The house appears to still be there (can't walk through it) but the only thing visible is the torch sconce and the doorway.

some scummy gank blade as usually picking off people on roads instead of being useful, no biggy, throw on detection potion, root and stun him to hell and back while draining stamina.
pop potion.
get point blank gankbladed with all the critical bonuses despite having the giant eye of "i see you" while simutaniously not being able to see them at all, the guy was able to run upt to my face while it was active, burst me down with his "pro" macrobashspam combo of i win without even being revealed until the very end of my health bar.

so much for "GIT GUD" huh? one of the few counters for countering stealth spammers (which btw so much for all the crying they are dead, they are still everywhere like parasites) one of the strongest defensive abilities in the game doesn't even work.

this happened 3 times before i gave up and let him *** people at will.

Green Dragon Blood question

i try to increase Green Dragon Blood using my cp and using The Ritual Mundus Stone , i have a total of 15% Increases healing , but my Green Dragon Blood go from 33% to 37% ( mean

4 % Increases ( so i received 3.3% of my 15% Increases healing ??? mean around 4.45 ?

idk how the skill scale now ??? just comeback from 1 year off maybe i`m missing something ?

Dear Zeni team, the title actually says so.

This is not about the newly added content but about the changes you've made to the armor, attacks ect.
You build up a char for a long time laboriously and costly, experimenting with armor and skills until you finally have your char so that he is optimal. Spends a lot of gold to get the armor (just for jewelry) on Legendary.
And then one day Zeni comes along and throws half of everything over the pile. Skills no longer have the effects as before, some armor in the current combination no longer effective or sometimes no longer useful, such as. some monster helmet sets you have worked hard for.
So you have to start all over again.
What is that supposed to do?
You could have fed half of the stuff over the pile of higher CP armor, for example, cp 200, that would have made sense.
But this is just a joke, who now takes over the costs for the conversion of the chars? You certainly not, right?

Instead of taking care of really important things like more guild content, that's what happens.

You have 99% of our guild member just scrambled the game and it is seriously thought about canceling the subscriptions and to change the game because no one is up for it.

Deterring faction stacking during off peak hours

Faction stacking during off peak hours has been an issue which has impacted the scoring system in a negative fashion for years. Whether factions have been locked or not, it has endured through it all. I would like to analyze this behavior in depth as to what are its root causes and appeal, and what measures can be taken to deter it. I am definitely looking for any feedback or insight that others may have as well regarding this issue. Anything of merit I will try to incorporate into this OP. The overall goal is to get people during non peak hours to spread out among the factions and fight with each other over objectives and in the open field, as opposed to stacking one faction and rolling the map one color, taking emp, and taking all scrolls virtually unopposed.

So what are the elements, incentives, and motivations that drive people to resort to this style of game play?
1. It is the fastest way to gain AP.
2. Trying to gain Emperor.
3. Desire to paint the map one color.
4. Want to have maximum impact on the score.
5. Want to PvP with the lowest risk of dying.

Disincentives for faction stacking:

1. Give 50% reduction to AP gains when fighting, or taking an objective from a faction with less population than yours.
2. Give 50% bonus to AP gains when fighting, or taking an objective from a faction with more population than yours.

Incentives for balancing faction population:
Have the game do a population check every 5 minutes to determine if the factions are of equal bars across the board or not.

1. Only allow gaining Emperor status when factions have been equal for the prior 30 minutes or more.
2. Only allow taking of scrolls from temples when factions have been equal for prior 30 minutes or more.
3. Bring back Arena weapons, or make similar faction specific pvp weapons, and give them to the top 2% AP of each faction as well as randomly giving them to 3% of the remaining 98% for end of campaign rewards, BUT only to be made available when the campaign has been in balance at least 75% of the time.
4. Include into end of campaign rewards a random chance of 2% to all participants of monster helms WHEN the campaign has been in balance at least 75% of the time.

By giving a random chance for all people to receive some of the better end of campaign loot and making it conditional upon a generally balanced populations everyone has a vested interest in population balance. The 75% mark may be too low or too high, or stipulations that the population must be balanced at least once every 20 minutes for the rewards to kick in may be needed. I mean if there is a 2 hour time slot where it is totally unbalanced and and the map is bled one color that doesn't really fix the issue as that is less than 10% of the time. So numbers and methodology may need tweaking. But making everyone have a vested interest in population balance is really the only way to begin to achieve population balance. If people don't care, it won't happen.

I will let the discussion begin here. I am hoping people will think of things that I haven't which motivate everyone piling on one faction as well as incentives or disincentives to not do so.

Orion’s Shield is a new progression/score guild currently focusing on vSS HM. We have already achieved
Gryphon Hearth and many of us already have Tick Tock Tormentor and Immortal Redeemer achievements as well.

We are currently looking for a Stamina Damage Dealer, preferably Stamnecro, and a healer for our core group, but we are also recruiting backups in all capacities.

