Server side issues are pretty bad preformance

just took and look at Website availability and cretain area have gone from normal ran 0.1 to 0.7 to 2.9 and no connection for

So far issues notice shuttering frame dispearing repear back from where walked or run doent change no matter area. Crashing and login and click play on charater.
On side note my average ping 260 is now retaining all time 360 to spikes ripidly 999 something is serously wrong server side

Shalidor won’t show up at the Rawl’kha mages guild so I can’t progress my mages guild quest line. Can anybody help me out with a Solution to fix it?

Buried Memories and The Towers Fall Summerset Quests

On a buried memories quest (part of main quest on Summerset) I am stuck where I have to defeat K'Tora but every time I can't beat the sea sload I am at a loss as how to do it and on a towers fall i am stuck where you have to defeat relicmaster josajeh the 3rd and last version of her I think and she kicks my butt every time same as K'Tora and I have no clue how to defeat either of them any help or tips is appreciated

Cloak and Shield Stacking need punishing mechanics

This is an MMO that is resource dependent rather than one that's based on cooldowns. Because of this, certain defense mechanics that would have a reasonable cooldown in a different game can be spammed endlessly in this one. Over time ZOS has either put in mechanisms that would punish spamming or have a soft counter, and in the case of blocking, and dodge rolling especially there's both!

So just for clarification I'm going to cover what mechanisms are in the game for certain defense mechanics:

Healing: Defiles reduce the amount of healing received. Without defiles certain builds could live forever.

Health Regen: Defiles reduce the efficiency of health regen just like healing.

Blocking: Spamming block will prevent your stamina from regeneration, there are also certain abilities that ignore block entirely.

Dodge rolling: Spamming dodge roll will increase its cost if dodge roll is used withing 5 seconds. There are also a VERY extensive list of abilities that completely ignore dodge rolling entirely.

Damage shields: There's oblivion damage. That's it. Oblivion damage also ignores dodge rolling and blocking; making this damage type not unique against shields unless we're talking about the nonsensical shield breaker set.

Cloak: As been pointed many, many times this ability exists in two forms: Incredibly OP or Completely useless.

Damage Shields, and Cloak really need to have some mechanic that either discourages spamming (like what has bee put in place with dodge rolling, blocking, and Streak) or reduce its efficiency (such as defile with health regen or healing).

In the case of Cloak I would suggest turning off magicka recovery while invisible.

In the case of Damage Shields I would suggest an increased cost if the same shield is used again within 5 seconds OR make it so that no 2 damage shields can stack.



As a disclaimer I know there's a lot of you that are eager to spew hate at me, but I ask that you'll be respectful with your responses.

Hi all,

I have a DK and NB alt that I want to level alliance rank to 7 so I can unlock all the skills. Problem is I dont enjoy pvping with these 2 characters so i want to get there as quickly as possible.

Is there a build that would help me with AP gains? I know spamming Rapid Regen in a zerg is helpful, is there anything else that I can do to speed it up? And skills or gear set up?

Why is it when I run 2h and medium armor I get comments like "you should use dw and spin and probably swap to heavy". This patch I feel even less competitve against magic casters.

So I swap to heavy and can definitely feel the difference but thats only because of 1 thing and the biggest key difference between heavy and medium.

And thats the healing

I want to run medium and still not feel hindered when I get into a fight and immediatley feel the need to LoS. But it seems we have been stuck with this heavy armor "meta" if thats what you want to call it then being pigeon holed into forward momentum on medium and heavy builds because shuffles is just not the better option.

In closing to that I think heavy is in a good posistion but could use a slight buff in certain points but medium needs a big rework, mainly in survivabilty. This could be done by making shuffle have a longer snare and imobile immunity and a slight cost reduction. I think people should want to pick medium by default when they pick up a stamina build and look at heavy as more of a utlitiy option. Also think the "sneak" passives are garbage and could be compiled

Now 2h vs DW

I think dw is in a good spot, shrouded daggers could be a little better but overall pretty nice balance right now.

2h on the other hand is completely garbage. Ive been playing d swing builds for a long time and i love it! But i think that its missing something.... like a performance thing like make the animation not so easy to break (ie roll through me) give us 2h users some time to react to someone who just is standing inside of me.

