AU based 'Order of the Star' social guild is recruiting!

The Order of the Star is recruiting friendly people who enjoy helping others and being social - we're a social guild after all! We have members in Australia, the US and other areas of the world, so we're active regardless of the timezone! We have over 220 members at the moment (it varies, depending on the day) of all races and factions. We're noob AND vet friendly, have a very active guild chat, and are often doing guild PVE activities like public or group dungeons, world bosses and trials, and some of us are jumping into Cyrodiil for PVP activities too. We use Discord for forum-type information and discussions as well as for voice chat, and we have a weekly raffle for members to win prizes while helping the guild raise funds to purchase furnishings for the guild house (Earthtear Cavern).

We're a family friendly guild (we're a swearing-free zone), and all ages are welcome. We have rules available in Discord that encourage members to be respectful and supportive while having a good time, and we don't hesitate in quickly removing any 'bad eggs'. New members are encouraged to join Discord to read our rules and stay up to date with guild announcements and information, and we also remove members if they haven't logged in to the game in 21 days, so our guild is always active. Our goal is to have fun, and we do pretty well at that.

A bit of background... I used to be a beta tester back in 2014, but left the game soon after it went live because of all the bugs and bots. I came back after a few months when I heard they'd been resolved and eventually formed a RP guild called the Crusaders of the Seventh. After a while I took a break from the game for almost a year, and came back again in October 2016. I built the guild up again from nothing (kicking out most of the 40-odd inactive members) but focused on it being a social guild instead. Early 2017, after a week of guild discussion and voting, we changed our name and became the Order of the Star.

We're proud of who we are. We wear our guild tabards with pride. And we have a vision for our future, to be one of the best social guilds of friendly, supportive and active players in all of Tamriel.

We invite you to join us for the ride. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, send me a message in-game or add your in-game @username below and an invite will be coming your way!

Dead guild, bank, etc.

If a guild's leadership has left ESO but the guild is still accessible, e.g., bank, is there any way to assume control? I have an old guild and had a senior position but not enough to manage the guild properly. The leaders have left ESO for good (uninstalled for good) and I wanted to rejuvenate it. Or just use it.

Looking for a guild with older, mature players PS4

I started out playing the beta on computer then had two vet characters on the computer version, but have recently switched over to game console. I haven't been able to find many people to play with and the dungeon finder is of no help. I am looking for a guild with players 18+ that actually like to help each other and are actively playing. So far I have just one character in the Aldmeri Dominion, but I do plan on adding more. Also there are so many new things that have been added since I last played the game. Playing by myself sucks unless I am doing the theives guild quests, but those can get aggravating at times. Serious replies only please. Find me in game under Sahana Barastae the Swift. Voice chat available if required.

All I've been reading from PvE players during this event is the above. Complaining about ganks, kills, ruining their box hunt, etc. Well, i'm here to add a dissenting opinion.

I had not hung out in Cyro for a while until this event. And you know what? I'm remembering why i liked it. Sure, the lag is thick sometimes, but so what? I enjoy watching the chat, looking at the map, studying the tactics being used, and learning how this works again on a grand scale. I learned specing for speed isn't such a waste lol as i've galavanted across the map, learned that not everyone is a jerk, and fed off the thrill of doing quests in an area where im in real danger. Lets face it, PvE content never really makes your blood run cold in fear, so the sensation is nice.

I'm not making excuses for the jerks that are out there ruining times for others, but i am here to say that from this PvE player's perspective (Say that five times fast) that it really hasn't been all bad, and you PvP experts take to much crap for just doing what it is you do. We are in your territory after all and you are there to kill us. You don't hide that fact. I could argue it is the best relationship ive ever had lol becuase the expectations are clear and up front. :)

Anyway, cheers. Not all of us despise and loathe you entirely. Some of us not even a little bit.

The little things

There are a lot of complains and negative threats on the forums, including ones I made myself. But instead of doing that, I want to have one where we appreciate the little things we expierenced or discovered in ESO. I came across this little guy the other day, such a sad sight.

What little things have you come across that you loved or share some good moments you've had here, I'd really like to see/ hear them!
Lets try to keep this threat possitive and fun, so no flaming and complaining please!

Just letting you know, I'm 'Auto Looting Stolen Items' even though it's definitely set to OFF in settings (I double checked).

I've just received a bounty when I accidentally clicked on a container near the Blacksmith station :/

Edit: Ignore this post, it's not a bug. Some piece of **** is leaving stolen items near the crafting stations. If you click on them, you steal them, whether you mean to or not.

