Do "Bloodmages" exist in Elder Scrolls?
I know in many fantasies, they have a mage called a bloodmage. Take the Dragon Age series for example. I know it hasn't been touched much since Vampire Lords in Skyrim, but it could be said their "Health Drain" spell could be blood magic. However, could anyone learn blood magic (from a lore standpoint not just game)? I also ask, because I'm a RPer, and wanted to call my NB mage a bloodmage. Because the siphon spell looks very similar to the Vampire Lords health drain, as well bloodmage spells seen in Dragon Age.

Ice or fire for a nord tank?
I mean the winters embrace skill line of the warden is pretty similar to the draconic power of the dragonknight. I plan to tank with my Nord but i do not know which one is better for the Nord racial passivew of cold resistance. Maybe ice? Or maybe fire?

Malevolent Offering
Malevolent Offering: This ability and its morphs now smart heal an ally in front of you instantly, instead of healing a specific target over time. Each cast of these abilities will place a damage over time effect on you that drains your health over 8 seconds.
So I went on pts and spammed the skill because I actually thought i could heal myself but I died in a few seconds.I think It's the worst designed skill in the game a heal that cost hp can either be op or trash (being trash since the modification tho) even the old agony was better/more usefull. Atleast make a small heal on the caster even 50-75% of the base heal plz .
Let's not talk about the other morph of cloak being a trash hot version of dragonblood (not even usefull in pve ).
The class is actually decent in PvP but there is only one way to play it (with shields) because of the amount of defile debuffs that stamina players can apply , it's impossible to sustain only with hots solo open worlds .Healing ward being the only burst "heal" costing 4100 magicka in light armor.
Nightblade shouldn't be able to heal but ZOSactually managed to make a skill that can't even be cast on the user .
Change Malevolant offering next update pls![:) :)]()

Guide : The great Houses motifs - Telvanni - Redoran - Hlaalu
hey , i already made a a guide on the french side, but i think this could also help some peoples.
Informations :
With horn of the reach they introduced 3 new motifs ( Telvanni - Redoran - Hlaalu )
Mats:
With these motifs, they added new "style mats " , that you can find like these motifs ... by stealing vvardenfell citizens, most of the time you will need 10 of each mats to refin and be able to create 1 telvanii-reodran-hlaalu items, and rarely you will steal a " style mats " already refined
You can also get these " style mats " ( btw i still use the word " style mats " say me if i'm wrong) by deconstucting Vvardenfell gear/weapons ( telvanni-reodran - hlaalu style of course ), i think it's like the minotaur style mats, the chance to get Style mats will depend of pages you have learned
![513154Screenshot201708291529071.png]()
Maximize the loots/gold:
if you want to farm these page , delete all your " white " stolen items cause you can only sell 140 items to the fencer ( it's better to only sell green/blue/purple items ) , this will maximize the gold you will get in your sessions.
Legerdemain/thieves guild/dark brother hood passif are also very usefull.

Can We Get An Official Statement on Increased Crashes on Xbox?
Ever since the Dragon-Bones patch, myself and many other players have noticed a large increase in the amount of crashes to the Xbox Dashboard.
This is an extremely serious issue. When you crash, you are not only wasting your own time, but the time of everyone else in your group as well. If you are in a trial, that is 11 other people impacted every time someone crashes.
This section of the forums already feels as if it is being ignored most of the time, please do not continue to ignore us by not acknowledging these crashes. The crashes were an issue before but since DB patch they are even worse.

