Never had any problems before but now when I use a controller the game puts my user name above my characters head even though I have selected use my characters name.Turn off game pad mode and it works properly.Also sometimes when I try to interact with a quest givers I hear the Voice but no options for responses and exit conversation are visible.Have to hit escape to get out of it.Has anyone run into this before.Maybe one of the 10 mods I have causing this?I've turned each mod off individually and it doesnt seem to fix the problem.Any Ideas?

Speed running build for Orc stamsorc
I have a speed running build that i am working on and want to know if I am missing something out for gaining max speed without having to resort to the using the steed mundus which I believe is now capped at 100%, below is the front bar of my build:
5x cowards gear (3x jewels + s and b)
5x fiords legacy (5x armour pc's)
velidreth (ix heavy + 1x medium)
total of 6 medium armour pc's.
from gear, cp, skills and racial I get this:
racial = 10%
armour = 18%
hurricane = 10%
cowards gear = 30%
fiords = 15%
windrunner = 2%
which totals 85% speed boost, the steed mundus would give me a further 5%, but as i state i would prefer to not use that mundus so I am looking to gain a further 10% to take my Orc to 95% bonus, what am i missing?.. Thanks

How much my DPS should be as a fresh 160CP player, and how can I improve it within reasonable limits
Hello fellow amigos!
I am fairly new to end-game content in the game, and I've just reached CP160 with my first character. I really enjoy the game and I will keep improving every day, but as an MMORPG veteran I am kind of confused as I feel I am doing things right, yet I am told my DPS is very low, so here I am asking for help and I hope you guys can assist me.
I will try to share as much info as I can, if I miss something relevant please let me know!
I am a CP160 Magicka Dragonknight and I am doing 14-15k-ish Single Target DPS.
Weapons - - - Double Purple Julianos Infused Flame Enchanted Inferno Staffs
Gear - - - Full Purple Burning Spellweave Set from City of Ash, but not perfect traits, I only have 1 with Divine so far - No Monster set yet
Accessories - - - Willpower Amulet and Rings
I am also a Vampire.
I am following Alcast's Magicka DPS guide to learn as much as I can and I am following his rotation also

I am using skills according to it, trying to get gear and use CP points as told there.
Combat :
I follow the rotation to the best of my abilities I have good uptimes on dot's and AoEs and I also weave light attacks between all skills and ani-cancel.
I use Food buff to have more Magicka and Health, but I don't use Potions yet.
Resource management is tough, but I now manage to not run out of magicka if I have a healer with good synergies. MagDK is pretty tough to not run out on Magicka.
As I mentioned I am doing around 14k DPS like this, and I am told I should do between 20-25k, and I don't know how I can even get close to that right now. I don't consider myself a noob at all, and that is what confuses me.
I am mainly interested if that is corrent or not and to quote the title "reasonable limits" : I meant that without having to spend hundreds of thousands of gold on things like gold item upgrades or getting a Maelstrom staff from VMA.
Things things will come with time, but I can't get those yet, I am working on it![:hushed:]( ":hushed:")

Argonian Magicka dps build?
Hi my follow ESO players.
I have played in a year on the EU server. In July last year I was begin to like Argonians in the game. Today I only play Argonians that means my Tank, Stam DPS and Healer are all Argonian and I dont regret it. I'm now looking for a magicka build to continue my journey and like the others I want him to be an Argonian aswell.
So what I need to know is what class is the easiest way and most fun way to build a Magicka build in your opinon.
I have one of all classes so I just need to give one a respec and try it out or I use the event to make a new Hatchling
I still make my own choose for that build / class I like best

This is Embarrassing (How Some Experienced PVP Players are Treating New Players)
In the past few days I've been seeing experienced PVP players camping quest towns and killing and teabagging new-to-PVP players who clearly want nothing to do with fighting or capturing flags, and are only there to quest during the anniversary event. I can fully understand killing a group of lowbies once or twice if you're unsure about their intentions, but when that group consistently tries to avoid you and never fights back or tries to flag capture, why not just leave them alone?
It's such a bad look, and I get why some people complain about the PVP experience and don't even want to try it.
I've been talking to some new players who politely asked (through xbox messaging) an enemy alliance group that kept killing them if they could just quest (because they obviously stood no chance against these players). They were met with responses full of swears, insults, and general unpleasantness so they just left and went back to PVE. It's embarrassing.

