Distaste for Pack-Only Furnishings

After only getting the Moon Bishop's Sanctuary pack once, I expected the only furnishings that would be exclusive to that pack would be the Dro-m'Athra target, the statue, and the tapestries. However, it would seem that the following furnishings were also only available in that pack...

Elsweyr Sugar Pipe, Ceremonial

Elsweyr Ceremonial Lantern, Jone

Elsweyr Ceremonial Lantern, Jode

Considering how much furnishing packs cost (particularly the limited-time ones), I'm disappointed by how many furnishings seem to be available only by purchasing an entire pack. Those lanterns and that pipe would look good in more than just a single home, and only having two of each doesn't seem like enough. Especially the lanterns, with how many lighting issues most homes have. I feel like they should be available separately in the crown store, or as furnishing plans in-game. I hope I'm wrong and that they are available, though. Or become available at a later point outside the furnishing pack. But so far, it doesn't seem that they are.

If you read this, what other furnishings do you think shouldn't have been available only in a limited-time furnishing pack?

EDIT: Images have been fixed.

Against my better judgment, I will give this one last go. I believe that, for the most part, the discussions have been fun and enjoyable. I feel that I've gotten to know some people on other factions a bit, and it is cool being killed by someone you recognize! :) Anyway, let's stick to talks of builds, funny stories (like the time I got jumped by 8 AD as I rode across the bridge and they bashed me to death as I fell out of my chair laughing), map strategy, which in game snacks you prefer, and of course... Ice trebs.

One last shot at a fix for Xbox One

I am at my "rope's end" here with this game! I have had bad lag and load screen issues, to name a few, for awhile now but have simply suffered through with the hope that it would improve because I love this franchise so much (And, quite frankly, because I have spent way too much money on this game. I'm talking thousands of dollars here).

Since Elsweyr, it has been practically unplayable for me. Long load screens, horrible lag, and sound issues have made this game a chore just logging in to complete horse research and collect daily awards. I have tried every suggestion that the support team loves to throw at us to include: clearing my Mac address, hard resetting, port forwarding, static reset, deleting saved data, and a complete re-install....This all after I changed ISP's, updated my network to a 1000D/30UP, bought a new Ethernet cable (cat6), new router, had my ISP run a completely new line. I have tried every suggestion I can find on the Xbox forums and my Xbox One X is less than a year old. Elder Scrolls Online is the ONLY game I have trouble with. For crying out loud, Fallout 76 runs better than ESO right now for me.

I would hate to give up on this game because, as sad as it may sound, it means too much to me. I just don't know what else to do, and it sounds like I'm not the only console player that is having these issues. If ANYONE has any HELPFUL suggestions, I welcome them with tremendous gratitude. Anyways, thank you and adventure on ESO fam!

[Hireling Mail timer] Could ZOS please re-examine this, especially with login issues

Especially with login issues -- and I have more of these than most, with frequent disconnects (sometimes 20 DAILY) -- could the Hireling delivery timer be changed? It would help managing alts much easier.
At 24 hours, the time just gets inched forward constantly from:
- disconnects
- pausing to grab the mail so your inbox isn't full
- pausing for IRL situations
- pausing to answer chat
- wanting to do your daily writs at the same time

* The easiest thing to do would be to set the timer from 24 hours to 20 hours. This way, players have leeway every day to move it back up to their preferred scheduled time to handle Hireling mail (and writs) in case of delay.

* A better thing to do would be to not require logins at all but (a) dump the delivery automatically into the Crafting Bag (whether someone has ESO+ or not) and (b) unlock the mail for (re)reading in the text collections.

Anyone else fead up with the Undaunted grind...?

ZOS needs to do the same thing to Undaunted what they did with Skyshards because seriously this grind is beginning to become a pain to do with randoms from group finder.. >:-(]

I've done BC2 on my tank today AND I WAS HOLDING THE 3 DAEDROTHS only to have the entire group wipe and disband at the last boss!! I swapped rolls and respec to dps to do CO2 only to get kicked at the last boss AND I WAS DOING 66% of the total group's DPS!!…. *sigh* If you don't want to do hardmode at least a little communication will be nice! Seriously WTB Undaunted leveling from the crown store or better yet.. LF a competent group to do pledges with and dungeons achievements to level Undaunted, please hit me up!

Faction Lock Choice BROKEN!!!

$

Just logged in today, it's broken...I was forced back into a loser faction that won't win next campaign or the campaign after that... or the campaign after that... I need to switch to a faction that zergs night and day...Has the strongest of races overall...and can use their zergballs to exploit the game and dump off another faction, make stun abilities happen back to back, and when their RED wave that extends up into the sky appears in the game to let us know we are going to get DCed pretty soon...