Guild Medieval - [PC/NA/All Alliances/Any Level/Mature/Social/Family Oriented]
Guild Medieval was founded in 2001 as a haven for Diablo 2 players wishing to play in a mature, safe environment free of hacks and obnoxious behavior. We have since branched out to DDO, D3, WoW, PoE, NW and Tera, and are exploring other worlds besides. In DDO we are known as The Silver Legion, and have become one of the largest, most successful, and stable guilds on Cannith.
We are duplicating our efforts here, offering a home to any gamer that recognizes the value in our level of organization and sterling reputation. We are family-friendly, helpful, and courteous. Thematically, we are built around the idea of feudal kingdoms and orders of knights with a strong code of conduct. Many of our members form friendships that last beyond the games we play (some have even gotten married).
Guild Medieval is foremost a community of like-minded people who happen to like playing online games together. We are only concerned about the person behind the keyboard, and not your gear or accomplishments. When joining us, you join our community which means interacting with members on our forums and not just in-game. We are always recruiting, and our requirements are strict.
*No Profanity.
*No Harassment.
*No Sexism/Racism/Bigotry.
*No Hacks.
*No Cheating.
We encourage fair play, courtesy, and camaraderie, with players both in-guild and out.
Register on our forum to see our full list of rules and policies, and fill out the application. All serious applications are considered and replied to–this means filling out the reason for joining with more than just a couple sentences. Responses are usually within 48 hours. Check back for PMs on our forums regarding your application. Applications with little information, poor grammar, or generally showing a lack of earnestness will not be considered.
To reiterate, we are highly selective. We are a guild of friends, and it’s hard to make new friends with someone who doesn’t make an effort in an introduction. Showing us you want to belong and value the same things we do will go a long way in your application. Your application is viewable by any member, so keep in mind that this is how you are presenting yourself to the guild.
Please use this thread for any questions you may have or PM directly about it.
Q&A Section
Q: Are there playtime requirements?
A: None at all. Play as much as you like. Even if you quit Elder Scrolls Online, our forums are open to you (given that you have become a knight–a full and permanent member of the guild).
Q: What timezones do you play in?
A: Guild Medieval is international, with members split about evenly between the Americas and Europe, and with a good representation from Australia and East Asia. Peak times tend to be evenings for both US and EU, but there are usually a few members on at all times.
Q: Which Megaserver do you play on?
A: Starting our guild chapter into Elder Scrolls Online, we will be located on the NA server to start with. In the future we might consider expanding on the EU server too. That said, we accept applicants from all across the world, not just NA.
Q: Which faction will you support?
A: Due to One Tamriel, we support all factions. The guild however was founded in Daggerfall Covenant, any member can pick any alliance they want.
Q: Is Discord required?
A: Nope. Some members have hearing difficulties or just don’t like using it. Some have to have it off for household considerations. You will need to communicate by text chat though. While it is not a requirement, we do have a Discord server, and lots of our members choose to use it.
Q: Is it required to use the guild forums?
A: Yes! We are first and foremost an online community, one that happens to play games together. You do not have to be a posting maniac, but you do have to show that you can and will participate.
Q: It’s okay to swear, talk about doing drugs, sex, and other “adult” topics, right?
A: Well, no. When we say “mature” we also mean having the ability to keep polite company. We are family-friendly, meaning we keep things we don’t want our children hearing out of our guild gaming. You can swear to your heart’s content with your mic off, but we keep our forums and chat clean.
Q: What are your age requirements?
A: Under 16 we take some consideration. Otherwise age is not a factor. As long as you are mature in thought and action, that’s enough. We also have a special “Page” rank for younger children of members.
Q: What does your guild provide to its members?
A: A safe and friendly gaming environment. That’s all. We get you away from griefers, cheaters, the dishonest, and the people you just don’t want to be around. We have lots of nice members who gladly share loot and will help you in many and various ways, but none of that is guaranteed. A lot of what you get out is what you put in. Share and be helpful, and you’ll see it come right back to you.
Q: How skilled/experienced do I have to be to join?
A: Skill and experience are not factors in joining or becoming full members of Guild Medieval. We have very skilled players and players that are still learning the game. We are only concerned about the person in front of the screen. If you have the qualities we share that make you a good person, and not necessarily a good player, we will be happy to have you.
Q: I put in an application but didn’t hear back. Was I not accepted? What should I do?
A: Remember that communications are handled through our website. After you apply, you do need to check back on the site, especially to see if you have received any Personal Messages (PMs). Also check your spam folder since we do send e-mail by default when you receive a PM, post in open forum we have for waiting applicants or reply to this thread. Once you are accepted, you’ll have a rank of “Squire” and will be able to view the rest of our forums. Check our site even if you did not receive a welcome letter by e-mail.
Q: I put in an application but I didn’t get any e-mails or PMs, and I can’t even log into the site anymore. What happened?
A: You were either outright rejected, or we attempted to contact you via PM on our site and you did not reply within a week. See above about how selective we are. Things that will get your application rejected:
*Breaking rules in your application like swearing (yes, even acronyms and replacing letters with stars), or giving graphic examples of derogatory behavior you have encountered elsewhere. We already know it is out there so we don’t need specific examples of horrible things said to you or witnessed. Your application is publicly viewable, so we cannot allow those examples in the applications. Keep your application instead positive and focused on how you and Guild Medieval will be a good match.
*Applying with a forum, account, or character name that breaks our rules. We get a surprising number of these despite detailing what is not allowed in our rules. Check your names over. Do any of them break the rules that you agreed to before filling out the application, or could they be interpreted a way you didn’t intend?
*Only writing a couple sentences or telling nothing of substance about yourself. Your gaming history is fine to list (we actually have a separate place for it on your profile once your account is created), but it could belong to anyone. What is it about you that will make our members want to know you?
*Poor spelling and grammar. We don’t expect perfection, and understand difficulties especially if your first language isn’t English, but we do expect your best effort. Communication is very important in online games, and if your application gives a headache to someone trying to decipher it, it will not be considered.