Tried to find correct location for this, but as you know the in forum private messages don't get attention and neither does the in game reports through the third party company. So- [snip]
You were very concerned with gold farmers in the beginning of the game due to the amount of revenue that could possibly cost ZOS, much resources were used to prevent that from happening and combating that. Here is something you should really take a look at- just what your players are telling you is happening, undetectable cheats for your game, with video to show potential 'customers' how well it works in game being used. Might want to really take a look at this stuff, your players are not mis informed and over reacting, you have a very serious problem and need to address it. The company brags that you have never busted one of their users. Even if you just have a passing interest you should look into the claims.

What do you guys think about a bards guild

So currently me and three friends after completing a brotherhood contract met up at the anvil wayshrine and started playing the lute and drums and flute with one guy dancing. Everyone around us joined in so I quickly made up a bard based guild and invited the current partiers. I was wondering what you guys thought about it, as I think it was pretty comical, plus it could be pretty cool for role play if it comes to that

How’s This Possible?

I was doing VHRC with 1 of my guilds, and while looting a welwa I came across a Potent Nirncrux. Now wait a minute... I know that Nirncrux may be acquired anywhere in Craglorn, and from harvesting nodes... But, since when could Nirncrux drop from the corpses of NPC’s? Let alone in a trial?

Question for possible returning player

Hi everyone :)

I haven't played ESO in a long time. Was kind of feeling the itch but have two questions.
  1. If I have the steam version, can I buy an expansion on the ESO website and it works or do I need to buy it through steam?
  2. If I buy an expansion, do I get bonus crowns?

I am asking question two because I really want to be able to play the new class from Morrowind. I know when you subscribe for 15 dollars US, you get 1500 crowns, but that wouldn't give me access to Morrowind. But I was wondering since I am spending twenty bucks on a digital upgrade which is more than a 15 subscription, wondering If I received crowns.

I know thirty five dollars wouldn't be a big amount of money but I am on a tight budget right now.

I double post everytime I'm sorry I forgot to refresh the page

I'm new, (only lvl 20 as stated) but I PvP and I'm getting better, but honestly I just like to role play occasionally, and I was wondering if there were any ebonheart pact guilds that did some very lax roleplay

Which of the 10 races would win in a brawl?

A fight, a battle, whatever. If we give each race weapons/magic that they "lore-wise" are familiar with, who would be most fearsome? Which race would be the easiest target?

I know this seems like a hard to answer question, but it's just for fun.

I really have no idea, so I just thought I would make the topic.

I assume Argonians would be tough to fight in Black Marsh, but maybe weaker outside of that?

Which Anniversary Event Cyrodiil Town Quest Archetype Do You Fall Under?

$

There are several dynamics that this event have brought out and ive identified the following (there may be more ofc), which do you fall under?

1) The PvE Quester - this is the dude/dudette that heard Cyrodiil town daily quests were quick and easy. They figured with the cake buff, now was a good time to do them and acquire some AP whilst doing it. Some have the personal responsibility to understand that they are walking into a warzone and try to prepare themselves as much as possible, or fully accept their deaths and take the hit and continue on. Others literally have the entitlement that they should be left alone, in peace to quest because thats all they are there for and are present as non combatants.

2) The PvP Quester - this is the everyday or frequent pvper, who is built for pvp that heard Cyrodiil town daily quests were quick and easy. They figured with the cake buff, now was a good time to do them and acquire some AP whilst doing it. While they are questing, they kill enemy players on sight as if this was their normal pvp. They do not have the intention of ganking or camping the quest hub, simply to quest and pvp at the same time. . . maybe like how those town quests were originally designed to be.

3) The PvE Quester Ganker - this is the everyday or frequent pvper, who is built for pvp that heard Cyrodiil town daily quests were quick and easy. They figured there were going to be a lot of PvE questers partaking in this event whom they consider "Carebears" and lay in stealth, ready to gank and grief any and all PvE Questers they encounter. Every once in a while they slip up and try to gank an actual pvper, and when they die they send hate whispers.

4) The PvPer - These are players who pvp daily or very often, who have no interest in the event benefits, who just want to pvp like they normally do on a day to day basis. They can be soloers, small scale, medium scale, or large scale and they will focus on objectives or AP gain and kill/capture anything that provides those gains to them, no matter the circumstance.

Cyrodiil is more alive than its been since Midyear Mayhem and I am proud and enthusiastic that all these archetypes are coming together and I hope with Summerset and the new quests that GIVE PVP SPECIFIC COSTUMES keep you all coming back for more :)

Maybe I should just play at 3am right?

That's all. Delete or whatever.