There was a reason why faction lock was removed in the past...yes some concepts should stay true to the original devs ideas.. but this is NOT one of them...

You can kick me out of cyrodiil for everything under the sun...but not when I log in for the first time after a patch. WOOWOWWOWOWOW

I am also getting sick and tired of being in a keep and then just before the tick is about to be handed I get DCed and MISS it...

We already know it's an exploit...ok? we know these EP zergballs are using the fact that YOU DON'T CHECK/LOCK a status from being accessed. Which allows them to stay alive, kick people off the server, stop input because the server thinks we are dead, causing double stuns within the cooldown phase... We know you didn't put that check in for speed sake... However at this point...I gotta say it... we need combat overhaul...

I know you guys have been slowly doing it....changing skills etc to make them simpler... less bogged down... easy to calculate...

will eso be featured on stadia? Just wondering...Didn't Bethesda also announce something that will lower latency or something at E3...

Furnishing Recipe Praxis bug for Elsweyr item on PS4

I previously picked up the Elsweyr furnishing recipe for the Elsweyr Sarcophagus Lid, Ancient and when I later got the recipe Elsweyr Sarcophagus, Ancient recipe, the game says I already know that recipe. When I go to the enchanting crafting station, the sarcophagus itself is not listed. I am sure I have not picked up and used this recipe before. The game seems to not be able to distinguish between the two recipes because the names are similar. Had I not been taking screen snapshots of everything I learn due to a previous problem, I would have sold this recipe by mistake.

Here are the screen snapshots of the recipe that I have not learned but the game says I have, and what I can craft at the enchanting crafting station. The sarcophagus is not listed among the craftable items, but the lid is.

Please note that I did use the recipe for the lid so that information is correct.

Mummified Alfiq Progress on PS4 bugged

I picked up one piece of the Mummified Alfiq collectible inside Rimmen Necropolis in Elsweyr and the progress listed is 0/10. The same is indicated in the journal achievements.

There is a screen snapshot attached.

I submitted an in-game bug report, but when I clicked the button to add a snapshot there was no apparent option to do so.

Twilight Matriarch is overperforming

$

Currently, the Twilight Matriarch has too much utility to justify choosing the Tormentor morph:
1) The difference in DPS between the Matriarch and Tormentor morphs is marginal (especially considering the Tormentor is only useful for targets above 50% health).
2) The burst heal from the Matriarch is one of the best in the game as it affects 2 targets, with a 360 degree hitbox, and can crit as high as 20k+ on non-healer builds.

The Matriarch was intended to be the 'healing' morph whereas the Tormentor was designed to be the 'damage' morph, but currently the Matriarch functions as the 'high-damage-while-also-providing-high-survivability' morph. There is hardly a justification for using the Tormentor morph when the benefits to the Matriarch outweigh the ever so slight increase in DPS that the Tormentor provides.

A skill which functioned similarly, but received a rework, is the Path of Darkness skill and its morphs from the Nightblade toolkit. Previously, one of the things that made Magblades outperform was the fact that one of their skills provided both high damage as well as healing (not only for themselves, but for their group). The skill has now been reworked so that Magblades have to choose between a morph that will either 1) Provide damage or 2) Provide healing. Not both.

I suggest that the Matriarch receives a rework so that it does not deal any damage at all, but that it functions similarly to the Cauterize skill from the Dragonknight toolkit. While summoned, the Matriarch would heal a single ally rather than attacking an enemy and the active burst heal would remain unchanged. This would strengthen the Matriarch's position as the 'healing' morph and provide better balance between the two morphs.

I say this while my main DPS character is a Petsorc. I have a horse in this race, and even I realize that my horse is outperforming. I shouldn't be able to reach 50k+ dps while also having access to one of the best burst heals in the game. Reworking the Matriarch so that it provides more healing at the expense of dealing damage would put it in line with other similar skills from other classes (Path of Darkness, Inferno, etc.) while not nerfing it to the point that nobody would use it. The Matriarch would still be attractive, if not even more attractive, to Sorcerer healers and it would give Petsorc DPS more incentive to actually use the Tormentor morph.

ESO for Older Than Average Players

As I recently retired and myself being an older than most gamers... I started wondering... if ESO (or on-line gaming in general) has considered the benefit (and market share) of developing a niche in their games for the OTAG (Older Than Average Gamer) community... these are Players not so interested in gaming for Glory or Esteem... but a slower based, repetitive experience to satisfy a casual player, yet immersive enough to keep them engaged and interactive... The one example I can think of off the top of my head.. Fishing... my own father, now dead for 8 years was an avid Fisherman... if the developers could make a fishing pool "furnishing item"... capable of being placed in a Home with some rewards for harvesting (in a limited fashion, of course)... where those wishing peace and quiet, could game away, fishing and collecting some resources... well, it would be cool... I ask this as a question to those who have a father, perhaps with declining health (perhaps with some developing dementia), unable to go out in their fishing boat anymore... who could log on and fish the day away... Just a thought... interested in peeps thoughts and perhaps tweek a developers creativity... :)

Quit Closing Threads About Faction Lovk

Seriously faction locks were implemented because forum warriors made countless threads and post. Now that they’re not well received and people are discussing their displeasure and expressing it there is no reason to shut the threads down just because they’re painting a black eye on a horrendous decision by the dev team.