Also maybe make wrecking blow have no cast time so it could be weaved like surprise attack? Drop the empowerment? It would essentially help pve as well for more diversity

These are just some thoughts ive been having this week. Looking for some inputs, I hope I'm not sounding biased in this post but maybe it's my own issue. Please keep it constructive and voice opinions and opposing views. I want to know!

Warden seems left out compared to other classes synergy with the werewolf, any thought or news out on this subject? I added a quick overview, I may be missing some additional class passives, please speak up if I have. Thank you.

I’m definitely looking forward to the new DLC coming up, but I’m not looking forward to more monster shoulders being added to the Undaunted rewards chests. It seems like the RNG for getting the right set, never mind the right weight, is getting a little out of hand. I think it’s time to see some sort of change to this system simply based on how many monster sets exist now.

[Jedi Council] Trial Progression guild

Yes yes I'm in the right place I promise! :D

Jedi Council is recruiting more trial focused, experienced and inexperienced players 300CP+ for all end game content! We have been here since April 1st 2014 (I know, why am I just now making this forum post right?!? :p) as a PvE/PvP everything guild and still going strong! We have trained many players in vet trials and continue to do so every day, so don't be shy, join the family! We have a relaxed and fun guild and raid environment, if you cant handle 18yr+ jokes and memes you need not apply!! While we are short on core tanks and heals, we are looking for all roles to expand our core roster and our guild roster!

Together we have complete all vet Craglorn trials as well as their HM's many times. We have complete vMoL, vHoF, and vAS +1 many times too! We currently run some impromptu open guild trials and have two set days for open guild runs. Jedi core1 team runs Monday, Wednesday, Fridays as we work on vAS +2 and other scores! All trials at this point in time are CDT based and typically run at about 8pm. We have Aussies in guild that raid with us, but we are looking for more players that want earlier/Aussie raid times to get more activity for the guild all around!

We are also looking for more raid leads for both Aussie times and NA times! If you are experienced enough to make call outs and would like to give it a shot here is your chance!

Jedi Council doesn't use any websites to apply or sign up for things, instead we use our Discord for all Trial signup's, parsing SS, general chat, and of course some dank memes (18yr+)! I'm new to the pvp, and i'm a totally noob. Everytime i arrive in a fight they kill me rly easy.

Do you guys have some tips and tricks for beginners in cyrodill/pvp.

I play as Magicka sorcerer, with julianos set only. Even stacking some shield they vanish so fast, that i dunno what to do.

People with reliably low ping what DNS servers do you use?

What if ESO open up a new continent to the map and would unlocking zone continent be more of an expansion then one big zone? Elder Scrolls Universe has the lore to back up on the continent but the lore is a jigsaw puzzle to some zone continent to unlock. If there are unlockable continent zones will it break the game or will it cause technical issues that the game already is going through now?

I know a lot of you would like this and a lot of you would hate this. It's a new chapter to PVP the game just can't live on PVE alone. PVP might be the greatest mistake to some gamers but it is the greatest piece of art created for fantasy action combat that's My say and My say alone if continent Zones happen.

Okay in all in all how would you guys react if continent zones are unlocked and open on the Map?

I guess for starters, been getting a lot of input lag recently. Idk if it's just server lag but I press a button and there's a nice delay before the action occurs. I.E. Press triggers to break free but getting nearly murdered before break free even happens. Press button to cloak. Nothing happens. Not a stealth negate. Nobody even around me at times. To generalize, instant cast spells, light attacks, block, etc., are just not popping off at all. I have to spam shadow image even to get it to activate. I have the resources, at least on my screen.
Prior to summerset this one was not an issue but appears to be a bug that resurfaced and was addressed on a post from like 2015. Heavy attacks are just simply not doing anything. Holding my trigger while looking at an enemy and literally nothing is happening. Not even a rev up animation.
Lastly, there are at least 2 hitboxes that are not properly represented by the hitbox indicators. Zaan fight when the poison comes out you can be what I guess is about 5ft outside the box and still get hit. The other one is in vDSA. I can't recall which round but it was circular and I was clearly rolling well outside of the box and still got hit.