Summerset P2W?
Friend of mine has decided he’s not getting the next expansion as it’s P2W. As much as I want to disagree with him I am finding he has some very valid points. The main 2 being you will be able to purchase jewellery crafting research scrolls allowing you to max out researching far quicker than the base game did all those years ago. This in turn will allow you to craft and make money quicker then anyone else not prepared to spend real money. This is something I can handle but there is some truth to what he says.
Next is the biggest problem for him and now myself. We both liked to play mostly pvp and now there’s a serparate skill line locked behind a pay wall. What happens when someone is killed by this said skill line ? We have all seen there’s a few skills people will be using and to good effect in pvp. So now to him the game has become P2W.
I can understand his point and I will be loosing a friend to this. I understand NEW content should be locked behind pay walls etc but a whole skill line seems pretty harsh to people who don’t have the money. I myself still haven’t completed any imperial city, thieves guild, dragon bones or clockwork city content so summerset is only back logging my content further. I’m in two minds whether to purchase summerset or not.

Add on to hide or sort collectables?
Does anyone know if there's an addon that makes it possible to either hide collectables you don't like/never use or to sort them so ones you do like appear at the top of the list?
I bought the hair styles pack so I can switch between all the default styles and I'm thinking about buying the ones for accessories and markings too. But I only actually use a few on each character because the rest don't suit them and it's annoying to have to sort through the whole list to find the ones I want. It would be really nice if I could hide all the ones I never use, or at least move them down the list.
It would be nice to be able to hide that bug mount that everyone got for having Morrowind as well.

[Performance Tweaks] Lite for PC
Hi all,
Recently, I made a huge thread for increasing ESO performance on all PC/Laptop.
In this version we only edit some changes in the UserSettings.txt. So this is not a MEGA thread. But this is almost the TL;DR version.
Simply make those changes in your UserSettings.txt
SET MinFrameTime.2 "0.00694444
SET HIGH_RESOLUTION_SHADOWS "0"
SET GPUSmoothingFrames "0"
SET MULTI_GPU_CHECK "0" <- Only if you have 1 graphics card.
SET MIP_LOAD_SKIP_LEVELS "-1"
SET RequestedNumJobThreads "4" <- Try this first, if you have performance issues set this to 0.
SET RequestedNumWorkerThreads "4" <- Try this first, if you have performance issues set this to 0.
So what does it do?
It caps the FPS to 144. Stock = 100. Improves texture mapping. (Sharper textures). Job & Worker threads (CPU Optimalisation). If set to "4" will work better with calculating mass jobs.
ESO will not use 4 threads or cores. This is just to set the Threads how they react.
I have these settings and my ESO is smooth as butter. Yes, 144FPS in general. Rawl'Kha around 70-80. Cyrodiil around 60-80. Even with 50-60, the game will react faster and will be smoother (turning around, etc.)
Please, do let me know if this changed your overall performance by voting.
Please understand that those tweaks are not for LAG or Server related issues.
Please read:
Q: I have a i9 or a i12 with GTX 1090 TI (4x) and 160GB RAM with Windows 12 PRO. I cannot run this game properly.
A: It is not your gear/rig. It is the ENGINE. Please understand that those tweaks are for ALL gears and rigs. My specs i7-7700k and GTX 1080 and 16GB ram VS i3-xxxx with a GTX 670 and 8GB will be the same experience qua performance in ESO. Maybe some FPS increase with the i7 and 1080. But not much.