They totally overdid it with Lord Warden's drop rate.

I've done close to 30 runs and i have yet to even see it drop. Not just for me, but for anyone in the group. I've heard people mention they have done over 100 runs and nothing.

There was absolutely no reason for them to lower the drop rate so much.

During my first year of playing, when i had no sense of importance behind gear sets and armor bonuses, i used to leave some of my gear slots empty, either on purpose, or i just didnt care to equip anything.

For a time though..i got really into legs. :#

The Elsweyr "Dro-m'Athra Destroyer"

The ever coveted title "Dro-m'Athra Destroyer" is earned from completing the Thieves Guild achievement, "Maw of Lorkhaj: Moons' Champion". It is definitely one of the harder multi-cheevo achievements in the game, cannot really be bought or carried, and does speak to ones skill level. Yet one of the new Elsweyr achievements for simply killing a Dro-m'athra world boss is called, "Dro-m'athra Destroyer". The latter isn't something you can show off but...

MAIN QUEST STUCK - No banekin for Tharn Speaks in main quest after completing Elsweyr preview

I know people were having problems with Tharn not showing up for the preview if they had the Tharn Speaks Quest open. My problem is the other way around. I have completed the Elsweyr preview (which was awesome, by the way) but now, I have finished the "Castle of the Worm" but I don't get the banekin coming up to tell me to go see Tharn at the mage's guild to start "The Tharn Speaks". I have been to every starter city, every mages guild, been in and out of Davon's Watch more times than I care to think about. and a few other cities, with no luck, and even removed my add-ons to see if they were causing problems. I wasted 3/4 of a grand experience scroll running around looking for the banekin. Not happy about that.
I am an Imperial nightblade, level 38, Ebonheart Pact.
Note: removed both add-ons folder and live folder as a test. no change.
The Castle of the Worms achievement is in my list.
Any thoughts/assistance?
Thanks
Bob

Pirate Skeleton Set

it may have already been done, but can we talk about this set a bit?

i'm crossing ppl with it everywhere those days (no cp campaigns and bgs), and in fact, it snowballs a lot with already tanky setups by adding a 12 out of 15 sec of major protection for free.

Pretty useless on non-tanky setups (since you get get killed too fast for it to proc) it is very likely to be a must have in every tanky build because of its way of occuring.

the nerf to oblivion dmg enchants helped it to find such a good spot too i guess.

Seriously, this game is too easy and the overworld needs to be buffed heavily.

So with the new expansion, I decide to try something new. You know I'll just grind necro on a more min-maxed toon like redguard later, I just want to enjoy the story and experience casually like I would any Elder Scrolls game. (yes I'm weird like that). Sadly, this game is just too easy and I'm honestly tired of hearing people say the open world PVE isn't too easy. I have used 0 of my champion points, I also used no weapons or armor. Guess what? I can run through everything just like I would with CP and gear on. There's virtually no chance of me dying against trash mobs, even the "bosses" of quests are not a challenge. When we talk about the game being too easy, this is the number one issue. Since T1 scaled everything in this game, everything has just became far too easy. To the point I can't even take off all my CP, all my clothes, and go around bare knuckle boxing people, and I still feel like some overpowered god which ruins my immersion.

I know ZOS is trying to make their game as easy as possible for people ot zoom right through as if they're speedrunning. But you know some of us, actually want a little bit of a challenge, we want to die to trash mobs if we aggro too many, ESPECIALLY in the overworld. Some of us want the bosses of quests or delves to be actually challenging, maybe similar to soloing a solo-able world boss. Aside from everything else, I'm not saying we need harder vet dungeons (we do, they're incredibly easy besides a few DLC ones), but I am saying we need a harder overworld.

Romantic Interest NPCs

Concerning the RPG part of MMORPG, what if the Writers provided a selection of Romanceable NPCs with new lines of Dialogue and even questlines that progress the relationship. A new game mechanic that allows the vestige to bond with an NPC, complete a personal story questline, and unlock special options such as making them a version of the Brotherhood Bequeather, or a special "Assistant" you can place in your house.

We already have lines of dialogue where the Vestige flirts, heavily, with Naryu. Thats a start.
