Brought to you by The Angry Unicorn Traders, and The Differently Geared- @sylviermoone @Philgo68 @Elijah_Crow @ZOS_JessicaFolsom
Thank you to ZOS for providing some prizes!

WHAT IS THIS THING ANYWAYS?
  • This is a EPIC BATTLE TO THE DEATH!!!!! Get your fists ready. Server wide championship to crown the next Soulgem Parchment Clippers Champion!
  • The Event will take place 2/16/18 at 9PM EST the Hammerdeath Arena in Stormhaven
  • This is a single elimination tournament, with each round won by the person who throws the best 2 out of 3.
  • Should we have a MASSIVE amount of people interested, additional rounds will be added as necessary Saturday, Feb 17 2PM-6PM Eastern and Sunday, 2PM-6PM Eastern

COOL! How do I Enter?
  • Entry is simple. There is a 10k buy in to participate. Mail your 10K to @sylviermoone or @ShimmerVids. Entries will be logged at tinyurl.com/esospcbattle. At 8PM Eastern on February 16, the list of entrants will be randomized, and brackets will be created based on that list. Please include your timezone in the in game mail entry We will do our best to accommodate you. Only one entry per account.
  • It is our goal, for your sanity and ours, to have as much of this done PRIOR to the tournament as possible. We will be able to accept buy-ins on site between 8PM and 9PM Eastern, but those choosing this option will be placed at the end of the preliminary bracket.
  • Brackets will be published and visible to the public at tinyurl.com/esospcbattle
  • You will of course need the Soulgem Parchment Clippers emote in order to participate. So what are you waiting for? Go get it from the crown store and start warming up your hand muscles!
  • We've developed an addon to assist with the tournament. While you DON'T HAVE TO HAVE IT to participate, it makes competing AND judging significantly easier. Please check it out ON ESOUI, and consider giving it a go! (I will post a video here soon showing the addon in action!)

You said there would be epic prizes?

“The Better Zoo” Triple Pet Build
Love pets? Have three!

The newest patch has dropped and the ESO pet sorc now has even more pets! Did you feel like 2 pets is simply not enough? Well your dreams have come true and the petsorcs can now run with 3 pets! Enjoy : )

Setup
5x Necropotence
4x Moondancer (one lightning staff, infused with fire enchant)
2x Zaan
1x vMA Lightning Staff (nirnhoned or infused with spell damage enchant)

Alternate Setup
5x Necropotence
5x Mechanical Acuity
1x Domihaus, Kena, Ilambris or Iceheart. Your choice.
1x vMA Lightning Staff (nirnhoned or infused with spell damage enchant)

Bar Setup:
F-Bar: Daedric Prey, Mages Wrath, Flex Spot (i would put shield here), Volatile Familiar, Twilight Tormentor, Elemental Storm
B-Bar: Liquid Lightning, Shock Clench, Lightning Blockade, Volatile Familiar, Twilight Tormentor, Charged Atronach

Rotation:
Initialize - Summon both pets, Potion, Desro Ult, Command both pets
Rota: Liquid Lightning, Light Attack (la), Elemental Blockade, (barswap cancel), LA, Familiar, LA, Curse, Heavy Attack x1, Tormentor (only while enemy is above 50% health. Cast tormentor every 2 rotations. )(barswap cancel)
Repeat.
Execute (20% or less): LL, LA, Ele Blockade, (swap), LA, Familiar, LA, Mages wrath + LA Weave until ele blockade has 1 sec left, repeat.
Q&A and notes and stuff

I am out of Magicka, HELP!
You should not be running out of magicka, omg. If you are, use 2x heavy attacks instead of one, but that will reduce the dmg.
Jewelry x3 spell damage enchant. Replace one or two with magicka regen if you are having issues.

CP - Subject to change.
CP: 40 - Elfborn, 56 - Ele Expert, 43 - Spell Erosion, 26 - Master of Arms, 75 - Thaum

Mundus
I found best results with Apprentice. Thief and mage are ok too. Try what works best for you.
Lover if your group is still learning.

Food: Blue Max Health + Magicka food or Witchmothers.

Attributes: All in magicka.

Notes:
* When just starting your parse don’t light attack before the first liquid lightning. Do LA before LL when you are already parsing and in rotation
** As you start your rotation use destro ult, and subsequently use Atronach. When in trials use Atronach for single target and use destro ult for large add pulls.
Um i didn’t mention this, but use spell power potion on cooldown.

This is how broken the algorythm behind master writ system is

I have 14 characters, of which only 1 of these characters has 9 traits in all 3 major crafting skills and around 90% of all styles learned. This character gets master writs regularly of 5/6/7 vouchers with the occasional one in the 40's. Today I did my daily clothing on a character with no traits researched and only clothing at level 50 and only blue racial styles learned and this character gets a master clothing writ for 74 vouchers... yes 74 vouchers.. Discuss!

