The trader re-selling and trade guild price gouging is disgusting. anything and everything worth buying is constantly being bought up by players with billions of gold and being re-sold at unreasonable prices. The amount of gold being farmed out of the game is obscene and being filtered into the pocket of a handful of the community creating an economically dystopian capitalist garbage dump.

Howabout account binding items sold through traders huh?

Even to obtain a trader you have to compete with this garbage, which is just encouraging the practice...

And before you come back with some snub retort to the point.... empirical evidence: the cheapest purple inferno staff of a mother's sorrow on the market is 55k yet there are well over 260 of this item available on the market right now. Suggesting there is not the demand for the supply. If it was rare enough to be so valuable then okay. but they are clearly its not that rare if there are 260 of it not being sold...


Now the problem is... EVERYTHING is being bought and re-sold..... EVERYTHING that will sell AT ALL. and being marked up 500-3000% regardless of the demand....

Trade system is broken... the add-ons allowed to interfere make it worse... The economy in this game is one of the worst ive seen EVER in 30 years of gaming... Its an abomination.

The only saving grace of this game... is that i dont mind farming stuff myself, and thank the lord for that, because the economy is a complete embarrassment.

[Warning] RIP Bleeds? Why? DId we asked to remove bleeds at all? Not to adjust to not be OP?

I'm wondered to have no here any discussion to defend the bleeds...They are too strong on LIve, for a very long time.
They strongly deserve to be nerfed...
But.
Now they going to "respect Physical resists"...

Lets talk about Tank Meta here, which was few years ago...do u remember that cases, guys?
Permablockers, extremly big % of all players running in heavy, with less than require damage but slowly died.
Or sometimes with a very high damage to do it when attacker spend tonn of resourses to do a damage because it was very highly mitigated.
Zergs with almost every player tank inside. Or Manatemplars with 60k health and spammed on being exloded Blazing shield...

If there are no Bleeds - new tank Meta coming...
33k+ resists (with health recovery, Major and Minor Protection, Major Evasion added with brainless someone to Momentum...hallo Hell).
And we should remember about no Major Defile on new Reverberation bash here...It's a very huge change.

I can except Bleeds to be scaled with target's resists proportionally to it's resist's Mitigation.
Like when person with 10k phys resists will get small % of damage coming increase from Bleeds, because of ignored resists only for same small mitigation it have in this case.
But tank with 33k resists - to have same Ignored resists as now...Bleeds have right to exist in game. They have a Function.

Because it's counter. It's a strong requirement to have general balance. I can predict that u will not get enouch feedback during PTS on this.

I'm tired.

Fighting in Cyrodiil is nothing but exhausting. Several years of the same back and forth, same farming, same defending BRK and Arrius from Team Green. Scrolls get taken and no one cares. Gate Keeps get taken and no one cares. This "War" shouldn't have been attached to the main storyline to begin with if it was just going to be left as a never ending slugfest of bomb groups, faction swappers and AP farmers. There's no point in trying to immerse yourself and play like you're a soldier in a War with a Mission and an end goal. There is no Mission, no goal, no sense of purpose to the fighting. I dont even care about the rank Achievements ive yet to earn anymore, nor "Emperor", cause in order to achieve that, you need a popular backing in your Alliance AND some shady gameplay to stay at the top. Its a pipe dream for a player like myself.

I just want to see Cyrodiil know peace for once. To see the City rebuilt and lived in. I want my efforts in the White Gold Tower to have actually meant something permanent, my actions on relighting the Brazier beneath the city to have meant something.

...maybe it really is getting near time for an ESO 2.

Twilight Matriarch balanced in a vacuum, now weaker than Summon Shade (PvE)

No armor sets/CP applied/buffs across either character, only 64 Attributes point spent in Magicka but Summon Shade (unmorphed!!) has ~200 higher tooltip damage than Twilight Matriarch (morph).

  • Heals itself and 2 other targets for X health on special ability use

Yes, with 100% Daedric Prey uptime it'll do more DPS itself but at the cost of taking another valuable skill slot: something other classes fill with any better DPS skill than Daedric Prey. That's 3 skill slots to make Matriarch outDPS Summon Shade.


I know I know, all aboard the Pet-Sorc hate train, but you've got to admit it's ridiculous fire and forget Summon Shade does more base damage than a double-slotted Twilight Matriarch now. Especially in the context of the previous patch nerfing Daedric Prey to supposedly curb Matriarch damage!


Edit: Removed PvP-related pros and cons

While I understand people hated "portable cover", as a Pet User in PvP I never danced around in my pets to try and avoid single-target skills from other players. I'm sure people did do it because abuse what you can, but given the pets are killable I don't see how it's any more abusing than the people diving around rocks and trees training 12 players behind them.