How are you coping?
Since all this maintenance and whatnot is happening, I’ve noticed the flood of threads complaining about how the event is unplayable. And a lot of negativity towards ZOS. So, without being negative or taking a rude stance/complaining, how are you dealing with all this? Are you praying that the servers will be fixed? Quitting ESO forever? Taking a nap? Complaining in the forums? (won’t be mad if you say this haha)

Keep in mind I don't PVP a ton but a few duels here and there. I think I'm about an average player. For PVP I run Iceheart, Necropotence, and Mother's sorrow with a Asylum Ice staff and resto staff. I'm a Magicka Warden.
I went into Dil to do the dailies in Bruma while this event is going on. I encountered a Magicka DK who was a vampire. This guy was a very good player and took on 3 of us blues. He killed some squishy person while I bursted him down and easily healed himself back to full after with his whip and turning me to stone. (not familiar with DK skills). I had to heal a lot while fighting him and he seemed to stay topped up quite a bit. (meanwhile I'm healing the other player who is being wrecked). This lasted a couple minutes and finally he turned into mist and was able to get away but ran into a few more of us and died.
My point being, what's the problem with mag DKs? He had sufficient heals, damage, sustain etc. I think some of you just want your class to be buffed. Well so do I and my main stun is being taken away in pvp.
Maybe Mag DK needs a buff in PvE I don't know.

ok ok so just to state what rich said. lore comes from lots of ingame accounts of stuff.
do you think when the author of the ingame book describing summerset and alinor wrote his book that he thought people would be interested in hearing about stone buildings?
probably not. we have not had anything to go on but his words. so why not exaggerate something so his readers are more entertained? its not like anyone can prove him wrong! people were not allowed there so his word was accepted at face value.
so all this hype behind insect wing buildings and glass and crystal. none of it was anything more then the account of an imperial writing a book. Not Concrete Information.
so please being that this is the first time we have seen the isle since arena can we just be happy to get something so beautiful and unique. Stop defending and standing bulwark to some npc's writings.

guild trader system
i think we have had just about every suggestion on the trader system , but i do think there is room for more thought on this , its so frustrating haveing the slow me down addons to help , and then spending shed loads of time and effort trying to find and buy stuff , never mind selling stuff .
as it stands only the very rich guilds have the most benefits , example 1 trade guild i am in have spend god know how much to have a better location , omg i am selling tons of stuff i have been sitting on for years , so i have to help them now.
most dont like changes , but the system dont work for everyone , its like any nerf thats actually a balance , many players start throwing thier dummys out of the pram posts like we still get.
so i say to all of you stop thinging of your self and think of the game and help eso find a better solution , to a frustrating system .
i will say a overall eve online system would benefit all and beyond , because now we just have traders , in eve you have just about every know system in banking , investements / loans , contracts haulage , the list goes on .
example 1 eve online player has been trusted with trillions of deals with other players , buying and selling , investements , loans ,just to name a few on the transactions he has handled , we could in eso have the same sort of thing ,

Any recommendations for a "Starter" House?
I have the quested apartment, but in a small room, I find its not really worth the effort to be that creative. Also, my guild has an incredible house with all of the crafting stuff and npc's available, so I wouldn't really bother with that.
Basically, I'm just considering a basic house (no more than a million or 2 or 3 thousand crowns) that might be convieniently located (I basically use Belkarth as a homebase now) to banks, thieve's guild, traders etc..
I know I could tour these myself, but there are an awful lot, so I thought the masses might have already formed some opinions about good values and certain places to avoid.
Even though there's not a real benefit to having my own house, having maxed crafters and accumulating so many diagrams and materials, I almost feel like I have to mess around with it.
Or should I just save my money and crowns.