Follow me on Twitch for chill ESO pvp streams:

1500 crowns per outfit slot (1 slot) just under $1200 for every slot

$
0
0
so over 13k crowns for all 9

or $100 at the most efficient crown bundle

fyi it was like 350 per slot on the test server

or more expensive then over 2 chapters (so do you want 2 eso chapters or 9 cosmetic slots?)

seems a little bit insane.

btw slots are per character as confirmed in this thread so its actually $100 PER CHARACTER

so 12 characters total x 13,500 crowns per character plus 1500 crowns for the 4 character slots above base 8 in the first place (6k crowns total) is a grand total of. . .

one hundred and sixty eight thousand crowns 168,000

at the most efficient crown bundle (21,000 crowns for $149.99) that's just under $1200 before tax

40k on a test dummy?

God I'm sick of hearing game demi-gods claiming this is easy. I can trash mobs at 40-60k, kick dolmens and public dungeons solo, do some Craglorn group content solo (yeah, yeah, I know some of you can do this blindfolded), so I've got a few skills, but put be in front of a 3 ml test dummy and I can stand there buffing, de-buffing, laying down DoT's, and blasting with everything I've got while maintaining my resources and can still only manage about 10-12k at most. After 1700+ hours and a couple of DPS toons at 700+ CP, gold gear and staff, decent rotation skills, animation canceling (though I'm not really great at it) and I still comparably suck. Put me a vet dungeon where I'm running around trying to stay alive and my suckage meter goes up even further. As a result, I don't even try vet and any HM content as I'm tired of guys getting pissed and kicking me. Honestly, I'm doing the very best I can, but apparently there's something I'm missing? I have no clue how anyone can get even 20k out of a test dummy let alone maintain that level in a dungeon and/or trial. Am I forever doomed to an ESO life of suckage? :(

Do you play in first person or third person?

Im curious what most people play the game in. I typically play in first person which is the opposite i play in most games. I just find it odd to play third person in ESO and more difficult most of the time. But i occasionally will switch to third person for a boss fight. I also find that third person does weird zooms sometimes if you have an object behind you which i find annoying to have my POV change randomly and drastically while i do something. That may be why i play first person... rather than cut the object and show my character, it zooms erratically.

So how do you play ESO?

Extremely dangerous housing storage bug still exists! Don't delete your characters!

Well, I'm quite confused, ZOS. You let this issue go on live servers, and you didn't even aware people about it.

1. I've got a housing storage chest, placed it in my house, deposited 1 bound item (crafter's survey scroll).
2. Logged out.
3. Logged in on my 3 lvl character, teleported to that house and deposited 1 bound armour piece in the storage chest.
4. Logged out.
5. Deleted this 3 lvl character.
6. Logged in on my previous character (who deposited crafter's survey), opened the storage chest and... It's empty! Completely empty!

Because the game deletes all bound items from these chests when you delete a character!!! It deletes not just this character's items, but all bound items in the chest.

Moreover:

1. Deposited 1 bound crafter's survey in the chest, logged out.
2. Created new character, logged in, teleported to the house, logged out.
3. Deleted this new character. - Item's lost.

So, even if you didn't touch the chest, bound items in the chest will be lost anyway.

Be careful, guys.

Which gender do you choose to play in-game and why?

Different queue times for different classes? (Read it all before you reply)

So I've got two characters at about the same level(late teens). One is a magicka Templar, the other is a Stam DK(lvl 18).

I haven't been able to run a dungeon with my DK. I get tired of waiting in queue. They've lasted over an hour. I've tried at different times of day. So I started leveling my Magplar, when I got her to 12, I started queueing for dungeons, assuming it would take a while like my DK. Nope, less than 5 minutes. I queued as Healer and DPS, though, so I just chalked it up to that. But out of curiosity I tried queueing as only DPS, this was at level 15. Still less than 5 minute queue time.

I switched to my lvl 50 Stamplar and queued. Less than 5 minutes again. Then I switched back to the DK immediately after that dungeon... over 50 minutes wait time. So I gave up and switched back to the Magplar and queued. Less than 5 minutes again.

None of these characters is a healer or a tank. What gives? Are DKs being forced to wait longer for some reason?

FIX THE DAMN LAG!!!!!

Zos you should be ashamed of yourselves that you have had this game out for 4 years ... and the servers are still trash. Fix the damn lag for goodness sake! Like honestly what the hell is this lag. The game isn't even playable for pvp and pve during prime time. Did I not mention the game has been out for nearly 4 years smh. Unbelievable that this issue hasn't been dealt with as top priority. Shame on you Zenimax for being lazy.