As vSS is a relatively new trial we don’t expect you to be very experienced with it, but having trial
experience is a must. We are not a teaching guild. We are expecting applications from end-game players
who have already cleared all HM content in the game and are confident with their role.

Our raid times at the moment are Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 20:00(CEST).

People without Elsweyr are creating and playing with Necromancers

Didn't see any news about Necromancers becoming free and I think is weird.
People on guild chat are reporting being able to create and play with Necromancers but can't go to Elsweyr.

And I had a guild member trying in a second account without Elsweyr and succeeded. Is it a bug or a feature?

I used Draining Shot a lot, and I noticed that it no more stuns the target after the knock back. But if I check the patch notes, nothing of the sorts is mentioned.
Is this a mistake in the patch or in the notes, or did I miss something?

Scalebreaker Patch Changes Explained

Cas put together a rather comprehensive take on the changes to the game, that are really quite extensive.

Here's the TL;DR
While there are a ton of Skill changes with the Scalebreaker Update, I think after you look through ALL of them (and there are a lot), you will realize that the general gameplay of ESO remains mostly the same. There were numerous cost and damage tweaks, but out of all the skill changes it was a small percentage that were drastically effected.

However, probably the most notable role affected here is the healer. Healing Springs has been changed, and healers will not be able to rely on it as their go to. Mutagen will need to be cast twice as often, which will further tax healer resources, making Magicka Recovery more important than ever. And, Necrotic Orb is now a one out at a time deal, meaning they won’t be able to spam them. This should translate to more meaningful and skilled gameplay for this role, which frankly I for one am happy about. Healing is easy, and has traditionally been more about the gear you are wearing, than mastering any sort of rotation. This should change significantly with this Update.

Lastly, I do think many meta Builds will shift after this Update, and probably more so than in recent Updates. Many morphs have more meaningful options, making it tough to decide just which you’ll want to use, particularly when it comes to Weapon Skills. I look forward to seeing what people come up with, and if anything it should at least create some change in a game that tends to hold the meta for a good amount of time.

Hollowfang Thirst (Light)
Magicka Recovery! And critical, max magicka - looks really good .

Dro'Zakar's Claw (medium)
Bleeds will no longer bypass physical resistance - but this sounds good regardless because of the high Weapon Damage you can add with this set.

Renald’s Resolve (heavy)
Healing Tank? Meh.

Grundwulf (Monster Set)
Good sustain set, possibly more interesting for pvp players

Z'en's Redress (light)
Up to +10% incoming damage on mobs can be huge if it stacks with 5% of other sets.

Azureblight Reaper (medium)
Builds an AOE over stacks, but seems pointless as adds may die before you manage to build them up.

Dragon's Defilement (Heavy)
Looks like a really good Tank set with solid 5 bonus and improving group DPS via mob debuff.

Maarselok Set (Monster)
Unique set that deals damage on bash - situational at best?

How did Power overload suddenly get so super strong

Can someone tell me what happened with this ability. I know patch 5.05 increased its damage by 10% but that can't explain this. Did they change some synergy with blockade of storms or something like that? Did a change in CP boost it? Or a new set?

Suddenly all the usual troll groups are running with multiple sorcs using this. It's like when Goliath Bash was OP and all the trolls were hitting pugs with multiple bashes. In the area death notices the vast majority of deaths streaming by are now power overload. My 33k spell resist/3 k crit resist DK got hit with an 11k attack. I routinely get hit by 2-3 sorcs with overload in a big fight.

Large scale fights are now super dangerous for stam melees with limited mobility; you are meleeing and multiple sorcs sneak up and destroy you with overload from behind.

How much space do i need to UPDATE the game to a new patch??

I have atm 51gb of free space. And the game is telling me i do not have enough space. I mean i know that ZoS has been doing a very poor job with trying to improve the size the game takes. Majority of all mmos, that are even bigger, has 1/3 of the size. But maybe ZoS will deal with this at some point. Anyway, do i really need like 100gb just to update the game? Im not gonna remove bunch of games just to update a patch...

Consumable Crafting Writ Questions

Hello everyone,

I noticed that yesterday when I logged onto a toon that already had writs to complete. when I finished them, I couldn’t get the ones for that day. and then this morning around 6:30est I did the exact same thing as yesterday and when I finished those writs from yesterday. the icons for todays writs showed up.

I wanted to know what the criteria was that allows a character to be able to do the daily writs from the day before and the present day?

I do Daily Consumable Crafting Writson 12, soon to be 18 characters. So sometimes, If I know that I am going to not be able to finished them right then and there, then what I will do is collect the writs, on each toon and log out until I can complete them sometime later that day.

Since I don’t know how many items that I am going to need to craft to be able to sustain for a bout a week. I just do them all individualy which can be VERY Tiresome. I know that when multi-crafting comes out, things will get easier for me as a console player.
