I want to Daily Quests,Rewards etc.. timer.

I do daily bg, dungeons, craftings etc. with 10 characters for everyday. Most of the time, I have to wait. if we had a timer, we could see how much time was left. Is not that something that should already exist? There is already a counter that counts in the game on backplane. Is it very difficult to show when choosing a quest on the character's screen?

I wish there was a more appropriate section for smalls suggestions but here it goes.

I get that almost every mails purpose is to be sent back to Oblivion, but sometimes.. people talk nicely! And there's only negative options for those mails. There's no "reply" option for example. This contact here is already in my friend list so I don't know, but is there at least an option for "add to friends list" next to "report player" ?

Also, a small section to see our "sent" mail could be great.

The title says it all.

Almost all people playing this game have experienced crashes, lag and freezes due to draw calls load and attempts by ZOS to deal with the single threaded nature of the game. The only real solution to this issue is to use an API that is natively multiprocessor and since this application is not exclusively Microsoft based, now that MoltenVK is available to allow Vulkan to run on MACOS and iOS, the only solution to this issue is the Vulkan API.

So ZOS considering the MMO is very healthy and pulling in fat cash; when are you rewriting your graphics libraries to use this API?

Stop with the kludge fixes that break machines and invest in the real solution.

8 Ways to Counter "Uncounterable" mSorc Burst - ZOS please read

I hate to come out of the woodworks and post this as I main a magsorc (and magblade), but this needs airing out to avoid some out-of-nowhere nerf to one of sorcs abilities (probably would end up being something other than Rune Cage). I think there are also a lot of out-of-proportion complaints about sorc burst because dying from a sorc (mines, curse animation, cage falling from heaven, exploding into 0 HP) is a very visually impressive way to die, and dying from several other OP specs right now (bleed, stam, oblivion) just looks like getting hit with swords until your recap screen loads.

This is what others abbreviate as the "L2P" that others reference in the whine threads. You need to adapt to the current game. For instance, many sorcs now slot HoTs for Sloads. Many good players dropped vamp due to increased light attack damage. They don't want to lose the bar space or vamp perks, but changing with the game is what sets good players apart. There are less streamers now, making this tougher to do on your own.

So in the interest of us all getting better:

1. Have enough effective HP (HP x Resistance x Crit Resistance) to mitigate the current increased levels of damage output in the game. In my experience as an msorc, this is about 24k HP with about 18k spell resist or 22-23k with 25k spell resist for an unshielded player. I'm sorry Sypher told you in 2016 that you need 20k HP for Cyrodil with "all points into stam."

2. In hand with the above, take advantage of tri-stat armor glyphs and the brand-new Triune trait that net-benefits almost every spec but magsorc. These math-advantaged glyphs benefit almost everyone more (especially DKs and Argonian race); msorc is uniquely balanced (which some call an "advantage") where our primary defense (max magicka/shields) goes from good to useless if we drop our magicka, thus we have to give up essentially 4k of free HP/stam.

3. The 3 light attacks in the magsorc burst combo amount to ~9k player damage with recent light attack buffs. This is probably more harmful than Rune Cage. They are dodgeable, blockable, and reflectable, and taking 2 out of 3 of them in the face is completely voluntary. Whether you prefer HoTs, dodge rolling, cloak, or blocking, eliminating this damage and the 2-3k initial Fury hit is easy for good players. If you avoid all of these, and have any reasonable effective HP, you will not die to sorc burst without a chance to retaliate.

4. Use immovable pots (and/or the Immovable skill) nullifying the sorc burst for 10.4 seconds. Go from being an Xv1er slotting resource-drain poisons to slotting Immovable poisons.

5. If you are running an Xv1 build (Eye of the Storm, resource poisons, not enough stam to break free more than twice, low HP with all damage sets, roll dodge as your only defense), don't expect to win alone vs. a competent player of any class with a 1v1 or 1vX build.

6. If you are a DK and you are not slotting wings, you are not adapting to the game.

7. If your build uses primarily HoTs, roll dodge, or cloak for defense, and you are dying to light attacks and direct damage more than DoTs, put CP into Direct Damage AND Light/Heavy Attack mitigation stars rather than DoT or physical defense stars. This is adapting.

8. The main way to counter sorc burst, even if you completely ignore every single point above, is to time your CC as soon as you see their Curse. A sorc's burst window (Shield-Shield-swap-Curse-Fury-Cage-Frag) takes 6 seconds if executed perfectly, and that is conveniently also the CC cooldown time.