Would you support the following changes to the Dungeon Finder queue system?
This is another option for making dungeons more pleasant for the majority of players. Many players are put off by dungeons, as they are, with elitists ruining the experience for regular players. So would you support the following changes to the dungeon finder queue system?
Dungeon finder modes:
1) Casual/New:This mode is for casual and new players. It is for a slower pace run including questing, opening chests, wiping, and sometimes looting containers. The vote kick system is limited to 2 kicks per dungeon for the group excluding offline kicks or kicks of people not in the instance of which their are unlimited kicks. You may not kick in the first 10 minutes of the dungeon and after each kick their is 15 minute cooldown timer until you can kick again(excluding offline and out of instant kicks which have no cooldown). Gear/ level requirements: current requirements as of summerset patch. This mode is designed for low dps players and those who do not mind playing with them.
2) Experienced: This mode requires you to have completed all bosses in the dungeon 15 times before that dungeon is unlocked in this mode. Quests are disabled in this mode. Level requirements: normal base(L45), Normal DLCs(CP 100), Vet Base(CP 250), Vet DLC(CP400). You may not vote kick in the first 10 minutes of a dungeon. The group is limited to 5 kicks per run with a 10 minute cooldown timer per kick. You may kick offline and non instanced players at any time without penalty. This mode is a normal paced run. You should expect steady progress through the dungeon. This mode is designed for average dps players and those who dont mind playing with them.
3)Elite/Blitz:This mode is for very experienced players that do above average DPS and are looking for fast runs.Level requirements:Normal base( CP160), Normal DLC(CP250), Vet Base(CP400), Vet DLC(CP600). In order to unlock a dungeon in this mode you must have killed every boss in the dungeon 30 times in a previous mode. Their is a 5 minute no kick timer at the beginning of the dungeon, after this you may kick as much as you want.
4)Potluck:This mode is only for most experienced players. Potluck removes role restrictions. The first 4 people who qualify for the dungeon are put in it, no roles considerations. You may end up with 4 sword and board, 4 trial healers, or 4 stamblades. You must have ran beat every boss in the dungeon 50 times on a previous mode to unlock that dungeon in this mode. Level requirements: Normal base(CP200), Normal DLC(CP300), Vet base(CP500),Vet DLC(CP700). There is a 5 minute no kick timer at the beginning of the dungeon. Otherwise, you may kick at your pleasure.
5)Vote kick changes: Modes 1 and 2 require 3 people to vote kick. Modes 3 and 4 require 2 people to vote kick. The kicked penalty is reduced to 5 minutes in all dungeon modes. If you are kicked from a group the dungeon finder will prevent you from joining a group with a dungeon in progress for 30 minutes to prevent placing you back in that group.
Note: You must meet the dungeon completion requirement on that character and everyone ( even vets) have to work up through the system to unlock more modes. To counter arguments on this before they start...
*the reason its not account wide is just because you can run your NB through every dungeon doesnt mean that you can do the same on your warden. You must prove that you are capable with every character/build, not just one.
*the reason vets have to work up through the system is because everyone must prove themselves in the new system. If people get "grandfathered in" then it removes a lot of the point of the system, which is you expect someone who is running in elite mode to be able to pull good dps, knows mechanics, etc. The casual mode is basically what we have now but with a war between casual players and elites/blitzers/etc.
* You may queue for multiple modes at once. The DF will try to put you in a dungeon of the highest mode you selected first and then on down the list to casual. You are expected to respect the mode you are queued in( so no being an ass in casual mode just because you wanted a faster queue)
*The mode you are running your current dungeon in will be displayed above the group in the top left( so you know what mode you got put in if you queued for multiple)
I believe everyone should get to play the game the way they want too and not have to conform to someone elses standard to play content they paid for. If they want to blitz it and skip most of the game, their choice. If they want to fail on a dungeon 20 times until they get it, their choice. If they want to listen/read every word in the game, their choice. I think this system will help seperate people better into HOW they want to run dungeons.
Would you agree to a dungeon finder system like this?

MAGPLAR PVP build advice.
Hello,
I am trying to work on a PVP build for my Magplar, I have had a look online and there seems to be a number of people running a dual wield front bar and a S&B back bar, I like the idea of this as it will allow me to run a monster set and 2 other full sets at the same time, but i'm worried about sustain issues without having a staff. Does anyone play like this, and if so do you have sustain issues?
This is the build I'm thinking:
Front Bar:
2x Shacklebreaker sword, MH Nirnhoned, OH Sharpened?
Back Bar:
Shacklebreaker sword, Nirnhoned.
Shacklebreaker shield, Reinforced.
2x Valkyn Skoria, Heavy, Impen
1x Shacklebreaker, Heavy, Impen
2x Shacklebreaker, Light, Impen
2x Rattlecage, Heavy, Impen
3x Rattlecage Jewelry, Arcane
I will probably run the Atronach to help with sustain and Witchmothers Potent Brew food.
Does this seem at all sensible for a decent PVP build?
I'm fairly new to the game and have only just started properly looking into my builds.
Cheers.