Also keep in mind a PvP PetSorc with Familiar, Prey, Matriarch and likely Hardened Ward is 6/10 skills in the hole to achieve that and play a war of attrition to kill anyone

PC had an update where Goliath pummeling bash was adjusted two weeks ago.
Console recently had an update this Monday yet no mention of this fix.
Not to mention Xbox had a 15 Gb update with almost nothing.
So I ask, why in the hell must we deal with this brokenly absurd ultímate longer? How much longer will we have to wait? Because it’s ridiculous how You don’t even put the change in Monday’s patch notes yet PC has had it for two weeks.
I understand it takes about two weeks for these updates to be processed through console... but it’s been two weeks and we haven’t got crap.

Why do you think about giving ash cloud (not sure about the name) same size of grand healing and giving a synergie that give ally a damage shield ?

And why not give the shield that give major mending extended a magicka scale ? Maybe that change with the first one is to op but it could be scale to allow dk to Grant à 4k or 5k damage shield

I think this could allow more healer diversity and give the opportunity to have a dk healer viable in raid in order to make them competitive with templar ? I love this idea, what about you guys ?

Stop balancing PVE for PVP

ZOS should stop trying to balance the game to work for both PVE and PVP and instead should separate the two entities.

Let people have super fun, powerful PVE abilities.
Make stats and abilities function differently in PVP.

Why is there no counter to Major Mending?

Or minor mending for that matter. I mean the "increase healing done" passive. For example,

Protection has Vulnerability
Maim has Berserk
Vitality has Defile

But nothing for Mending? Tanky players can stack stars into both Blessed and Quick Recovery, and DK can get both mending and vitality from fragmented shield + lingering health pots, but the only reply to this is defile?

Is it meant to be Heal Absorption? Because that is not a viable or functional "debuff" atm, limited to a gimmicky set or expensive potions. There should be a counter to Vitality, something like Major/Minor Suppression that reduces target's healing done by 10-25%. Better yet, put it on Incap / Soul Harvest so NBs actually have a role in group fights, targeting and crippling the squishy back line healers. Right now healing is double stacked without adequate counters.

Do you like Cast times?

This seriously needs to stop. With the Patch today, that was supposed to address Goliath Ultimate, ZOS decides to nerf the SnB passive from 100% increased bash damage to 500 WD for Bash damage. This has been tested and an effective overall DPS nerf of about 10% on la/heroic-ransack/bash builds on PC. On console....lol. We give up stam regen to bash(we have to block to do it), and bash weaving with a controller takes much more skill. Bash weaving for SnB builds is now dead, when already less then 5% of the playerbase even ran SnB on console.

Seriously, this HAS TO STOP, rather then nerfing just swift when it was the problem, speed pots get gutted.

Rather then just nerfing Dual Wield enchants when it was the problem, SnB enchants got gutted.

Rather then just nerfing THE GOLIATH ITSELF, SnB bash weaving got gutted.

Cast times on ultimates should not go live

Death Stroke & morphs: Added a 400ms cast time to these abilities to sync up with their animations.
Dawnbreaker & morphs: Added a 400ms cast time to these abilities.
Berserker Strike & morphs: Added a 400ms cast time to these abilities.
Soul Shred & morphs: Added a 500ms cast time to these abilities.
Lacerate & morphs: Added a 500ms cast time to these abilities, rather than the 500ms delay they had before.


These changes should not be allowed to go live. ESO combat is fast paced, and creating burst combos in 2019 takes more precision timing and player skill than it EVER has. Adding a cast time to some of the only instant-damage ults, after YEARS of players adapting their playstyles and honing their animation cancelling skills to better use these ults, is a terrible idea.

On live currently, the unmorphed version of dawn breaker has a short cast time. It feels terrible. The animation feels clunky and delayed, the cone targeting does not feel accurate at all as the damage itself doesn't register in line with the ability use, and it is all around a worthless skill. This change is on par with the ward cast-time change we ALMOST had several patches ago. Dawnbreaker is already an ability that seems to suffer from severe targeting issues with an instant usage on console, and I foresee this cast time making it near impossible to consistently land in actual PVP encounters. Additionally, with soul harvest/incap and berserker strike being SINGLE TARGET+DODGEABLE, having a cast time on them is going to make avoiding them a joke. Soul tether is another ability with a strange hitbox, that will likely suffer severely from this change. Nobody uses lacerate, but now nobody will either.

There isn't even a developer note explaining why this change was made or what the justification was, other than "This change is to help high impact abilities sync up better with their animations". The animation is the LAST THING that pvp players care about, hence the only practice that separates lower skilled players from higher skilled ones. ANIMATION CANCELLING. The counterplay to instant damage burst ultimates is to AVOID letting yourself get into burst range, which has already been made as easy as it ever has been with the ridiculous amount of CP, mitigation, and health available in this game. This is a silly, hand-holding, noob-catering change that has no place at all in the fast paced environment that is ESO pvp.