If a sorc slots immovable pots, then you use your immovable pot, then both wait 10 seconds, and a sorc gets his full 6-skill burst combo in and times it perfectly so that not a single HoT tick occurs in between procs, and your effective HP is low enough to go to execute, and you haven't CC'd him, and haven't gotten your burst combo in first, and neither did your friend, then you didn't get cheesed. You got outplayed.

Just finished Summerset quests.

One thing I noticed is, there is a huge lot of things will happen differently if you never did Morrowind quest lines first. Or even, never finished vanilla first
I did all the dlc/chapter quests in order of their release, so I'm fine with it, I very much like it even.

But I wonder how players never did Morrowind/Clockwork experience Summerset?

Hi, so there's this skin I've been seeing a lot lately. Light blue glow, at first i thought it was the necromancer skin but after seeing 30-40 cps with it i doubted that. Now i looked up a picture of the necromancer skin and it's of similar color but different pattern, anyone know what this is?

Low Pop Bonus is broken

This new low pop bonus is total BS. Yesterday, my guild and I spent 12 hours in kyne, working our butts off with other AD players to control the map, hold keeps and earn points, all with the greater focus of wining the campaign this week. To our utter disappointment when we finally emp'd, AD was still at the bottom of the scoreboard in 3rd. AD dominated all day, held more keeps and more resources than the other two factions and yet still our hourly points were not enough to put us infront... tell me Devs, what the hell is the point of working our butts off all day to get ZERO reward for it.. our guildies had an amazing day and worked hard but at the end of it what did they get? nothing but a sense of futility and disappointment because AD were still at the bottom with no hope of getting in front because EP had the low pop bonus so even though they werent even on and representing, they were still getting points. This is utter bs. If a faction doesnt have enough players, then the guilds of that faction should go out and recruit. Why should those of us who do the work, turn up and represent have to be punished because the other faction cant get its s**t together?.... its absolute rubbish and it needs to be fixed asap. I hope you can pass this on to who ever it is that can remove the low pop bonus from the campaigns

Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl - working or bugged?

The Pickled Fish Bowl is the new purple food item, the recipe of which is found by fishing.

The tooltip on the item is deliberately vague, only says it "attracts fish". I haven't tested it myself, seeing as it requires a substantial amount of clam gall, which is simply too expensive right now to throw away on this.
However, people who have used it say that it increases your chances for a larger number of loot drops per line thrown, so you can get multiple drops instead of just 1 per bait. Also, several people are now saying that this ONLY works if you are fishing with ONE other person. Can this really be true? Is this really working as intended, or bugged? The gold recipe seems to be bugged, since it's a drink but doesn't reguster as a drink, so it's not hard to believe that the purple recipe might be bugged as well.

I have fished a lot, in fact I have finished Master Angler and all DLC zones, and I was happy about seeing this new recipe, and wanted to get back into fishing again with it. But, if this really only works while fishing with ONE other person, then it's a really horrible game design, and I can't see myself using it at all.
Fishing is usually a lonesome business, few people fish, and often you're left on your own. In fact, 95 % of all my fishing for Master Angler and DLC zones has been solo. Unless you're a part of a dedicated fishing guild, and I can't spare guild slots for that, then the odds are that you will fish alone most of the time. When people do fish in groups, like right now in Summerset where there's a fishing frenzy going on, you're often bombed by gangs of 4-5 people fishing with you. Both of these scenarios would mean the fishing food will not work, if it is true that it only works when exactly TWO people are fishing together.

I cannot for the life of me think why ZOS would implement something like this. Fishing is already extremely under-rewarding as it is, and we need encouragement to go fish. Did someone really think it was too OP if the food worked while fishing alone? Is there any particular reason to lock off the food effect if you're fishing alone? I really hope this is either a false rumor, or perhaps a bug in the food effect that will be fixed, if not, then you can really forget about me throwing away expensive ingredients for something as absurd as a food that requires you to always be fishing with exactly ONE other person.

All Radiant Apex Rewards plus Sweet Roll

A quick post for all those collectors out there about the new unique Psijic Vault Crate Rewards. It took me several hundreds of Euro to get all the mounts :# , although my only goal was to get that purple horse I saw on the home page, it was ofc a radiant apex reward i could not buy -.- and I got it as the last item unlocking every single other crown reward from the crates first. But yeah I am still glad I managed to get it since it's very rare, the apex rewards look all beautiful in my opinion. The apex horse looking best in regards of the spectral animations flying around it. From the three radiant apex rewards I would say the most impressive is the ice wolf, but my favourite is the horse because it fits the colour of my class (sorcerer).