Could we please be a bit more noob (new player) friendly?

And not so damn elitist. There are plenty of new and returning players who are trying to get into the game so the bullying and put downs aren't helping the game's population. We need these people to hang around for the game's future. I'm getting sick of the constant crappy behaviour.

Rant over. :(

I really cannot understand the thought process behind having a long distance execution ability that is undodgeable to top it off and then add ability to have damage shields that in 1v1 encounters there is almost no point to even bother. I have been paying close eye to the death report details, about 8 out of 10 times when I die in Cyrodiil campaign is to endless fury explosion. I agree that every class needs to have their bs to make them strong somewhere but there is a limit there, like nightblades have their clo... oh wait sorc takes that away too with huge hit box unavoidable stun attack that takes a lot of space.

My two cents that is really the only thing about pvp I have grown to dislike, is mag sorc. Too tanky for 1 button press spam (oblivion enchantment doesn't hit +15k to take them out so don't even bother with that, stuns are not frequent enough to stop them from moving all together and they got insane surge to escape if things seem going south)

Feedback on Growing Swarm Morph (Warden Skill)

Growing Swarm
- Unleash a swarm of Fetcherflies to relentlessly attack an enemy, dealing Magic Damage over 10 seconds. When ability ends, fetcherflies infect up to 6 new targets.
- Spreads to nearby enemies.

The concept of this morph is really cool (spreading to nearby enemies), but the problem with this morph is that it lacks practical use across Tamriel:

1) Overland - it's rare to see more than 3 enemies grouped together, and enemies drop easily and quickly
2) Dungeons and Dragonstar Arena - most trash mobs die at the same time (due to nature of AOE attacks)
3) Maelstrom Arena - enemies mostly come in different waves and often die at same time (due to nature of AOE attacks)
4) PVP - When players ball up on each other there are usually cleanses being thrown out left and right
5) Trials - I don't have a lot of experience here, but based on forum feedback about lack of MagWarden DPS I assume this morph doesn't get much play in trials either

So... why use this morph at all? It doesn't appear to fit into the way ESO combat is designed.

Potential ideas for change:
- AOE placement (select a spot and the Fetcherflies swarm that area for 10 seconds)
- Multi-target dot upon cast (see Templar's Reflective Light)
- Swarm shrouds the caster and gives Major Evasion (self-buff)
- Swarm targets allies to offer a stamina heal over time (my personal favorite and makes stamina healing more interesting, which is why I'm putting this in bold)

Hello gentlemen, I have come here to know why this mechanic is so fast because I can not deviate from it at any time, I wonder if this is normal or I have a problem with mechanics?

we can not get out of the mechanic at all so it is impossible even with the low ping it does not work we always die with the poison we are counting on luck because we can not get out of the poison area

we can not get out of the mechanic at all so it is impossible even with the low ping does not work we always die with the poison we are counting on the luck because we can not get out of the poison area.
mechanics of the poison is very fast making it almost impossible for us.
If I am saying besteria, I apologize to everyone.

Heavy Armor Immovable

Come now ZOS, you take Shuffle from us but we "get" Immovable. An insanely expensive 20 second version of Hardened Armor. No one uses it. How about a small rework of this skill to make it useful like the other 2 armor skills which are both staples in most light/medium builds. Give us Major Mending or at the very least reduce the cost. It's prohibitive.

What are the best traits for every armor part (PvP)

Hi!

i need help with choosing the traits i should use for my Warden Tank for pvp, normally i always put impenetrable in all my parts, but i think i'm doing wrong... i let you down the combination i was thinking and you can tell me what you think. This would be for pvp no CP campain and battlegrounds.

Heavy:
Helm - infused - Truly Superb Glyph of Prismatic Defense
Cuirass - infused - Truly Superb Glyph of Prismatic Defense
Greaves - infused - Truly Superb Glyph of Prismatic Defense
Girdle - Impenetrable - Truly Superb Glyph of Prismatic Defense
Sabatons - Impenetrable - Truly Superb Glyph of Prismatic Defense
Shield - Impenetrable - Truly Superb Glyph of Prismatic Defense

Medium:
Arm Cops - Impenetrable - Truly Superb Glyph of Prismatic Defense

Light:
Gloves - Impenetrable - Truly Superb Glyph of Prismatic Defense

How do you see it? i know maybe Prismatic defense in small parts is a little bit crazy for big cost of the enchants, but that is not a problem for me. And the other thing is i'm not pretty sure if i should use Reinforced or Sturdy in some of the parts.

Ok any help is very welcome! thanks for your help!
