this was a weird one-off or something's broken in the last patch.

The Celestial Mage got stuck in the axe summoning animation for most of the final fight, and also had a shield (we think the bubble she's in before she descends didn't fully wear off?) and took reduced damage. As you can see, we're at 57% and there are no conjured axes active - she consistently failed to summon them. She did however continue to spawn Conjured Reflections, mines, and black holes.

Wiping the group was the only thing that fixed the bug and made the fight go back to how it normally is so that we could complete the trial.

glyphs and weapon damage questions

Ads "up to" 802 magicka to your armor. but when I enhance I only get 324 max magicka, can someone elaborate. my stamina and magicka dropped significantly

My legs have a max 802 max stamina glyph, but when I tried to add that same glyph to my waist and feet, I only got max 324, How to I get that armor enhancement to give me that 802 stamina I was looking for?


Also........
I got bored with my CP 380 character and started a new one, learning mechanics and stuff, Once I was at level 38 I had my CP 380 character make my level 38 character a hundings rage set, this brought my weapon damage to over 2800 with all divine traits wearing sword-swingers jewelry. When I reached level 41, without changing anything other then higher level sword-swinger jewelry, my weapon damage dropped by 300+. Have no idea why. Now I reached level 50, I made CP 160 Hunding's rage set, and changed my jewelry to Agility set, well, EVERYTHING dropped, my stamina, my magicka, my weapon damage. I added armor glyphs to increase my mag, stam, but weapon damage is only at 2500. Trying to figure how to raise my stam back to where I had it, which was 20 000, 2700 less then what it is now. AND, my weapon damage back to 2887.

High pingers , how much single target DPS do you do? (350ms+ latency)

For me no matter what I do my DPS is not going over 14K.

Any thoughts on a sorcerer healer build?

This is my first healer build I just threw together for sorc, so let me know if theres any easy ways to improve it. some of the skills can be swapped for different situations of course, the most obvious of those i put on the 3rd bar in the build planner.

We are a friendly and fun Dungeon running/Trial guild with over 470+ members that is currently recruiting returning and new players. We focus on trials, dungeon running, and pledge running along with having a mix of other PVE content that we do.

We help players who want to improve their builds and learn to play end game content. We have officers who are knowledgeable in many different classes and builds to help players improve their skills and ability.

What our guild has to offer you should you choose to join our ranks:

* We run dungeons daily and have pledge runners.

* We run several trials a week in the evenings EST time. Right now we run them wed-sun night. We run vet trials 2-3 nights a week EST time. 25k dps min required for DPS roles.

* We have a balanced mix of vet and new players so the environment fosters encouragement for new players and opportunity for vets to share their knowledge and teach their skills if they choose.

* We do pub-crawls, shard runs, and WB runs.

* We have a great guild of helpful members and officers.

* We are laid back and casual. No fees. No foolishness. Just a nice guild for people to meet players and have fun in the game with them.

* We have a guild hall with two test dummies and the GM's house has a crafting area, two test dummies, a Transmutation Station as well as a merchant, banker and a very bad ass car that was built by a guildie for our guild house!

* We use discord for trials and communications as well as fun stuff. Members are fun and friendly.

Moment of Reckoning - PVE Guild

Moment of Reckoning is a PVE guild on the Xbox North American server. We are currently accepting members of all types and of any alliance.

A few things about MoR:

• We use Discord for easy communication and scheduling of events. Also have a new Facebook page and Group for those interested.
• We have dungeon/pledge teams and would love to have many more. (This is great for people that may want to complete daily pledges, have a steady group to rely on to complete the dungeon group content without having to pug.)
• We have open normal trials for all progression members and we are working to fill the vet progression team now.
• We have active members leveling and they would be happy to join you if you are also questing to level.
• We have several 9 trait crafters for your crafting needs.
• Our Guildmaster has a guild house that is open to everyone as a "guild house". (This is still a work in progress)
• We have a fun guild Daggerfall Covenant PVP night weekly on Thursday's.

We would also love to have some members for the daytime hours 8-4 cst.

MoR is a very friendly guild and we strive to help our members with whatever they wish to achieve within the game. I could go on and on.... But who really wants to read all that.

Werewolf Theorycrafting (PvP)

Became a little inspired when I saw a few theorycrafting-threads here on the forums and decided to start another one, but this time about werewolf-gameplay in PvP. There´s a great guide/thread about werewolf which you can find here:

However, it would be interesting to see what insights the community has regarding these creatures and what we can do to help/improve. To narrow it down a little bit I thought it could be good to have some questions to work with:

* What assets do we´ve in order to dps/deal damage, and how can it be improved?

* How can we make sure we´re tanky enough to stay alive in a fight?

* How do you tackle sustain (both magicka and stamina) as a werewolf?

* How much can you trade damage for survivability and still be effective? (Damage VS Sustain VS Tankiness)

* Werewolf VS other classes? How to handle certain classes while in WW-form.

* Group-play VS Solo?

Try to include as much as possible. Everything from gear, potions, poisons, enchants, class, race etc.....

Try to keep this thread a theorycrafting thread and not a "nerf/buff"- thread (unless it´s relevant for the topic)

Thought this would be dropped with the new patch...Then it didn't. Thought it'd be released with the Thieves Guild Anniversary since it's in Hew's Bane...Then it didn't. I'm out of potential new guesses. When is the next crown patch? When can I get this ridiculous house?!