Enough of my opinion, here are some stats/facts: First I got the apex guar, last one was the apex tiger. Regarding the radiant apex first was the wolf, last one was the horse. I got multiple apex reward duplicates. I never got a duplicate regarding the radiant apex. I also got one Sweet Roll (no duplicates). The sweetroll is worth 400 gems if you refund it and is used as a special building item, taking the same place as a mount would. It also has a toggle with a golden shine. I was really surprised when I first got it :) it is a nice easteregg

Shor PC/NA "Official" Discussion

If you run a small group, solo, run a medium group we need you in a Shor. I’m not talking about weekend spill over from Vivec, but people who legit want to play regularly on weekdays even if it’s just two or three nights. I’ve talked with some EP players who believe the campaign is healthy and balanced even though EP currently has over 8k pts and AD sits at around 3k, DC currently over 6k due to some guilds coming over from Vivec occasionally. It was extremely refreshing to see some AD on earlier. I wish I had the time to put into running a consistent group, but unfortunately we need multiple people to come together to improve the population balance especially on AD. We lost some good people/guilds in recent weeks and it would be great to see Shor come back to what is was starting to become.

fyi it was like 350 per slot on the test server

or more expensive then over 2 chapters (so do you want 2 eso chapters or 9 cosmetic slots?)

seems a little bit insane.

btw slots are per character as confirmed in this thread so its actually $100 PER CHARACTER

so 12 characters total x 13,500 crowns per character plus 1500 crowns for the 4 character slots above base 8 in the first place (6k crowns total) is a grand total of. . .

one hundred and sixty eight thousand crowns 168,000

at the most efficient crown bundle (21,000 crowns for $149.99) that's just under $1200 before tax

Hey guys, i'm wondering how can I improve my dps since i'm cp 370 and i manage to make only 12k dps on my magicka nightblade, i am currently following a build from alcast ( link here https://alcasthq.com/eso-magicka-nightblade-build-pve/ ) do you have any tips or suggestion ? anything would be appreciated =)

Perhaps Sloads doesn't need to go. In some ways it brings us together.

I am being completely honest.

If you think about it Sloads is bringing us together in several ways. First, it's forcing us to rely on healers and be in groups which is what a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing game is all about.

It's clear the developers want us to play together more and do not want 1vX PVP to be prevalent. This is good for us as a community so that we learn to intermingle more and enjoy each other's company in group play.

This will stop people from attacking resource nodes deep in enemy territory just to look for "good fights" and encourage them to join up with the main groups of their alliance for the better.

PVP has never been more unbalanced, more broken

how is this possible- for a game 4 years old, sloads sets, rune prison CC delays, double CC bugs,. immunity not working, Lethal arrow bugs, the double damage sigils in BGs, just so many many things that make this a game of random luck as opposed to skill. this game needs so many fixes its completely discouraging at this point. just venting...

How are magblades in PVE,thinking of my 2nd char ?

Hello everyone,

We’re creating this thread so there’s a central place to have discussions and provide updates on the long loading screens that many of you have been experiencing. We know this issue is extremely frustrating, and for some, is preventing you from playing all together. We’re doing everything we can to get this fixed as quickly as possible, and have made it a top priority for our engineers. Our QA team has been testing various scenarios so we can collect as much data as possible, including hopping in and out of PvE zones, dungeons, Trials, Cyrodiil, and Battlegrounds, all with varying amounts of players (we’re utilizing bots for situations requiring higher numbers). We’ve also been able to pin down a solid reproducible case for us to investigate that our own Game Director Matt Firor was encountering.

As of now, our only update is that our engineers and programmers are still working to pin point exactly what’s causing this. Until we know, we won’t be able to put in a fix. As for what you can do to help…
  • Let us know which system and megaserver you’re on if you’re currently having this issue.
    • If you’re on PS4, please specify if you’re on a regular PS4 or PS4 Pro.
    • If on Xbox, please specify if you’re using an Xbox One, Xbox One S, or Xbox One X.
    • If you’re a PC player, let us know what sort of processor you’re running.
  • Is there any specific area or zone you consistently see a long loading screen?
  • What are you doing when you experience a long loading screen?
    • I.e.: Using a wayshrine, resurrecting, looting, etc.
  • Are you utilizing any sort of SSD?
  • If you play on Xbox, is the game installed on the internal hard drive or an external hard drive?
  • If you’re on PS4, are you using the first party hard drive or a replacement?
